Rinses out easily
Rinses out very easily yet very thick and rich in consistency. Not too perfumy, a clean neutral smell. Not toofemmy.
See and Feel the Difference!
I used this twice and I can really see and feel the difference in my hair. I’m very happy with the product and I’ll continue to use it once or twice a week.
conditions and nourishes
When used with Toni&Guy Nourish Shampoo for damaged hair, this conditioner really does help out a head full of hair thats been majorly abused! it makes my hair feel so soft so clean and healthy after using it. Its okay to use on color treated hair, which mine is (and thats why its damaged!)
Pefect for both Men and Women.
I gave this to my son who said it made hair soft and loved it until he lost — I guess I will be buying more. He stated that he had a nice smell but was not too ‘girly’. His hair was damaged and did help with the healing and management.
Good Not as Good as the Shampoo
Toni&Guy; products are a little different from the rest. They have a unique product with its own feel and I really enjoy that. I liked the way this conditioner felt, but I wasn’t as impressed with it as I was with their shampoo, which had its own distinct feel.Their products are the kind that you will want to use extra diligence with to work into your hair. As a swimmer, I felt like this did supply extra value for damaged hair, which can often be a mixed bag. This product does stand above much of its competition. I liked the feel, but ultimately I wasn’t blown away. There’s results, but I prefer many of my other conditioners.
Toni&Guy Nourish Conditioner for Damaged Hair, 8.5 Fluid Ounce
I have tried this hair product for several weeks now. It is O.K. I never really found any benefit. There are people who probably will like this. The worst thing is the container. It is so hard to open that I had to get my husband toopen this. There is no screw cap. You have to press down hard to open a teeny hole to get the product to flow. This product did me no good.
A great conditioner for damaged hair
Along with Toni&Guy’s Shampoo, I have been using the conditioner and especially after coloring my hair. I have been using this one instead of the conditioners normally included with the hair coloring. It has left my hair so much softer and easier to handle. The Shampoo is terrific as well. I have only used the conditioner after the coloring so I will give an update as I use it more regularly. It has a wonderfully soft and luxurious feel and I love the effect it has on my hair. I am going to give it another month and then write an update.
Intense Moisture & Shine
The smell of this product was a little too perfumy for my tastes but as far as strengthening and fortifying damaged hair in need of repair it works pretty well. Also as far as moisturizing and giving a nice shine to hair. Not sure exactly what makes this product any different than some other higher end conditioners but it was adequate. I’d say its better than the cheap stuff but the best i’ve ever used- probably not. It’s hard to judge with conditioners cause they all claim to have a special benefit but a lot of them are the same. I’d give this one somewhere between 3-4 stars compared with others on the market around the same price range. Used by iconic British designers at London fashion shows this conditioner works best with Toni&guy; shampoo. You can also visit their website or scan the code on the back for expert styling tips and techniques. Decent price/pretty good conditioner but didn’t care for the smell as much. 3.5 stars.
Good nourishment, unfortunate smell
I’ve used this conditioner for almost a week and my hair is responding to it well. It’s been a really dry winter and my previous brand seemed to be leaching any moisture out of my hair. I’m using both the Toni & Guy Shampoo and Conditioner for Damage Hair and I’ve noted a marked increase in moisture. My one complain is the smell. These products smell like cheap perfume. I far prefer the more modern, herbal scents of products like Aveda. Fortunately, the smell doesn’t seem to last.
Clean, fresh scent! It is harder to dispense the conditioner from the bottle than most other products. The plastic bottle is rather thick and stiff. The bottle fell once in the shower and the entire cap was fell apart. So, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The conditioner itself works well. I am not so sure about the claims for damaged hair as I did not see improvement in that regard. It does rinse easily and doesn’t leave hair greasy or weighed down. For me the biggest plus is the clean scent. The worst part is the packaging. So, if something needs improving, at least it is the package and not the product.
Not Great if You Have Sensitive Skin
The first thing I noticed while trying this product out for the first time was the scent. I noted that it reminded me of a men’s cologne. The second thing I noticed while trying this product out was, how silky it made my hair. It does a really good job moisturizing, but as a result caused my skin to go crazy. My head started itching constantly and was greasy, I finally decided the product was no good after trying to force myself to use it for several weeks and got ride of it. I would not recommend it
Good day-to-day conditioner
I was new to Toni&Guy products before trying their conditioner and shampoo, and in general I’m glad I did. The conditioner has a nice fragrance (though a bit strong for my taste) and leaves my hair soft and shiny. I’d say it works as well as more expensive products I’ve tried…definitely worth a try if you’re new to Toni&Guy.
Great nourishing conditioner….
This is an excellent conditioner that really hydrates my dry, coarse hair. My hair soaks it up like a sponge. It really has a great de-tangling effect on my hair, and that’s a rare thing with conditioners and my hair (which is very long to my waist). The fragrance is clean and fresh, not too heavy or "flowery", could easily be used by men as well. I plan on getting the deep conditioner to go with this Nourish product for winter weather since it has been so dry this year. If you want soft, shiny, lustrous hair, this is the conditioner…I think you’ll love it. TiGi makes super great professional products (I’ve used them when visiting my hair salon) and this one’s no exception. Nourish really deserves 5 stars.
I have reviewed this in tandem with the shampoo.I got the shampoo and conditioner with the hope of de-frizzing my hair and working on my breaking ends. I’ve been using the system for about two weeks with the occasional break (I don’t shampoo my hair every day). I have color treated, fine hair that is prone to frizz. The first day I tried it, I skipped my styling products. I don’t use a lot, just mousse and a de-frizz cream. My hair stayed decently calm without the help, but had a bit of fluff at the ends.A few days later, I used it again without styling products. Again, slight fluff, but not bad.The next time I used it, I did put styling products in my hair. My curls were nice and defined without a lot of fluff. The biggest thing I’ve noticed since using this product is that the ends look and feel stronger. My hair feels smooth and I don’t see the normal breakage. It isn’t a dramatic change and I know I’m going to be due for a haircut soon, but it is good.I will add that my daughter used the shampoo and conditioner on her extensions and said it didn’t help. So, probably not the best product for extensions.I do like that the conditioner makes my hair feel smooth when I’m done.
Love This Conditioner
I have damaged hair mostly on the ends from daily use with a flat iron. Toni & Guy Nourish Conditioner is a fabulous conditioner that makes my hair feel fuller and soft and really helps my dry ends. I ran out of my normal conditioner and started using this product and this makes my hair feel just as good as my other conditioner which is more expensive. After washing my hair, I apply this conditioner and just leave it on for a little while as I wash my face and then rinse it off and it leaves my hair in wonderful condition. Will purchase again! This has a nice clean scent and the formula is rich and feels great on my hair.
Great conditioner ounce for ounce
This conditioner can be used sparingly. It’s important to work it into scalp. The directions say to massage and comb into hair. Importantly, we are to leave this in our hair a few moments and only then rinse out.It does something terrific – on my hair and for others in my family. Everybody likes it. The scent isn’t strong and we all like it.
I have long blond hair (mid back length) that is semi-thick. It’s easier to curl than straighten. With that background, I am always looking for products that leave my hair soft, shiny, good smelling and helps my split ends. For the first time ever….I can say a hair product lives up to its claim. This stuff is seriously amazing. I wash my hair at night. I also have to pick through my hair in the shower while conditioner is in it so that I can prevent snarls. With this product, a lot goes a long way. It’s easy to come through, and when I wake up in the morning….my hair is salon soft. It doesn’t matter if I straighten it or curl it….it is soft and full of shine. I’ve only been able to get this at a salon. It also smells AMAZING! I can’t describe the smell, but it’s a good smell for both men and women to use.I will be buying again, well worth the price.
Love at First Use
I love this stuff. It makes my hair so soft and manageable and I really don’t have that type of hair. My hair is thick, coarse all on its own but now I have damage from some over processing that I had done recently. I’ve been applying oils, masks and deep conditioners and this product along with the shampoo is the first thing I’ve used that has actually made a different to my hair. I can actually feel my hair transforming as I start washing and conditioning it in the shower.I don’t normally think hair products make that big of a difference to my hair. I usually just pick them on which consistency and scent I prefer but Toni&Guy;’s Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner for Damaged Hair has made a big difference.Highly recommend.
made my hair more manangeable
This conditioner works pretty well, I have a lot of very fine hair that gets tangled easily, especially when I sleep and what I noticed about this product is that when I wake up in the morning, after using this the day before, my hair is not a rat’s nest of snarls and knots. It leaves my hair feeling soft and helps it to behave. The only thing I didn’t like about this conditioner was the smell, which wasn’t awful…just a little too strong for me.
This is the "Nourish" half of Tony & Guy’s hair products, the conditioner; the first being the shampoo, "Cleanse." Same marvelous cinnamon notes, which I find to cater to a masculine sensibility (but that is just my opinion), same excellent, rich, decadence profile as The shampoo, that is the hallmark of premiere hair products.
good conditioning power but overwhelming scent
After two days, I noticed distinct improvement in my hair (long, naturally wavy, dyed and with some split ends). I was pleased with the results, primarily the smoothing it achieved, but unfortunately the scent was just too much for me. It didn’t fade after a while like other conditioners do; in fact, the scent lingers for the entire 24 hours. It’s not unpleasant, a kind of musky scent like men’s products, but it gave me a headache especially after the second day. I waited a week and tried again, and again only made it two days before I had to give it up. For the few days I used it, I’d say its conditioning power was about on par with some of the mid-level drugstore brands, and I’m not sure I’d pay the few extra dollars for this particular product. Still, the smoothing effects were really nice, and if it hadn’t been for the scent I would have liked it.
appealing Unisex scent
Softened my hair nicely and allowed me to run a brush through my hair easily (brown highlighted blonde with foils, 50 year old, curly, Irish, sometimes flat-ironed/sometimes not, trimmed every other month), which is really all I ask from a conditioner, The scent was light and pleasing, hard for me to place, floral and musky maybe? I like a citrus or my favorite Paul Mitchell line of product scent. The bottle was super easy to use,the conditioner is thicker than the shampoo, still it is easy to dispense and the top unscrews easily when you get to the bottom of the bottle so you can use it all.
I have highlighted hair and swim in a pool regularly. I use this conditioner after my swims and it really helps to keep them nourished. I use aveda products too and this one is similar in quality. It is not made of natural ingredients, so 4 starts only.
Oh my goodness! Toni & Guy Nourish Conditioner for Damaged Hair makes my hair feel great! It doesn’t take but a little dollop to condition all my hair. My hair looks healthy and shiny after using it. This is a very good product.
This review goes hand-in-hand with the review of the Toni & Guy Cleanse Shampoo for Damaged Hair. I have thick, coarse, dry, naturally wavy/curly, virgin hair that I flat iron daily and wash twice weekly. It is hard to find a good shampoo/conditioner combination that gets my roots clean and my ends conditioned – it’s a tough balance. I have tried all sorts of crazy expensive shampoos to just semi-expensive and a mix of the two. From Bed Head (which was the same brand as Toni & Guy), Kerastase, Pureology, Paul Mitchell, Alterna, Bumble, Aveda, literally the list goes on…I actually really liked Bed Head shampoo & conditioner so I was not shocked that I like this combination so much. It cleans my hair and removes all the build up and leaves it silky smooth. I can go 3-4 days without it looking greasy or weighed down. I literally have no complaints about this conditioner. It’s now my go to shampoo and conditioner and I will continue to buy it. Love Love Love!
I like the Toni and Guy Nourish shampoo and I think that this conditioner works well with it.The conditioner feels great. It spreads easily though the hair so you don’t have to use too much. I leave it on a few minutes and rinse it out. The only downside is if you don’t get it fully rinsed your hair will be quite sticky. But if you take a minute to rinse thoroughly, it leaves your hair soft and nice. My hair was easy to style. It wasn’t weighed down at all.
I used the shampoo that goes with this product and liked it also. The smell was great and it made my hair feel manageable and silky after. Like I said with the shampoo this product is a little high priced for the amount you get which is 8.5 ounce but it is a very good product. Would buy them both to get the full experience.Nice product!
This is a great conditioner! I have used it everyday for the past week and my hair feels very soft, and split ends have vanished. I get my hair colored on a regular basis, so it tends to dry out easily, but I comb this through in the shower and leave it sit for a few minutes and my hair has never been softer. I also have less fly aways. Will definitely buy again.
Heavy and luxurious
The first time I used the Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner I felt like it wasn’t washing out of my hair all the way. When I dried my hair, it felt heat and weighed down by the product. After it was dried though it truly looked amazing. My hair laid well, styled easily and had less frizz. The style lasted 3 days before I washed again without looking greasy, which I appreciated, being a mom that can’t get a hair washing in everyday. The product dispenses nicely, and will last quite a long time as a little bit goes a long way. The shampoo foams just enough to make you feel the cleaning. The conditioner is very thick and coats your hair completely. It has a bit of a masculine scent to it, but it doesn’t linger and didn’t bother me.Overall I really loved the Toni&Guy; line.
This did a great job with my long, straight(ish), damaged hair. My hair is full of broken strands and flyways because I wash and blow-dry it every day, and this helped to tame that without weighing it down. I still feel like my hair has decent body after using it (never great– I just don’t have enough hair to "really" have body, but many other conditioners leave it either frizzy or totally flat). It has a sensual scent, but that doesn’t last after you dry your hair. Interesting bottle design that you have to "pop" open to get the conditioner out; I like it because it’s unlikely to leak if you travel with it.
