omit the topcoat

Even though I’m not super crazy about textured polish, this looks way better without the top coat. I can’t figure how to describe the look other than to say it’s like a matte polish with glitter. With a topcoat it just looks like yet another glitter nail polish. And personally, I just don’t like the way it looks on me with a topcoat. It paints on neatly, but dries a little slower than I expected. It’s also opaque enough to wear just one coat, but I prefer the look of two. It’s a very pretty color, works well with my tan, and it’s certainly different!

Pixie Dust

Okay I have to admit this polish is so pretty! But the texture is just not for me. I love a shiny smooth polish look. I will however use this as maybe an accent nail from time to time. It really is a beautiful polish I’m just not a fan of the feeling on my nails. It came to me pretty fast and wrapped very well. Thanks again. 🙂

Very nice matte glittery shade. I love the color and the formula, it’s one the most beautiful pixie dusts I have owned.

Didn’t like it then the sun hit…

I was actually disappointed at first. After applying three coats of orange Zoya Nail Polish PixieDust Summer, my freshly polished nails appeared dull. Not much color – or spark. Two days later, when I was already counting hours to remove this nail polish and use something more appealing, the sunshine touched my toes. WOW! PixieDust finally revealed its glamour to me and I realized this actually is a fun polish to use once in a while. In summer, primarily.Other pros: easy to apply, dries fast, good quality brush. I just might get me another color since I spend most of the year bare-footed.

So pretty

This is a sand polish its very sparkely on and its very similar to OPI Liquid sand Jinx. I have both and they are almost identical

Beautiful! I just wear mine differently.

The two colors I have purchased so far are Miranda and Destiny. I know that the recommended way to wear it is no base coat and no top coat, just 2 coats of the polish. This creates a unique texture with beautiful mattified sparkle, but I had a different idea. I love nails that are smooth and glossy, so I applied this like I would regular nail polish. This included my OPI base coat and Seche Vite (sorry if spelling is incorrect) top coat. I used one layer of base coat, two of my polish, and 2 coats of top coat. The top coat is a speed drying top coat, but I ALWAYS spray my nails with PAM (or other canola spray) when done painting to insta-dry the polish, then I wash it off with soap after it sets on my nails for 20 seconds. The top coats create a beautifully smooth, glossy, and glamorous look and I just adore it. Some nails may need a small third layer of top coat if it still feels rough to the touch, however. As for the colors, I ADORE Miranda. I have almost every shade of pinkish to red. I purchased the Destiny thinking it was more of a pink coral, but in person it is definitely more orange than I thought it would be and looks a bit odd with my skin tone, but that’s okay, it’s still beautiful. :)A friend of mine is having her baby shower next week. As a little extra gift for her, I ordered the Stevie purple color, because she loves purple and it has her name (it’s Stefanie, but she goes by Stevie for short)! I can’t wait to see the look on her face when she sees her favorite shade of purple with her name on the bottle.Any who, I do really love these polishes, but even if I can’t pull off the textured look too well, adding a top coat created one of the most glamorous nail polish effects that I have ever seen.

Gorgeous color but a few minor issues

I absolutely love the new trends in textured polish. I have tried just about every brand out there so when I saw this I had to give it a whirl. I got this in Beatrix. It is a beautiful sparkling tangerine color with tons of glitter. At first I thought it would not have a true “sand” texture but it really does. The effect is amazing. It sparkles like having thousands of little diamonds on your nails, but at the same time has that gorgeous texture. As far as color goes—I am sold. I love how Zoya has bright bold colors in this line. The only issue I really had is with the formula/application of this polish. It is a little thinner in consistency and less opaque than the OPI liquid sand. Even after applying two coats it was a little patchy especially at the tips of my nails so I needed to add a third coat to get full opaque coverage and then it worked perfectly. It does dry very quickly which is a plus. I cannot speak for how long it lasts or how easy it is to remove as I only just bought and applied it. I will update my review in a few days to cover this information. Overall, I really like this polish and I will definitely be picking up a few more colors.Since writing this review I have also gotten the color Solange. This is also a gorgeous color. However, I would like to note that it is much less yellow than it appears in the photos. In my opinion it is more of a true gold color. It is still a beautiful and very chic color, just not the lemony yellow I was expecting.

Sexy, vibrant, fresh berry color

Im a fan of OPI liquid sands, I met this baby while searching for new OPI colors. Zoya was a strange name for me :] but thankfully to many swatches on googles I decided to buy this which became one of my fav. This is a true vibrant raspberry color, the harmony mixing of red and vivid pink glitters make it more stunning. Its glitters are very fine, true to its name “pixel”, not big and rough as OPI liquid sands. The bottle and cap are quite short which isnt much handy, but its not a big deal tho. The brush is a bit narrow if you get use to OPI brushes. However it becomes a good point when I realized narrow brush has helped me smooth out the liquid precisely, without leaving any stain around my curticles. I kid you not, I dont have to use Q-tips or Pencil remover to clean my curticles after applying this. Zoya pixel Miranda is a must have nail polish for ladies who love to be stunning yet feminine.P/S: shipping from this seller is awesome, even faster then Amazon Prime, It took one day only.
