Great Product – Slightly Highly Priced
Check out the ingredients in this bath salt mix. They are all natural and of the many oils, the lavandula seems to be the most prevalent. However, it is a soft, non-overbearing scent and helps relax you. The container has 16-ounces and recommends about 2 ounces per bathing. That’s only eight baths, but you don’t been much as the ingredients are plentiful and concentrated. Some bath salts don’t relax or release toxins from your system as much as one might like. VITAE does a great job.I was curious about the white flakes that floated about in the water, so I rinsed afterward. Not all the materials completely dissolved. The price is also rather high. But having used many bath salts, I’d place this near the top of the list. San Francisco Sea Salt Company Bath Slats are also very good and in larger quantities, but I found this just as good if not for the smaller container. Product supplied for a fair and honest review.
Great for relaxing, not so much for pain
While using my Vi Tae Lavender Soap I soaked in the Pain Pain Go Away. I love that the ingredients used in the bath salts are all natural and of the many oils, the lavandula seems to be the most prevalent. However, it is a soft, non-overbearing scent and helps relax you. The container has 16-ounces and recommends about 2 ounces per bathing which is only eight baths of using this product. I did notice that unlike typical bath salts, these salts had white flakes sort of floating around the tub. Not all the materials had completely dissolved. I’m not sure if this is normal or due to the fact we have hard water or what, but it wasn’t a big deal to me.After doing some exercising and jumping around with my infant son (he was in his door jumper and I was jumping in front of him letting him have a good laugh), the back of my legs were sore. Obvisouly this isn’t an exercise or activity I do often so I used some muscles. So during my bath I was hoping to gain relief from the sore muscles. While bathing I felt much better and enjoyed the aroma and all around feeling. Unfortunately when I got out the tub though my muscles were still sore. So while I wouldn’t recommend the bath salts for a pain reliever, I would recommend them for relaxation purposes.
Worked for Tight / Sore Muscles
I’m not usually a bath taker. But I will occassionally take a bath when I have muscle cramps or sore muscles. Recently, I had a pulled muscle in my lower leg and wanted to work it out to I took a bath with these salts in it. The smell was very strong and at first I wasn’t a fan but after a while it worked to relax me a bit. The salt worked well with the water and did help with the sore muscle. Two things hold me back from a five star rating: 1) the salts didn’t fully dissolve. There were little white floating things all over the place in the water – even after about 20 minutes of soaking. No big deal, but it required a rinse off and a washing out of the tub. 2) after the bath my skin had a distinct oily feel to it that didn’t rinse off right away. I know some would like the oil to soak in and enjoy the smoothness of your skin afterwards. For me, I’d have preferred an less oily finish.Overall, I’m happy with this product and I believe it did work to relax and work out my muscles.A sample of this product was provided by the manufacturer for review.
Makeas me feel like jelly when I get out of the tub. I generally use this fir my aching back. Love the aroma as well.
Take It Easy smells like a lovely spa. I think every spa I have ever been to smells like this. Lavender and chamomile are part of the story – I just can’t put my finger on the other smells. This is an every night soak in the tub bath salt. This is a strange bath salt. Most pure salts dissolve completely and quickly. The main crystals do dissolve quickly and give off that lovely aroma. There are these odd little white flakes that aren’t soluble in my water (my water is on the hard side of soft – Lake Michigan water). There aren’t many of them. They crush easily, so they don’t leave white speaks on your skin. And they drain easily out of my tub. Frankly, they look like the white snow in a snow globe.Snow globe flakes aside, I really like these bath salts.I was provided a review sample.
The aroma of this product is lovely. I have a Jacuzzi tub and adding this to my water is heavenly. However, no matter what temperature water I use, I can not get the crystals to completely melt. Perhaps they are not supposed to? This could be because I use a water softener with my well water.I did relax a lot while using this and my skin felt wonderful when I got out of the tub. The aroma of lavender, bitter orange and other ‘green’ scents is a unique one.
Take It Easy Stress Reducing Dead Sea Bath Salts
A good soak in a hot bath is relaxing, but another benefit of adding Dead Sea salt to the water rests with the mineral make-up of the compound. For example, among the assortment of minerals contained in the salts, magnesium and potassium are said to aid skin moisture.Take it Easy is also infused with a variety of essential oils — lavender, citrus leaf, sage and chamomile oils. Nothing else is added – no chemicals, artificial fragrances or colors – it is pure and simple. The fragrance is heavenly wafting up from a steamy hot bath, and the herbal components, from an aromatherapy perspective, are all clearly chosen to aid in stress relief and promote relaxation and suitable for both men and women. At the end of a tough day, it is a small indulgence. And, it may not be life altering, but I find it definitely improves both my skin and my well-being. Sample provided by Vi-Tae without obligation.
Vi-Tae Take It Easy Dead Sea Bath Salts – 16 oz (about 2.25 cups) – Natural – Soothing product with nice fragrance
We have tried many different types of sea salts, and absolutely feel that these are bath salts done right. The container we received was tightly packed with salts and contained more than our two-cup measuring cup could hold (my conservative estimate is 2.25 cups, but it may have been a bit more). When used in a bath, the fragrance of these salts is very nice — a combination of lavender and mint — not overly lavender like others have been. The container is professionally produced; unlike others we have tried, no ink runs when the label gets wet and the darker container protects the salts from the sunlight streaming through our bathroom windows. Highly recommended. To test this product, I used them last night after a long retail sales day. Following directions on the package, just 1/4 of a cup of the salts was used, and that was all that was needed. Soaking in the bath with these salts left me feeling relaxed and de-stressed from the day, and I look forward to using them again. My husband liked the result too as he said it left my body feeling smooth and silky… and that was nice. The canister’s ingredients list indicates that this is a wonderfully natural item. If you would like to see pictures that I took of canister, ingredients list and the salts, go back to the salts’ main sales page, scroll down to where the “Most Helpful Customer Reviews” section starts, then look to the right of that area for the “Product Images From Customers” section. I took a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.I am not a fan of heavy lavender scents like you sometimes get with candles, air fresheners and even some body washes. However, these salts have a gentle lavender & mint fragrance that is very nice, natural, and not overbearing. Even an hour or so afterwards our master bathroom had a nice hint of these salts in the air.Good Mediterranean salts are not cheap; at today’s Amazon sales price, the 1/4 cup per application use, and about nine applications in our container, the per-bath cost comes to about $3.50. For bath salts of this quality that is extremely reasonable. If the seller decided to offer larger containers (like in 32 or 64 ounces), that might bring the buyer’s per-use cost further down and I know that I would be all-in!The Amazon sales page notes that there is a “money back guarantee extended for 1 year”. That is interesting for this type of consumable product; if an issue arises before that period expires I will return here to update the review and let you know what the issue was and how resolution was handled. We did receive this product gratis from the manufacturer and have put it through the paces to objectively find out how well it performed. My statements here reflect that testing.Bottom-line: I like these natural sea salts. Their fragrance is very nice and that the salts were soothing. Based on our experience with this product, if you are looking for sea salts of this quality, for use as described above, then I recommend these salts to you for similar use.Recommended. Go for it!
A Great Way To Pamper Yourself
I don’t always have time to take a long relaxing bath, but I refuse to get calluses on my feet! This has lead me to giving myself a pedicure about once a week and I’ve tried all kinds of products to make this process easier. Well, Vi-Tae, you won my heart with your product line, but especially this one. Yes, I tried the Listerine/Vinegar Foot Soak (look on YouTube for those who are not familiar with what I’m referring to), and it works okay, but if you use anything other than original (yellow/gold colored) Listerine it turns your feet green, the menthol feels cold (I’m not really a fan of cold water, I live in Florida), and then of course you go around smelling like vinegar for a few hours. Not only that, but the homemade soak didn’t really work wonders for me, even after trying to remove the calluses for 10 mins. I’ve tried coconut oil, Callus creams, epsom salts, the list goes on and on. Fast forward to last night and my experience with Vi-Tae’s Aromatherapy Dead Sea Salts, which are a tiny wonder in a 16 oz. plastic jar. I filled up the sink with warm water, put my feet in, added about 1/8 of a cup of the salts and waited for the salts to dissolve. They never really did dissolve completely, but the foot soak smelled fantastic (like lavender, sage, and wintergreen). After about 15 mins I got out my OPI foot file and within two minutes had baby soft feet… that was easy! I’ve tried many products for foot soaks over the years, but none have worked as well as this one. Hands down, this is the best, and I’m so glad I have it in my medicine cabinet.
Relaxing, Soothing, Wonderful Smelling
This is a wonderful smelling soaking salt. It has lavender, citrus, sage oil, aurantium leaf oil, artemesia oil and chamomile oil.I am especially thrilled that it is made in the USA. And it’s all natural- NO artificial ingredients!Just a 1/4 cup of this in a warm bath and you are ready for a relaxing soak.If you love soaking in the tub to relax, you will want this aromatherapy sea salt.
