Redkin is the best… not sure about color extend…

But I’m not sure the color extend is worth the extra if it is. I don’t think it’s lasting any longer than the regular Redkin. Again, the shampoo and conditioner are both amazing because their Redkin. Just not sure if it’s any different being color extend.

Worst color shampoo I have ever used

I purchased this from my hair dresser because she suggested it. It made my hair feel very corse, rough, brittle, it broke off like crazy, and worst of all it made my hair feel and look greasy. Didn’t help with extending my color at all. Not to mention it’s just a nasty consistancy.

Wow! Salon feel from home.

So I always wondered which product my hairdresser used that just seemed to magically make my color-treated (red, one of the more easily fading colors) hair feel so amazing. I ordered a sample of this product and I am 100% positive this (or a similar product) is what was causing it! I’ve always used Pantene Pro-V for color treated hair, and it was okay/not bad. But this stuff makes my fine and frizzy hair feel silky and manageable. Awesome!

Redken Color Extend Set from Amazon

It seemed to make my hair nice and smooth, without decreasing the color I’ve had processed at my hair stylist. It seems to work similar to other brands I’ve tried for colored hair, such as Joico and Bed Head. It’s not a big "WOW!" factor, but it didn’t strip my color, as I mentioned, and cleaned and conditioned my hair adequately. I’m still looking for that "WOW!" factor. Price isn’t much different from those I could buy from my local hair mega-store, so I’ll probably shop locally from now on for hair products.Sany123
