Renpure Originals Argan Oil Conditioner, 16 Ounce

Organic argan oil has unique micro-properties that absorb instantly into the hair for deeper penetration, repairing the deepest damage as the natural micro-barrier protects from styling heat and UV rays. The result is radiant shine with a silky-soft feel for healthy, beautiful hair. Damaged hair occurs when moisture is lost, causing the cuticle layer to become dry, brittle and cracked. Argan oil moisturizes and smooths the cuticle, locking in moisture and returning your hair to its beautiful, natural state.

Horrid Smell

I did not find this product to work all that well. I have waist length fine, thick hair and noticed very little difference after using this product. I did notice the smell. And because my hair is so long and swings and sways when I move that stench was noticeable. I asked a friend to take a whiff of my hair and she said, "thank goodness you have to get really close to smell it, because it smells weird." The foul smell won’t be all that noticeable in the local landfill.

It’s OK

Very nice smell and no chemicals. The overall idea is great. Personally, I am a big fan of argan oil stuff, it usually works miracles on my hair. This conditioner is not strong enough for my hair, I expected more. Probably would not buy again but will finish the bottle for sure.

Soft Manageable Hair – TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE

“Shampoo & conditioner left hair, soft & manageable. Why 4 rating – FRAGRANCE – The strong argan smell and then additionally added fragrance – TOO MUCH – Passed both products along after a week. Companies “every product should not have fragrance” – common sense – fragrances conflict amongst the different products. Now add in sensitivities, its a chemical nightmare.””

Better than its shampoo partner

I purchased this conditioner in combination with the Renpure Originals Argan Oil Shampoo, and as I was not impressed with the shampoo, the conditioner is alright (definitely nothing to rave about). After shampooing i’d put this all throughout my hair, leave on for the remainder of my shower and rinse out last and it made my hair feel much better than it did pre-conditioner. I would say if you’re purchasing the Argan Oil line by Renpure don’t skip on the conditioner. The smell is not pretty, so I’d keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to smells.

Not for my hair type

I have medium length hair that is thick and wavy. I have an oily scalp and dry ends. I bought this thinking it would help my ends. This product left my hair oily, no matter how little I used. I also avoided my scalp, but the matching shampoo had stripped my hair so much, I had issues with my roots being difficult to comb. The roots weren’t the only part that felt greasy. My ends also felt waxy and coated. This may work for others, but it did nothing for my hair. I used this for a week to make my final decision on whether it was the product or user error causing the greasy, coated feeling on my hair. I now believe it’s the product.

Great for coarse curly hair

I just tried this several months ago on my thick, 3c/4a hair. I LOVE IT. Especially the price. It runs around six or seven bucks in chain drugstores so look for the best price. It gives very good slip so I can comb through those wet curls easily. It isn’t super thick but it isn’t runny either. Smells good, not flowery but like a lotion. I use it for co-washing and regular conditioning. I have also mixed a bit of this with water in a spray bottle and used as a leave in conditioner with no adverse effects. For the price, it does what I need and I don’t have to use half a bottle to do it. On the same level of conditioning as TreSemme Naturals, Trader Joe’s or Giovanni moisturizing conditioners, which all are staples in my regimen.

Wasnt so moisturising.

I love renpures regular conditioner, I buy it in the pump bottle, I decided to try this with the shampoo, not happy. I think the ingredients have alot of coconut (I may be wrong). Coconut oil works amazing but to much for me and i frizz. I even added alittle of this conditioner to the ends of my hair while it was drying and it was extremely frizzy after it dried. May work on thicker hair, not mine. Renpure please dont change your other condioner the original…..love it!

Works well for my hair.

I’ll start by saying that I’m a guy, and this has worked wonderfully for me. The product has a pleasant, but not overpowering, aroma. It really keeps my hair moisturized and soft. For the value, I don’t think you’ll find any better.

Smells great!

Pleasently surprised with this stuff! It smells wonderful and for a natural product, it really conditioned my hair. I also use it on my 19 month old daughter (a little goes a long way) and it works wonders on her tangles.

Excellent for dry curl hair

I have dry curl hair( type 2b-2c) and thirsts for moisture. I love this. I purchased at Walgreens it was on sale for 6.49 for the 32 oz and the ingredients caught my attention. For those that are complaining that it leaves their greasy it has argan **oil** in it. If your hair is fine or have an oily scap I wouldn’t recommend this. My dry hair absorbed this and it felt silky smooth. I also love the smell. I find that my deep conditioner works even better after washing with this.
