Spectrum Extra Virgin Organic and Garden of Life Organic coconut oils are far superior to this. Amazon indicates it comes in a jar, but it does not. It’s plastic. I would recommend this oil for body therapy only.

i love that it comes in a 2 pack. i keep one in my kitchen for cooking and one in my bathroom for skin and hair care. For cooking, i use this oil in barley, rice dishes, lentils, smoothies, coffee, marinade…ect. when my package arrived i was so excited to try it out that i took a scoup and added it to the lentils i had made the day before and a little himalayan pink salt…DELICIOUS!!! In my bathroom, i use it on my hair and skin. it makes a great night cream moisturizer. also, i use it on my feet with vegitable glycerin and put my fuzzy socks on, my feet are super smooth. for my hair, i have thick/frizzy/curly dry hair, and i’ll put some in my hair (and then braid it) as an overnight treatment & in the morning my hair is smooth and there is no frizz. I also use a little as a styling product to keep my hair from frizzing out. i’m sure there are many more uses for coconut oil, and i cant wait to learn them all!! Source naturals is a brand that i have used in the past and have found many of there products to be high quality. for the price you cant beat it.

extremely healthy, great product

I use coconut oil for everything, cold pressed extra virgin. Its very healthy, much healthier then most other oils you can use. Source naturals is a very good brand, and their oil is delicious and healthy. The solid color on the container is great for keeping it safe and fresh. The price is right too, 2 jars for a good price. Its a staple in our household. :)We’re an Indian/American house hold. Coconut oil is amazing, and has about a million uses. We use this one for all of them. Don’t be fooled! its not just for food. We use it for a hair oil and also for the skin, it makes your skin and hair nice and soft. We’ve also discovered, for ease, you can just poke a tiny hole in the lid, and pour it, if your home is above 70 degrees F (melting point of coconut oil) or just scoop it out in its solid state with a spoon! 🙂 delish. 🙂

Nice aroma, very pure, feels great.

Although I have used coconut oil as a dietary supplement, I tend to use it more for my skin and as a moisturizer after a shower. I compare this to oil that I imported directly from the Philippines and this is really pretty fresh comparatively. I had thought of bringing oil into the states in 2004 and re-branding it but have seen a huge amount of new labels out there. I like the plastic jar, this doesn’t bother me.This brand over some others has a fresh coconut scent (think Mounds candy bar) and I liked that a lot. Some of the others I have used in the past don’t have the nice, coconut smell. This is a great deal and actually, my cats love it too as a dietary supplement. No constipated cats and their fur is soft as can be. I’ve been happy with this brand. No problems.

This is my first experience using coconut oil and I’m so glad I tried it. VERY good for sauteeing anything. And I used it instead of butter to make my favorite scones and they were great….I couldn’t tell the difference. The only thing that I may hesitate to use it for is fried eggs…can’t wrap my head around that, but I will probably try it. I thought it was worth the extra money to get the two smaller jars. I also bought the 56oz big one Amazon offers (can’t remember the brand but it was also EV) for $20 and will use it to refill these.

Extra Virgin Coconut oil

I use a lot of coconut oil for cooking – it doesn’t burn as easily as vegetable oil and the fats in it are healthy for our hearts. It also doesn’t go rancid even after years sitting in the pantry.I also use it for body and hair moisturizing – it does a great job on dry, cracked hands and feet, and a tablespoon rubbed into my hair and left overnight leaves it shiny and soft when I shampoo in the morning.Source Natural coconut oil is a great brand. It’s not as expensive as some I’ve tried, but it is every bit as good. It has a nice coconut flavor without any grit or specks in it, and it melts easily at body temperature.I’ll buy this brand again when I finish it. With Amazon’s SuperSaver free shipping this is a good bargain for a great product.
