Not sure if working, but smells great!
I especially like the fact that it is made in Germany. Can’t really tell if it is working but I would like to think it is helping for the cost of the item. Not to mention the S&H to Hawaii is ridiculous here on Amazon (you don’t know how much each item is going to be until after you authorize payment!). But I like Weleda and recommend it at any cost esp the skin food lotion. Although the product containers should be rethought to be more suitable for the consumer and the environment.(The birch oil comes in a glass bottle w/a screw cap and dispenses quite meesily-leaves cap all oily and drips down side of bottle ;( )
mild enough to use on face — excellent value compared to dept store
I’ve used more expensive oils before (Clarins) but thisis far more effective and pleasant smelling. The all naturalingredients are soothing and did help with cellulite somewhat.A great gift too!UPDATE: I now use “Josie Maran Argan Oil” instead of this.
I love this oil! I put it on my wet skin right after the shower, and just blot dry the water with a towel. It smells so fresh, and hydrates the skin without heavy oilyness. I am using this for years now, and my skin looks great. It is better than any lotion I have tried so far. Also great is that there is nothing artificial in this oil.
I recently gained about 20 lbs. I was prob too thin before but I hurt my back and went from 2 hour a day hot yoga to nothing at all. I also started eating less healthy. So, here comes the fat! I started using this and saw a difference right away. Is the cellulite gone? No. I’ll have to get lipo if I want that. However, the indention in the dimples is less. I will have to work out to correct the issue but after 1 week I see less cellulite when I sit. I also did an ionic foot bath and saw a lot of lymphatic detox which will help. I am going to get a dry brush which will also help. It’s a process and most of it doesn’t start with a product but short term I give this a thumbs up. Weleda is awesome.
Feels good and softens skin, great fragrance
I like this very much, the only drawback is, you have to let it dry before you get dressed. Also it needs to be massaged into the skin. Otherwise, it’s fine. The brand is a reputable one.
doesn’t minimize cellulite appearance
I think this product should be called birch oil, that’s it. It had a nice woodsy kind of smell and it made my skin feel soft as would any oil. However I don’t think it did anything as far as cellulite is concerned. I run 5 times a week, eat organic foods and take a variety of supplements so overall I’m pretty fit and healthy. This oil did not deliver what it seems to promise or imply. Coconut oil is just as good if not better and a lot cheaper. This product was expensive for what it is. I used it multiple times a day as directed, rubbing in circular motion and no change whatsoever in the appearance of cellulite. Was hoping this was going to be a natural product that reduced the appearance of cellulite but like I said it did nothing but make my skin soft.
Improvment Defintally Seen
You have to combine this with diet, exercise, and regular use to see anything improvement. You can’t just apply this and think it will do all the work by yourself. I don’t usually noticed that it worked until I have forgot to use it and my thighs look like there is cellulite showing.Regular use is very important because the oil is absorbed into the tissue which helps improves circulation and acts like astringent to help firm. Some people are saying it smells woodys to them however when I smell mine it makes me think of the cereal fruit loops.Much cheaper on here than the organic store I buy mine from but natural is better for your body. You can try to make some of your own but I recommend trying some first before you waste money in a project first
I like the smell
I like the smell of this oil. I rub it in well after a workout, and I swear it feels like its really fighting the cellulite (hopefully). Either way, the oil soothes my legs. It is very thick, so I loosen it with a bit of lotion.
