Pretty good buy
I haven’t had acne in years, but the stress of graduating college, moving, planning a wedding, remodeling a house, etc. caused a major, major outbreak. I had both regular acne and cystic acne all on my cheeks and jawline. It was getting to be very painful and hard to deal with. I didn’t want to keep touching my face, so I bought this tool to help extract some white and black heads from the areas.Overall it is a really nice tool for the cost. It’s sturdy, made with quality metal, and after a few weeks of use and rinsing under hot water shows no signs of wear or rusting, etc.The only gripe I have with it is that most of the time the large hole is TOO large and the small hole is TOO small.
This may work for some people but for me an average white 40 year old male it doesn’t do anything for me. I have blackheads on my nose like many people do. This device doesn’t help extract them. You push down into your skin and in some areas it is soft so it hurts. Nothing comes out – either hole, the large or small. I guess if you use on your forehead or a big zit with a white head then maybe this will work but nothing beats a good pinch with your fingers – although this may not be the best for your skin.
Yay it works!!!
I too was looking to replace the discontinued Revlon version of this blackhead remover and this is a comparable! For those who aren’t having luck with this device it really helps to exfoliate or use a facial scrub and/or steaming open the pores before using this.I was able to remove blackheads that I wasn’t able to remove by any other methods with this remover (biore skin strips, loop removers, manually by hand). I am about to purchase more of these just in case this becomes discontinued. It took years for me to stumble upon this.
I love this product!!! It works perfect!!!! Easy to use and light weight. No instruction comes with the product. But it is no problem., You will figure out how to use it easily. Highly recommended!
This product worked everytime I used it. Love it. You do need a powerful magnifying mirror with illumination to really center the product correctly. Results are totally based upon the user. If you know what you are doing, it does work. If you do NOT know what you are doing, don’t waste your money.
Works well in the shower, #steam
I purchased this product nearly 10 months ago and had nearly forgotten about it until I had a horribly large and impossible to move blackhead located in a difficult to reach place on my nose. I brushed the dust off this tool and went to work. I recommend using this tool while in the shower, once there is plenty of steam to have your pores completely open. Once that occurs, I simply placed one of the holes over the blackhead and pressed gently. I was amazed at how easily it forced the blackhead to come out! I think this tool is perfect for blackheads that appear in hard-to-reach places, such as around the creases of the nose. To clean I dab it in benzoyl peroxide, then run it through the dishwasher for one cycle. The only con with this product is it doesn’t come with instructions or tips, but I guess the manufacturer just assumes how to use it is common sense.
I think it will be okay
I tried it on a few acne lesions without any success. But I just got it, so it might be helpful on certain lesions, in particular areas of the face. I will write an update when I know more, but my first impression is that the ones with a very fine head are probably best–also expensive. I tried the Sklar Schamberg extra-fine comedone extractor (one my sister has), and it worked very well. It’s $23.85, though, and it doesn’t show shipping info.
Ok, that’s it
Not amazing, not wonderful. not even great–just an ok product. I am still searching the market for a better tool after purchasing this.
Waste of money
I think this tool is almost useless. It doesn’t work as well as fingernails and is actually more painful to use.
The holes in this are too small to be useful. It is also a bit oddly shaped to get any pressure to remove anything. This is not a good blackhead remover.
I was hoping this would be more effective than it turned out to be. It works well on large pimples, but that’s about it. Didn’t really work at all for black heads or clogged pores. I still have it, just in case, but rarely use it.
Very sturdy, i like the fact that is has two hole sizes. I bought it to use on my son’s back for blackheads it got job done
Seki Edge Blackhead Remover
I like this products everything so easy to use it.I wish it come with a case to carry it.
Sturdy, works as expected
This is a great blackhead remover, it’s a lot like an old Revlon model I had a long time ago that they quit making. I find this style to be more effective than the type with the loop on the end. It lifts whiteheads and blackheads easily and helps blemishes heal faster.
works better than the loop
I don’t think this is too large as other reviewers says, it feels perfect on the hand and works great. I can’t squeeze all the blackheads but most of it. It’s also very important to use after showering or cleaning the face with hot water or steam. Good quality. I had one with a loop a few years ago and I feel this one works better, loops leave marks and scars on the face.
Does the trick
I wanted a regular, old fashioned blackhead remover and this one works perfectly. Sometimes it is hard to remove blackheads in certain areas of the face due to different thickness of the skin or the deepness of the pore. This works wonderfully.
Does the job!
I had one of these decades ago and am pleased to have one again. For stubborn blackheads, this Seki blackhead remover gets the job done.
I thought it would be better…..doesn’t seem to work as well as I had hoped. 🙁 So tragic!! I guess I’ll have to buy another type.
Doesn’t work for me…
I had a hard time getting anything out of the blackheads even though I’m sure I’m using this properly. I was pressing so hard that I really felt like it would damage my skin. I’m a very small person and perhaps this tool is too large. I will keep it for legitimate pimples, though, it should work better for that than a loop extractor.
