Good product but not a match for my needs
My hair is very fine and straight but very thick (I have lots of hair). I found that this conditioner (when paired with the matching shampoo) was too heavy for my hair. After using the shampoo and conditioner my hair did not feel completely clean and was so soft that it would not hold a curl or body. My hair was quite shiny and looked healthy but would not stay styled. I also did not like the heavy, sweet and musky smell of the product. I think that it would be a much better match for ethnic hair or those with heavy, coarse or curly hair. I think it is a good product but not a match for me.
Really Like the Moroccan Infusion Line (Conditioner & Shampoo). Contains Sunscreens for Treated Hair Protection
I’ve used the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Shampoo & Conditioner on a daily basis for a week and like the results a lot. The Color Care conditioner has almost the same ingredients as the Moroccan Infusion Shine Conditioner except that Color Care has the following additional ingredients: Benzophenone-4, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (used as a “sunscreen” for your hair). With obvious results in one day, both the Color Care & the Shine products left my shoulder length, medium to fine hair more shiny & softer than any other hair care products I’ve used. The Shine line gave my hair just a touch more bounce the following day, but the Color Care line provides added sunscreen that is suppose to keep hair color true. The shampoo/conditioner smell is more exotic-y than flowery. My best guess is that the manufacturer wanted us to think of beaches/suntans rather than gardens/flowers. As best I can tell, the smell seems to be a combination of almond-y-vanilla & coconut. It is a fairly heavy scent & it stays with your hair until about mid-day before subsiding. However, scent-wise, it is no heavier than some other brand name products. The shampoo/conditioner rinses out well, and my hair does not frizz after blow-drying. With little additional product, it allows my hair to keep a style for the day.Overall, I really like this new Suave Moroccan line because my hair has never been shinier or softer. The Color Care line is great if you are in the sun & want to protect your hair/color. Once I deplete my regular Suave line-up, I will move over to the professional line-up and not look back.
Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner
I bought this a few weeks ago in Wal-Mart just to try because I really like Suave products but this didn’t seem to make any more of a difference than my regular Suave conditioner does and my hair was always shiny from it too even though I color it regularly and use a hot hair dryer. It may work better for others because we all have different hair so try it and see but if you already get good results from what you’re using then I’d just stay with your normal conditioner unless this costs less.
I’m impressed with Suave’s Moroccan hair care products…
My daughter & I have two different types of hair. My short, baby fine hair has no body; her long hair has some wave & a medium texture. Neither of us used Suave products in the past.I had the opportunity to review Suave Professionals Moroccan line of hair care products & I’m very impressed with them.Because my baby fine hair can be weighed down by some hair products, especially conditioners, I let my daughter testSuave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Shampoo 28 oz&Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner 28 ozfirst. She had great results; her hair was left shiny & manageable after using both the shampoo & conditioner in Suave’s Professionals Moroccan line. She shampoos & conditions her hair every other day, but was surprised that her hair was still reasonably shiny 24 hours after shampooing/conditioning. About once a week, she also uses the Shine Mask & Styling Oil in this same line, & has had great results. However, she thinks if she uses them (the oil & the mask) too often they will cause a build-up. When I finally decided to try the shampoo & conditioner, I was surprised that my hair wasn’t weighed down by the conditioner & was left shiny too. After using the shampoo & conditioner, both of us were left with shiny, manageable hair. Neither of us have developed product build-up yet.I will update my review if my opinion changes. As it is right now, we both love the Suave Professionals Moroccan line of hair care products & will continue to use them.
I LOVE this conditioner. I have normal to oily color treated wavy hair that I blow-dry straight just about every day. This left my hair soft, shiny and not weighed down. The only negative might be that it left my hair too soft – I had to use a texturizing balm for styling. I don’t use this conditioner everyday, though I think it would be fine for everyday.
Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner
Wow, this makes my hair feel so soft and silky! It instantly smooths my wet hair when I put it on. I love how it makes my hair feel. When I dry my hair, it looks like I’ve gone to the salon and had a shiny smoothing treatment put on. It really works well to add shine and smooth out my hair.Unfortunately, the scent really bothers me. It actually makes me a bit queasy when I use this.I’ve also used the Moroccan Infusion shampoo by Suave and I have the same problem with the scent. It must be the Moroccan oil my tummy can’t handle in the early mornings.I’m bummed because I really love how this conditioner and the shampoo makes my hair feel and look. I just can not get past the scent.
I felt like it didn’t do anything to my hair and it left a film that I hate in my hair. Not my fave Suave product.
I have used this along with the Suave Moroccan Infusion shampoo. I find that the Moroccan Oil in the Suave products smooths and shines my frizzed dry hair better than anything else. I do like this product a lot. My stylist uses Moroccan Oil on my hair as she blows it out and my hair has never looked so good. This is an excellent conditioner, and my hair stands up to the humidity here in south Florida without frizzing when I use this. It has a delicate scent, and is very reasonably priced.Suave is known as an inexpensive brand that performs as well or better than other, higher priced brands. With their Professionals Moroccan line of products they continue their tradition of offering high quality hair products at reasonable prices.
Light conditioning works best with shampoo of same name
I received this in conjunction withSuave Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Shampoo, 28 Ounce(see that review for 7 day test trial with both products), as part of the Amazon Vine reviewer program. I’ve used many Suave Professionals products in the past, and enjoy their overall quality and performance. This product promises shiny, conditioned hair, with best results obtained by using it with the shampoo – according to the bottle. After using both products, and no other products on my color treated hair (I useL’Oreal Paris Excellence Creme, Triple Protection Color Crème , Mocha Ash Brown, Level 3 , 1 Applicationexclusively for color treating my hair approximately once every 8-12 weeks with next coloring due at the end of this 7 day test with this product), which is thick and streaked with gray, I give it 3 out of 5 stars (just OK).This conditioner is fairly thin (the shampoo is much thicker) and according to the bottle you are to leave it on your hair following shampooing for 1-3 minutes. Like the shampoo, it smells very good (not as heavy a scent as the shampoo) and didn’t iritate my scalp in any way. I left it on my hair for 3 minutes and rinsed for 30 seconds following using the shampoo of the same name.My hair was easy to comb through, and appeared well conditioned, even a bit greasy. I let it air dry about 50%, and then used my blow dryer on medium heat to dry it to 90% before using my flat iron. No other products were used besides the two Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color products, and I’d been using the shampoo without conditioner for two days prior to testing this product.I found that the conditioner didn’t leave a greasy residue when dry – which was a relief! My hair was very soft to the touch, however fly-aways were all over the place. I didn’t notice my hair having any more shine than before using this product, but I will continue to use the two in conjunction for 7 days in a row without color treating or using other products just in case it takes time to get there.I will update my review after the 7 day trial to share any observations. Right now, I’m not terribly impressed with this product’s performance on my hair. This Suave product is not bad, and it’s not good. All things considered, other than my hair being notiicably softer to the touch and having lots more fly-aways, there’s barely a perceptible change.I’ve used argan oil spray and other shampoos with argan oil in them, and noticed a taming of my naturally curly locks, however this conditioner seems to be weak in this area, but over the long haul may be good for maintaining color treated hair.Time will tell. Stay tuned…UPDATE: 1/8/12 – I’ve used the conditioner withSuave Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Shampoo, 28 Ounceand my hair is noticably shiny, softer and has few flyaways. I’m impressed by the way the combination of the shampoo and conditioner work together, but the products separately are just so-so.If you want to reap the benefits of this product, get both the shampoo and conditioner and use them together ‘for best results’ as it says on the bottle.
Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner
Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner. Perfect. No complaints. Suave is a trusted name brand that I’ve been using all my life.If you use color, I would highly recommend this conditioner. I love conditioner. I love to pamper myself. I don’t know what I’d do without my conditioner.Highly recommended. You can always trust Suave.
Shampoo and conditioner combo work well on my thick hair
I dye my hair a very dark brown color each month to help cover the grey hairs I’ve been plagued with since my early 20’s. Because I use a dark hair color, when it starts to fade, it’s very noticeable. After years of trying different shampoos, I’ve found that ones that are formulated to help retain hair color, really do help some. It’s not going to keep your hair color from fading at all, but it does fade it less than shampoos not formulated in the same way. Before trying out this shampoo and conditioner, I was using Pantene shampoo and Garnier Fructis conditioner. My hair is quite thick and currently pretty long, and I try to find hair care products that help keep my hair smooth and easy to manage. If I use something that helps retain my hair color and doesn’t provide any kind of smoothing or shine, my hair becomes dried out and frizzy. So I was eager to see how my hair would look after using this Suave Moroccan Infusion Color Care shampoo and conditioner. Neither have a lot of color or scent. The conditioner has a sweet scent that’s unlike any other hair product I’ve used. The shampoo has a very mild scent, that’s also unusual. More of a soap or mild perfume smell, than the typical citrus or floral scent. The shampoo bottle opens from the top, and the conditioner bottle opens from the bottom. So even though they look very similar, when the bottle are setting beside each other, you can easily tell which bottle it which by how they open. After using them on my hair, the first thing I noticed was that it was a bit easier to run my brush through my hair while it was wet. So the Suave conditioner made my hair less tangley after washing than my Garnier Fructis conditioner. After drying my hair, I was quite pleased with how it looked and felt. It was smooth and reminded me of the was one of my favorite shampoos makes my hair look, Pantene Ice Shine. I would normally always use the Ice Shine shampoo, but it doesn’t help hold in my dark hair dye. So I’m very pleased to find that this gives my hair the same look and feel as I get when I use my Pantene Ice Shine, but with the hair color protection as well. So while it might not have bright colors and bold fragrances like some brands use, the shampoo and conditioner do work very well.
This conditioner and its companion shampoo are formulated with argan oil as well as coconut and sweet almond oils. They promise to add shine in addition to their other functions. The conditioner has a pleasing texture and aroma. The scent is lush and floral with perhaps undertones of vanilla and coconut. The bottle is comfortable to handle and the product easy to dispense. The directions say to leave on for one to three minutes before rinsing. I found this conditioner rinsed out easily and cleanly. The results? My hair was noticeably silky and manageable with a pleasing sheen. I can’t say that my hair was shinier or that the color was more vibrant. But still, it served well as a detangler and conditioner. I have fine, wavy hair and I did think it seemed straighter but it still had good body.Suave products are on a par with the major name brands at a lesser cost. This is a worthy entry and I recommend it.
Does the Job
TheSuave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Shine Conditioner 28 ozis a solid product. It conditions well (you only need a small amount), and helps protect colored hair. It has a pleasant exotic floral scent. The Moroccan in the name is because it is made with argan oil, which is extracted from seeds of the North African Argan tree. Argan oil is both edible and has many uses in cosmetics, skin treatment and hair care products. It has exploded on the market, but time will tell whether that is sustainable or not.
Suave, Smooth and…….Superior
OK, so before I review this conditioner, what’s in it?The ingredient List:
• Cetearyl Alcohol
• Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine
• Hydrogenated Coconut Oil
• Behentrimoium Chloride
• Mineral Oil
• Lactic Acid
• Potassium Chloride
• Disodium EDTA
• Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil
• DMDM Hydantoin
• Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil
• Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate
• Methylisothiazolinone. This is a 28 ounce bottle and the price is extremely competitive. Although the marketing is geared toward the product having argan oil, that item is far down on the list of ingredients (Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil). I would not let that dissuade you though. There is a suitable amount of oils in this conditioner, between the coconut oil, mineral oil, almond oil, and argan. The fragrance is noticeable, but pleasant, fairly light and unobtrusive. It is not flowery, more perfumey/sweet.I would not over-use the product, as a little goes a long way. Like many conditioners, a dab or so is ample, properly worked into the hair. Also if you are using this product after its sister product, Suave’s Moroccan Infusion Shampoo, the shampoo itself contains most of the same oils which help condition the hair. The shampoo lacks only the mineral oil contained in this product, while including Cocamidopropyl betaine, a coconut oil derivative. The sweet almond oil is a nice ingredient for conditioning, as it tends to lend sheen to the hair.I did not find that this product builds up or mats down hair, nor does it leave hair greasy looking or feeling. It really is a nice product. We’ve tried it on thin hair, color treated/”damaged” hair, straight and curly hair in our family, and it seems to work well on various hair types. If your hair is color treated, or susceptible to frizz, you probably will really enjoy this conditioner. I would rank it up there performance-wise with many higher-priced products. It really is a nice conditioner at a superb price point.
Great conditioner – moisturizing yet light/clean
I’m a little picky about conditioner. My hair is slightly oily, but is also very coarse and can be dried out easily by many shampoos… a lot of conditioners tend to gunk my hair up with residue while still leaving hair sort of frizzy after washing. I need a conditioner that will moisturize my coarse hair after a wash, but not leave it gunked up as my scalp will put out its own natural moisturizer fairly quickly.I’ve been usingNeutrogena Clean Replenishing Conditioner, 10.1 Ounce (Pack of 2)which works great, but got this new stuff to test through Vine.I must say — it works great. After it dried (towel / air dry), my hair felt light and smooth, almost feathery… but not frizzy. This is good conditioner for my hair type. My only negative comment is that the scent is somewhat cloying. I’m a guy and don’t like that sort of heavy incense-y sorta scent hanging around in my hair.
Keeps your Color Vibrant
Don’t let the word “oil” scare you away, this stuff is amazing. In my experience, the key to long lasting color is keeping your hair properly conditioned and this product does that beautifully. I alternate withSuave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Deep Conditioning Shine Mask, 8 Ounceand my color lasted about 2 weeks longer than what I usually get out of a box of Clairol. I live in South Florida so fading is a huge problem that Suave seems to have fixed. It does not weigh my hair down and the shine is incredible. Suave is known for affordable, quality hair care and even though this cost a fraction of salon products, it is on the higher end of Suave’s price point.
I got this conditioner to go along with the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Shampoo. I love the combination of the two together – I feel as if I am getting a better infusion if I am both shampooing and conditioning with the same. I have to say that my hair does look more shiny than ever before and it feels just wonderful. The scent is very nice, not overpowering but strong enough to linger a little while after your hair is dry. I like that a lot. I want a scent that is noticeable but not too much. I love that my hair doesn’t feel greasy after using this. I already have oily hair to begin with so I refuse to use anything that adds to that. Also, with Suave, you can’t beat the price for the outstanding quality you get! Seriously, why pay more??
This conditioner is nice and thick. It is not watered down and runny. It left my hair feeling soft and well conditioned, probably because one of the main ingredients is a silicone. I have curly, colored hair and I like silicone based products so this conditioner worked well for me. It has a perfumey kind of scent but it was not too overpowering.
Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner
I have owned other Moroccan products with Argan oil in them, not really KNOWING what that exactly is…I sure like the odd scent they have. Its very spicy and somehow moody…that’s a hard one to explain! Anyway, I liked the product, it left my hair feeling softer and lightly scented. Even though I do have white hair I do put a bleaching product on it to keep the odd shades like yellow from cropping up. I think this is a good product that not only left my hair feeling and smelling better, but with a light shine and no greasy after feel.
Soft, Shiny Hair But We Had to Stop Because of Allergies
I’ve been using Organix Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner Set ($20 for 13 oz of each) and my thin, fine hair has never been softer or shinier.I expected this conditioner to work fine because the ingredients were similar to those in Organix and I was not disappointed. As long as I rinse really well, my hair looks and feels great all day. This product costs only 20 percent of what I was paying for the Organix with the same results. So I will switch.Addendum: both my daughter and I had to stop using any product with argan oil after we developed an allergy that started with a rash on our scalp and forehead and moved down our faces. The dermatologist prescribed a very expensive ointment but I never purchased it and the rash went away for both of us shortly after we stopped using the shampoo. I hate that because it really did make my hair look good.
Pretty Nice Conditioner
I liked this conditioner. It was nicely scented and creamy. I applied it after I washed my hair with Suave Morocan Infusion Shampoo and left it in my hair for no more than 5 minutes. I rinsed my hair in lukewarm water thoroughly and air dried it. The end results were nice. My hair seemed softer and silkier. This won’t replace my deep conditioner, but it did leave my hair looking healthy and moist without being greasy or over conditioned.
Inexpensive, yet works well for my hair type
I originally bought this at my local brick & mortar store because I had a free coupon. I like to switch up my hair care products every so often because I feel like my hair gets “used” to one and needs a change to bring it back. My hair type is mid-back length, naturally curly and colored. I only shampoo twice a week to keep it from drying out and getting frizzy, but I condition every day. Because of this I need a conditioner that rinses clean, but leaves my hair soft and easy to manage. TheSuave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditionerdoes this pretty well. I don’t feel like I’m left with residue after showering, but it’s still soft enough to brush through when wet without tangling. The scent is nice and the bottle size is a good value for the price. Overall it’s a product that I am happy with and that I will continue to use in rotation with several others.
Suave’s Professional Moroccan Infusion Conditioner feels gummy to me, and doesn’t work very well with my hair. I absolutely love the Moroccan Infusion shampoo that is my favorite shampoo by far. The conditioner doesn’t do much for me. The shampoo alone is so good, I don’t need conditioner. When I apply the conditioner, I don’t like the gummy feeling. It doesn’t go on as smoothly as I’d like. And it doesn’t seem to do much to my hair.Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Shampoo 28 oz
Love the Whole Line!
I had been using the Suave Moroccan Infusion – Shine and loved it but I had just got my hair colored so I decided to try the Color Care from the Moroccan Infusion line. The Color Care has that same nice spicy scent that the rest of the Suave Moroccan Infusion products do. It’s the kind of scent that you would expect with a Moroccan Infusion. They’ve done a really nice job with the scent because with me, spicy scents can go either way but I love this one. The scent really seems to linger too. I catch my husband sniffing my hair. The conditioner really softens my hair. I use the Suave Moroccan Styling Oil too but my hair is so incredibly soft after just the conditioner that I probably don’t even need it.My hair looks so great with the products from the Moroccan Infusion line that I’ve never had better results with anything else I’ve ever used. I am pawning off all my other hair products on my other family members because I don’t want to use anything else.
OK conditioner not for wavy hair
My hair is wavy even a little curly and I actually like it wavy. This conditioner makes your hair easy to comb but it straightens my hair somewhat which I don’t like. It is a little heavy like even after rinsing. I will give it to my kid to use but I don’t want it. I guess the oil makes it heavier and makes my hair kind of limp. The scent is pretty nice and it is creamy, easy to use. I did not notice any extra shine either. I would imagine this would be good for those that want their hair straight maybe. It just isn’t a good conditioner for me.
Nice Companion To Suave’s Color Care Shampoo …
“Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” is a very reasonably priced conditioner that promises to enhance shine and keep color vibrant. My hair was soft following my use of this conditioner and its companion shampoo, but it had no more sheen than usual.Additionally, Suave has provided an intelligently designed container for this conditioner. The base is also the dispensing end. Because conditioners are thicker than shampoos, the design allows one to obtain the correct amount of conditioner without excessive shaking or squeezing. And, because the companion shampoo and “Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” containers are identical – except for the labeling – in size, shape, and color, the design prevents mix-ups for those of us who do not see well without corrective lenses.Fine, straight hair may become more dry and brittle as one matures; “enhancing” one’s color, even with an ammonia-free product, can exacerbate this problem. Following the use of “Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” I still had a number of flyaway and stray hairs which detracted from the surface smoothness of my hair.My color was no more vibrant than it was following my use of other brands of color care shampoos and conditioners. Whether or not “Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” helps keep your color vibrant will depend on whether you use a permanent or semi-permanent coloring product; how frequently you wash your hair; whether your color has red tones which tend to wash out more quickly; and the amount of time you spend in the sun which can fade color.A small amount of “Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” was all that was needed; I used less than a tablespoon. This conditioner is not quite as thick as some other brands of conditioner. My hair felt light and very soft after using this conditioner; there was no indication that it would quickly become “greasy” in appearance. This product has a light fragrance that is difficult to identify; it is not floral, nor is it spicy. The scent rinsed out well and was not as evident once my hair had been styled.I liked “Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner” as a reasonably priced every day conditioner. I am awarding it 4 stars.
Leaves hair smooth and soft.
I’ve been using this conditioner and the shampoo of the same product line for a couple of weeks now and I like it. I use about a quarter-sized dollop of product on my wet shoulder-length fine, dry hair after shampooing. It seems to penetrate quickly so I don’t have to leave it on for a long time to get the moisturizing effect. It smells vaguely musky but is not overpowering.I do color my hair at home using a variety of products, and that process leaves my hair a bit more dry than usual. Add to it the fact that it is winter and that results in my hair needing some intensive care and moisture. I want clean, soft, smooth hair without static or flyaway ends. Also don’t want a greasy look that you sometimes can get using products made for processed hair. This conditioner works well for me and I am happy with the way my hair looks and feels.I like it and would buy it again.
I’ve used a lot of Suave conditioners over the years and my biggest complaint has always been that it takes 2-3 times as much product to get the same result I get from other brands, so the value is lost. This is not the case with this product! The first time I used it, I used what I would consider a normal amount for Suave conditioner and it was WAY too much! Now, I’m at a point where I use a very small amount of this conditioner and am getting great results. Even though this is more expensive that many of the other Suave conditioning products, I will definitely be buying it again because a little goes a long way! I’m not sure what the difference is. I don’t actually know what Moroccan argan oil is, but maybe that’s it!As for the color care aspect, I honestly have yet to find a shampoo or conditioner that I feel impacts the length of color. The same is true with this product.
Good, inexpensive conditioner.
I will admit I was never a fan of Suave hair care products, but Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner isn’t bad at all. Like all Suave products, it is priced less than most conditioners. Unlike most Suave products, this conditioner does a decent job. It has a moderate, pleasant scent. Unlike some conditioners, it makes my hair soft without being greasy.Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Color Care Conditioner is a just a good, inexpensive conditioner, and I recommend it.
Yummy Smell but…
I have very long and very over-processed hair. I needed something that would tame the ends until I can get a trim. I also wanted to see a little shine that you don’t normally have when you dye your hair. I used this with my normal shampoo so I could see how it did alone. It left mt hair while I was still in the shower, feeling glorious, soft and sleek. It had a mild aroma.I dried my hair with an electric dryer and saw no difference in my ends. They were NOT any smoother or shinier. However, the smell stayed lovely and the next day my hair looked better than it usually does (no bed-head) and didn’t seem so fly-away.So yes, this product gives you a yummy smell for your hair (NOT an over-whelming one) but no extra shine or better texture.
