NOT colorstay

Recently I tried liquid, cream, and this colorstay foundation as an alternative to mineral makeup.BIG mistake.Liquid makeup provides NO coverage.Cream makeup was a little more coverage.I tried colorstay because it is supposed to last. This stuff rubbed off like any other makeup, even with primer. It washed off easily (reviews I’ve read all over say it’s sooo hard to wash off..BULL).It didn’t dry as quickly as some people least not for me.The shades seem to be off.It was terribly hard to blend and not look chalky like someone else said.Coverage was no better than cream or liquid makeup, even after applying several very light layers over problem areas. It just seemed like I was taking the makeup off.I returned this foundation and purchased another brand of mineral makeup called Everyday Minerals(LOVE IT!). The intensive collection offers more coverage (and LOTS of shades) than this foundation and feels like you’re wearing NOTHING. The price is way better than bare minerals (which I used for over a year and didn’t like because of the sheen and white look it gave my face) and avon minerals (my most recent mineral makeup before the venture into other foundations).

I love this foundation. I have used it for over 10 years. I have tried other types, but none give such a full coverage as this one. This color “Buff” has been my perfect color. I have extremely fair skin, but ivory and porcelain colored foundations have never quite been my right color. They are either a little too light, or just the wrong hue. But the next shade up was always too dark and looked wrong against my skin. Buff is the color you want if you cave a cool or neutral completion (not really warm) and you have fair skin. Would also work with a natural red-heads skin, even though there hair has a warmer tone, but the skin tone is usually light enough that it would be a good match.I would say this foundation is for anyone who is looking for either that porcelain, flawless skin look (texture, not color) or someone who has redness, blemishes, blotching or anything else they would like to hide. It is a thick makeup, that once applied and dried, gives a flawless appearance. This will cover every freckle on a persons face too if they have any.It is not going to come off until you are ready for it to. I have gone swimming many times wearing it and this stuff stays put. With that said, you will need soap and water to remove it. I also use a q-tip with a little soap on one end to remove the foundation from my lips and eye bows after I have applied it on my face. This makeup would have no problems staying on a sold 24 hours. No smudging, no oily feel, nothing. This makeup stays so well you could sleep in it and not get any on your pillows. Some things to keep in mind. When applying this makeup, keep the open bottle away from your clothing. I can not tell you how many times in the past, when I would be getting ready to go, I would lean over my sink to apply mascara and my shirt would touch the bottle of open makeup and get foundation on it. This will not just wipe off. You will need to immediately take of the article of clothing, apply some hand soap to it with a little water and scrub the area and then launder it. The makeup will wash out if you do so right away. Also the thicker the foundation is, the fresher it is. It will come out of the bottle a little faster once you have used some of it up. It can last easily 6 months without breaking down. But if you ever get a bottle where it looks runny and like oil has risen to the surface and the foundation has broken down, don’t use it. It’s been on a shelf somewhere for 2 years.*Tip: My favorite combination for having an absolutely perfect and flawless porcelain look is this foundation, combined with an Avon pressed powder (has a great smooth coverage) and using “Bisque” by Bare Essentials. Bisque is an amazing powder concealer that works like nothing else out there. It has maximum concealing abilities, without looking like your caking on makeup to cover a blemish! With these 3 items, you work all day, go out all night or take care of a set of 9 year old twins (like me lol) and look flawless, even with a difficult completion.

I love this stuff

I heard about this product on and sooo many people reviewed it so I just had to purchase it and give it a try for myself. I am a woman of color and have a hard time finding any product to match my complexion. I bought this product in Toast 370… and I cannot believe how accurately it matches my skin tone. I love this product. If you want that perfect airbrush look I would definitely recommend this product to you. I’ve tried hundreds like Loreal True Match, Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and I was content with all but never fully satisfied, I can honestly say that I finally found a product that goes and blends well with my skin tone. I am in lovvveee with this make up!

My go-to foundation

This is my go-to foundation and has been since I first tried it. The coverage is good without being overdone.

Maybe for the winter or fall

I bought this product a couple of months ago and I’m still not too sure if I like it or not. Its medium coverage, if you have a pimple or red on your skin this will make it lighter, but not completely disappear. This is definitely not a foundation for hot weather. It looks like you have make up on. I wouldn’t purchase this again because it didn’t deliver anything close to what I wanted.

Perfection in a cute little bottle

After 6 products of foundation that turned into epic fails I was skeptical of buying a foundation, after numerous YouTube reviews. I was convinced. I ran up to walmart and picked out 110 Ivory and was very pleased. The foundation, with help of a primer, goes on very smoothly and was very high coverage and buildable.Pros — Full Coverage- Goes on smooth (with help of primer)- No harsh smell- Lasts for a long timeCons — Messy because of NO PUMP
