This is a very strange type of lotion. It applies to the face in a slippery almost slimy type feel something like a beaten egg. On the face, it felt tight like I had a mask on or something but the idea was to use it under my makeup. Basically, I felt like I had smeared a beaten egg on my face. I felt like I needed to wash my face. I did not notice any difference in my skin on my face but then again, I was only able to use it for about 12 days because the stuff turned a yukky orange/brown in the bottle before I had it even two weeks. The instructions in the package said to discontinue use if it changed colors. So the answer is NO. I would not buy this product again. It was not for me.
NOT VERY EFFECTIVE
I HAVE USED SEVERAL PRODUCT CONTAINING VITAMIN A & C AND THIS IS NOT EFFECTIVE AT ALL. GOES ON NICE, BUT DIDN’T SEE ANY REJUVINATION.
I like this product <3 it doesn’t work over night but it definitely does what it’s suppose to do. Give it a try.
THIS IS A TOXIC MESS! AVOID & DON’T BUY!
Don’t be a sucker for this gimmick. I’m in my early 40’s and have delicate, fair skin with cool undertones and no real bad issues. Most often, people guess my age to be 10 years less than I am. I’m no stranger to spending a lot of money on different items to help tone the skin, reduce fine lines, lighten acne scars or mild age spots. I’m a fan of Retin A & Vit. C. with alpha hydroxy and sunscreen in my moisturizer. For a change of pace, I strayed from my usual use of a Skin Cosmetics product and have already returned to using it! This serum literally BURNED sections of my skin, leaving some areas looking red & taught, feeling painful and tender after just one use! There’s no way I could use this twice in a day or even twice in a week, I obviously had a bad reaction to at least one of the ingredients, deeming it a waste of time and money. It would be nice if True Radiance would list the exact percentages of their active ingredients because after discussing them with my Dermatologist (a Harvard Grad), she advised me that using more than one or two acids at a time willl likely have the effect on anyone that it had on me. The Retin A combined with the hyaluronic acid AND lactic acid is overkill. Witch hazel may be used alone as a toner, so when it’s also added to this product, it’s simply a recipe for harsh results. Overall and simply stated, I believe this contains too much of a good thing. We need to be kind and gentle with our skin, not use high levels of multiple acids and exfoliants simultaneously. Consider yourself warned. Stay beautiful!
For what it says it does, It feels like any other serum to me. Way too over-priced my vit-C serum cost 1/3 the price and does the same job.
I’m impressed! The condition of my skin is improving. I’m going to continue using it and see how much my shin improves over time.
I bought this to use on my face but it made it peel which i knew it would but it was to much peeling so i stated using int on my hands and feet to get ride of dark spots you have to use it all the time for hands and feet cause the skin is thicker and it doesnt cause as much peeling. works well. effects take a while to see.
