Honest reviews

As the other reviewers have previosuly stated, it DOES stink. It kinda smells like body odor, or armpit sweat. Its EXTREMELY sticky. It makes your hair VERY crispy at first. And then it makes your hair frizzy and dry.I guess that’s their definition of “volume”…dry and frizzy.I washed this crap out of my hair and my hair stayed dry and crunchy for like 2 days AFTER.Horrible Horrible product Suave. I wish I could give it NO stars…

Works and smells fine.

I’ve been using this mousse for more than a year now, and I’ve never had issues with bad odor. I don’t notice any smell to it in my hair, nor any stickiness (which is actually why I love this mousse). I use a ball of it when my hair is damp and then blow-dry and straighten. It does give a little more volume to my thin hair, although it doesn’t make it look as sleek as some other products do. Shining spray fixes that though.Overall, this is the best cheap mousse I’ve tried.

hold jusy as well if not better

smells good , price is good compare to other name hair is thinning but when i uethis makes it look so much better and it does not make my scalp flaky like the other one’s i tried.

Not sure if I have the same stuff!

Maybe my Suave volumizing mousse has a different formula, but I have no complaints about the smell or the texture of my hair after I use it – other than I need to brush or comb it through once my hair has dried or my hair is stiff. This mousse is the best solution for my half-straight and half-wavy layered hair. I simply put in on when my hair is wet and I am done with styling. I can hardly detect any odor to the product. This is the difference for me between a bad and good hair day.

This IS a very good mousse

I have used this mousse for over a year and I really like it. I have short fine thinning hair and this mousse does create volume. It does NOT stink like some reviewers have said. It has a good smell or I wouldn’t use it. It doesn’t have an oily/ greasy feel. It’s light/ airy. It’s $2.88 at Walmart. I also really like Suave Touchable Finish Hairspray.
