- Long wearing
The color looks like chalk on your lips!
Don’t purchase this color it looks like chalk on your lips and it shows every line on your lips. The lipstick is very moisturizing but does not last long.
Yes, it’s pricey for a lipstick, but this is just lipstick perfection. First of all, it’s buttery smooth. Compare it to most lipsticks and it blows it out of the water as far as texture. It’s silky, smooth, and hydrating. The color is so vibrant and elegant, and truly beautiful. This collection of lipsticks by Too Faced is classy! The presentation is also lovely – looks very high end. Can’t wait to get more colors!
Spice Spice Baby
This lipstick is very creamy and moisturizing. It goes on the lips like butter and anyone who is looking for decent lipstick that hydrates with good neutral color then you will love this lipstick. The color, Spice Spice Baby is all around great color for any makeup look….very versatile. I am Asian with deeper yellow undertone and fairly tan so this color is works for me. I have nothing negative to say about this lipstick outside of the price. I am fairly new to the makeup world and feel that other drugstore lipsticks do everything Too Faced La Creme lipstick does for fraction of the cost. One of my personal favorite line is NYX. More than half the cost and same quality results as higher end cosmetics in general.
I love this lipstick. The color Honey Bear reminds me of the awesome Celebrity Meltdown shade that Too Faced discontinued a few years ago (curses, Too Faced!!!). The formula is smooth, creamy, easy to apply, hydrating, and pretty long-lasting. You really couldn’t ask for more in a lipstick.
okay, but moisturizing lipstick
Very hydrating lipstick. love the color, but the lasting power is not something to be envied. great lipstick for the drier months
I will never let myself run out
I found this lipstick not too long ago. I am on my second tube of lipstick now. It is the most natural lipstick I have ever used. Goes with everything and looks sassy. LOVE IT!
Really creamy for a lip stick
I bought this because i really wanted a nude lip color. This one (nude beach) is really a good shade of nude (I have a light complexion that darkens a little in the summer, and pinky lips). Its not too pink, like many nudes, and not too brown either. The lipstick itself is really creamy and moisturizing. I’m a sucker for packaging and love the expensive look of this one. But I’d be careful in hot weather because it IS metal, and if the product gets too hot it could melt!
“I Want Candy” is a perfect lippy for summer!
One of my favorite bloggers (Keiko Lynn) just did a really pretty summer makeup look using this lipstick in I Want Candy. It was such a pretty shade for summer, that I had to go out and buy it!I’m fair and cool (I wear MAC NW20), and this lipstick works well with my coloring. It’s this really pretty mix of a coral and light pink, and I haven’t seen anything quite like it before. While I love Too Faced products, this was their first lipstick I’ve tried, and I really like it. I’ve seen it compared to Revlon Lip Butters, and it definitely has a similar texture, but is even smoother and much more long-lasting. To make it a bit less sheer, you can use a lip pencil underneath it.I really love this, and will most likely be adding more to my collection!
doesn’t have great staying power
I got the color juicy melons and I think it’s very pretty with my olive skin. The lipstick is very creamy, sheer but with good pigment. My only complaint is that it isn’t very long lasting.
This thing is creamy, pigmented, smooth, and pretty much all the qualities you’d want for a perfect application. The slanted tip makes it easy to slather on, and the color is vibrant from the very first application. My favorite color is Razzle Dazzle Rose, as it is the PERFECT cool, medium pink color. This is moisturizing for your lips as well, so you don’t have to worry about this cracking or drying out. The price is a bit steep ($20), especially considering the Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters that proceeded it. But the quality difference is apparent. The Too Faced one lasts a whole lot longer than the Revlon ones, and are consistently pigmented. The Revlon ones are a hit or miss, depending on the shade. The colors from Revlon just isn’t the same.So here’s the bottom line: if you want to save money while still enjoying the benefits of a moisturizing lip product, then go for the Revlon. But if you want to “splurge” and get a lipstick that you will reach for almost everyday, then go for the Too Faced. All their colors have a great quality, so you can’t go wrong with your favorite color.
A nice color
This is sort of a red/wine color that glides on, however, it does not have much staying power. However, it is chock full of lip smoothing emollients that will keep your lips soft and smooth. The color is sheer, which makes it an almost neutral color. In spite of the lack of staying power, I will probably purchase another tube soon. I do love the color.
I have decided there is no other lipstick for me, LOVE this , the consistency is "dreamy" (cant believe I used that word, but it just is) , it wears well, better than most as far as longevity, but this color is too pink for this 43 yr old ( & Im not stuffy, its just more appropriate for a 20 something in my opinion) I will keep it and use it very sparingly with a clear gloss over it for just a touch of pink or maybe give it to one of my daughters. NO complaints on quality or price (its worth it) at all, just not crazy about the color ( I bought mine from Ulta so I did see it in person, I just didn’t judge well)
