No lift here – weighed hair down and made it flat!
We love theRenpure Organics My Pretty Hair is Parched! Moisturizing Conditioner, 13.5-Ouncefor my daughter so I thought I’d try this one for me. I have curly, normal to a bit oily, fine and thin hair. And I’m in my 40’s. I’m from 80’s land where we want VOLUME in our hair. That means lift, body, and big hair. This conditioner did the exact opposite of that – flat hair with no body practially glued to my head. Maybe it was too much conditioner for my hair – but it certainly did not impart any volume whatsoever. I used a nickel sized amount and rinsed well.Due to the fact it is supposed to volumize your hair I cannot really recommend it.
IT DOES ADD VOLUME
IT IS A GOOD VALUE. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. IT DOES GIVE MY HAIR ADDED VOLUME BUT NOT A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT. IT SMELLS FINE. IT IS NOT OILY OR HEAVY BUT NEITHER IS IT OVERLY SILKY SO I GIVE IT A 3.5
This Product is decent, I don’t love the way organic conditioner feels in my hair, it’s going to get some getting use to. The smell is its definitely not bad, but i don’t love it it either. The main reason I gave this 3 stars instead of 4 is because it uses soy. The price is good, but I won’t purchase this item again.
These are good value
I like the red conditioner best for some reason. But they all smell nice. I think hi end conditioner isn’t necessary every day and this is better than a lot of drugstore ones because it lacks harsh chemicals
Long term use terrible for fine hair
At first I really thought this Renpure Volumizing Conditioner was working but after prolonged use my hair had tones of flyaways, breakage, built up static, etc. This Shampoo/Conditioner just doesn’t cut it. On my search for a product that would keep my fine naturally blond hair soft and hydrated but without weighing it down believe it or not some higher end brands got beaten out by Suave Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It is modeled after the original Matrix Amplify formula and it is amazing. Everything I wanted from my hair is here again. Funny note: Redken Volumizing, Biolage Volumizing, Matrix Amplify all changed their formulas within the last year and are pretty much horrible but the Suave Volumizing is based on the old good formula of Amplify so it is great. Go figure $3 shampoo and conditioner would save my hair :)I give this 2 stars because I could potentially see it working well for people with very thick strands of hair not prone to flyaways and breakage.
