I wish I was as impressed as the people that have previously reviewed this product. I have used almost a 1 oz bottle of product over the year and this is inferior to Moroccan Oil. It is heavy and does not leave my hair as healthy, soft, and manageable as Moroccan Oil. I have two more bottles of this product that I am going to give away to my daughters. Just my two cents – maybe it depends on your hair type. I have thick, semi-wavy, prone to frizz hair that can never be air-dried or it will turn into a poof of hair with barely a curl, passed my shoulders in length. I miss all of the compliments I would receive when I used Moroccan Oil. I am still using the same shampoo – Pureology.
Effective and Light!
I received this as a bonus with the purchase of a flat iron, so decided to give it a try. I really didn’t expect much, but WOW, this stuff is amazing! It not only gives a smooth, (not greasy) finished look when applied before flat-ironing my hair, but also works great for rebellious, frizzy strands of hair when not flat-ironing my hair as well, such as when I just want to pull it all back into a pony tail, without weighing my hair down or making it look oily. This Sedu Anti-Frizz Polishing Treatment is very light, but very effective and something I will buy again before my bottle runs out. Because a little goes a long way, even with my elbow-length hair, it has lasted me almost a year using this about 3 or 4 times a week, and I still have over 1/4 of this bottle left. I’ve tried a lot of different anti-frizz products over the years, but this is the best I’ve come across. For those of you who are sensitive to strong odors/scents, I find this product’s scent to be very light and pleasant. I highly recommend this!
Sedu argan oil
Really good, works really well. Have a great smell and leave my hair soft and shine. My daughter have a dry hair and she loved as well and now I’m purchasing one for her.
Best Anti-Frizz treatment for curly frizzy hair
I live in Florida and I have thick curly and mature, colored & damaged hair. Nothing has ever made my hair behave as well as this. I have tried many products expecting this to be no different. I was so pleasantly pleased!!!! The best way to use this is on damp towel dried hair. Part and section hair. Apply to hands and "rake" through each section using as little product as possible and yet coating each section. I was shocked how silky, soft and well defined my curls were after this!!! I have always flat ironed my hair – but with this I feel I look professional enough to go curly!!! Saves me SO MUCH TIME in the morning now. Just wash, condition and treat hair and walk out the door wet, and hair will look great all day!!! I also combine it with GK Hair Taming System with Juvexin and a little Frizz Ease Curl Reviving Mouse when want even more definition and put my hair up and want to keep my curls segmented. I would assume this would be an excellent treatment for thick straight hair as well.
Best So Far
I have frizzy, baby fine hair, ranging from mid back to waist. This is the only "oil" product I can effectively use to flat iron my hair, leaving it shiny but never oily.
I love this product after every shower. Sometimes my hair can get brittle after a shower, but with this i don’t have to worry about it getting dry. It also helps with bed head, i don’t wake up with it using this before bed =p
Love, love, love this product for my wild, out-of-control hair. I will continue to buy this product as long as it is available.
so glad I gave this a second chance
It seems like lately, I pile on more and more hair products. I’m *almost* where I want to be, with frizz levels and softness, and I’ve really noticed a change in the last week. That change coincides with my starting back with this argan oil treatment from Sedu.I had put this to the side for awhile because I didn’t feel like argan oil was helping me much. For whatever reason, argan oil shampoos do NOT help me. But this stuff, applied on its own, is wonderful — good enough that I’ll buy more when I run out, even though it’s not cheap. With a lot of hair treatment products, I go through the bottles really fast. I have very long hair, so I just need more product than most people. However, this treatment is super easy to distribute throughout my hair, even when my hair is dry. I can actually feel it spreading around with my hands. It’s thin (compared to silicone treatments) but not watery/runny. Because of the consistency, I don’t need to use very much to get the effect I’m looking for. Sometimes I do work a bit more in at the ends, though. At any rate, the bottle should last me a very long time.I normally apply this to clean, dry hair that has already been brushed and detangled. I put a little in my palm, rub my hands together, and then run my hands over my hair. After that, I work it through my hair with a natural bristle brush. It does reduce frizz and flyaways (it’s winter here so it’s either dry outside with a lot of static electricity, or it’s rainy and I get frizz).Since outcomes with hair products vary by hair type, I figure I ought to add that I have waist-length, color-treated, Caucasian hair. I wear it straight and I do not blow dry. This does have a light fragrance, but I find it pleasant. And at any rate, the aroma doesn’t linger. If your hair is anything like mine and you’re struggling with frizz and flyaways, I’d strongly encourage you to give this a try.
