it smells amazing

the smell of this is great its just like the butter lotion version.I would recommend it to anybody who loves to smell good.

I have always loved and use this scent in the body creme, etc…so I tried the shampoo. it is too waxy for me to use and the scent has a chemical smell with it – not the same or as enjoyable as the cremes/lotions/scrub, etc.

Shipping was sticky

When this arrived like half of it was in the bag it came in, it’s still really good stuff though. Like the smell is great, tropical but not like a pineapple or coconut smell. It’s pretty hydrating too, leaves your skin pretty soft. It doesn’t last that long, but it’s great.after reading up on the ingredients more I’ve decided to stop using most Tree Hut products because they’re about as good for your skin as Axe body care products or Old Spice, sometimes Axe/Old Spice even have less harmful ingredients.WaterAmmonium Laureth SulfateAmmonium Lauryl SulfateAcrylates/Palmeth-25 Acrylate CopolymerDisodium CocoamphodiacetateCocamidopropyl BetaineGlycerinPolysorbate 20Aleurites Moluccana Seed Oil (Kukui)Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)PPG-2 Hydroxyethyl Coco/IsostearamideMethyl Gluceth-20Stearic AcidGlycol DistearatePEG-100 StearateGuar Hydroxypropyltrimonium ChlorideSodium Hydroxide*FragranceMethylisothiazolinonePhenylethanolPPG-2-Methyl EtherGlycereth-2 CocoateBenzoic Acid*The word “fragrance” or “parfum” on the product label represents an undisclosed mixture of various scent chemicals and ingredients used as fragrance dispersants such as diethyl phthalate. Smells great!

I liked this body wash as much as the other reviewers – it smells great, and is thick and leaves your skin soft and silky. I also am in love with theTree Hut Body Scrub, Hawaiian Kukui, 18 -Ounce Jars (Pack of 3)… it smells even stronger than the body wash, and is a really thick scrub.

Tree Hut Hawaiian Kukui Shower Wash

Found this on sale, and being a sucker for deals, I decided to give it a go. After all, it’s natural, and some organic ingredients, and is certified for no parabens. Not a bad deal.I liked the smell. It actually smelled a bit like baby powder to me. Sweet and fresh and powdery. Maybe not what someone is expecting from the tag of “Hawaiian” and to be quite honest, I don’t know what a kukui is (one web search later, a Kukui is a type of Hawaiian tree). Still, I don’t know what one smells like, so I can only assume that this perhaps smells like it. The wash itself lathers into a nice white foam. I wouldn’t say it’s an extreme amount of foam. Indeed, it did better on a poof while it pretty much failed the bath bubble test, but a small amount was enough to lather a full body. I think I used about a quarter sized amount each time with no problem.I commented a bit on ingredients already. Most are pretty good. There is sodium laureth sulfate, which I was slightly disappointed with. But there’s also Kukui extract and shea butter. And the overall ingredient list wasn’t huge. Still, I think it could be a little better, but at least it seems fairly easy on the skin. It’s also moisturizing, which I can agree with as skin seems softer after using it. And it does a normal cleaning job with skin as most other shower gels.I liked this shower gel, but I’d opt for one with a little better ingredient list should I choose again. But for the price, especially on a 16oz bottle, it’s not bad.Review by M. Reynard 2013

No more itchy rashes!

Since I was young I would get a form of hives every time I got out of the shower. It’s only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. So I started searching for a soap to use that would not cause it and found this at my local grocery store. Immediately I noticed the difference! No more rashes. Well, at least until I put on my clothes… then I realized that if a shower soap was causing me a rash, then maybe the laundry soap was too. So I switched to a sensitive skin laundry soap and that stopped that. So between this WONDERFUL body wash and the laundry soap change, I am 99% free of those nasty allergic reactions I had been getting!I’ve tried a number of natural body washes and this one seems to be the most moisturizing. Between it and the thick shea butter they make, my skin is finally more normal and not annoying. I can even (gasp!) get away with not putting lotion on EVERY time I get out of the shower, therefore my daily shower ritual doesn’t ALWAYS have to take up 30 minutes! :DIf you are comparing their different shower washes, I’ve tried a couple different ones now and this definitely helps with the hives the best. However, I also tried the Lavender and Olive Oil one and I LOVE the smell and the way my skin feels really soft with that one. However, I do notice it’s not as moisturizing as the Kukui one so I go back and forth between them.

luxuriant and softening

This body wash is different than any other we have ever used. Just the smallest amount is needed, and WOW does it leave skin soft! It’s a great experience. Hubby and I are using this in combination with Tree Hut’s shea/kukui body butter and we feel like our skin is 20 yrs younger. I know that might sound a little far fetched, but it is amazing how much moisture these kukui products put back into your skin. Thought I was going to flake away this winter, until I found these great products. Now my skin (face and body)looks and feels fantastic. Highly recommend this and the body butter as a gift set. I just gave some to my mom and can’t wait for her to start realizing the benefits. Going to order some for my sisters as well.
