Life changer for my son
Puracy hand soap has helped change the life of my son. I know this sounds dramatic, but it is true. For a 9-year-old boy with eczema during cold & flu season, hand washing can become a nightmare. The Puracy soap allows him to protect himself from these viruses but also helped heal some of the skin irritation that was already present on his forearms and hands. He has been very excited about this. For me personally, it has been a mental adjustment to remind myself that my hands can be clean without being dried out. This soap is mild and does not take all of the moisture out of the skin.I am not crazy about the scent BUT I do not care for the smell of lavender. I don’t smell vanilla at all. None of the other members of the household have issues with the scent. I would LOVE for this product to be available in the tea tree and lime scent!!!
The Puracy Natural Hand Soap is lightly scented, eco-friendly, and non-drying …
I use a liquid hand soaps, but most of them are the type I pick up in the store. As a rule, they are antibacterial. There’s been a slight movement away from them now and having an eco-friendly, hypoallergenic one appealed to me. I was expecting a strong scent from the Puracy Natural Hand Soap, but found a rather mild one instead. Not that I ever smell my antibacterial one, but even that mild scent was a nice touch. There are several interesting things about the Puracy Natural Hand Soap and that’s the claim that the “lavender essential oil provides a naturally antiseptic quality.” It is an accepted fact in the alternative medicine community. If you don’t agree with that, I’m sure you’ll agree that lavender is a soothing scent.I’ve only tried one other Puracy product and already know I’ll like the entire line. I’m all for eco-friendly household products, especially septic safe ones. This hand soap doesn’t dry out my hands, but rather has a tendency to moisturize them. I’m had my hands in and out of water all day and haven’t had to use a hand lotion. Would have liked to have had a ‘louder’ scent, but still very much like the Puracy Natural Hand Soap.FEATURES:☼ Safely and effectively clean your hands with the power of plants and natural minerals☼ NO SLS, triclosan, parabens, phosphates, petroleum-based ingredients, animal by-products, chlorine, petrochemicals, dyes, or caustics☼ All natural, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and biodegradable☼ Our proprietary blend of natural cleansers, including Aloe Vera and Vegetable Glycerin, gently remove soil and naturally moisturize your skin☼ Lavender essential oil provides a naturally antiseptic quality☼ Never tested on animals☼ Safe for greywater and septic systems☼ Lavender & Vanilla☼ 12 fl. oz. Gentle and cleaning …
I love the gentleness of this, especially since I am sensitive to many chemicals. But it is more than gentle, it really does a great job of cleaning my skin.I have been using this for over a week without any reactions at all, and give this a full approval – that I am willing to recommend this to my friends.I am grateful to have been given a sample that I could use to test it out.
Great for using as a kitchen hand soap
When I first got this soap I set it in the family bathroom for everyone to use. Then after using it a few times, I realized how much I enjoyed how it left my hands feeling after washing them. So I moved the soap to the kitchen, where I have to wash my hands constantly while cooking. When preparing a meal, I frequently need to wash my hands a half dozen times or so, in a very short time, because of handling meats and such. I liked how cleanly this washed off my hands and realized that using a natural, plant based soap was probably better put to use in the kitchen where I’m handling everyone’s food.It smells great and the bottle pump works well. No leaking of soap out the sides of it. I can use this soap to wash greasy foods like butter or cooking oil off my hands, and it leaves them clean and without an signs of left over residue. And being plant based, I really like the idea of using this as a kitchen hand soap, when you’re going to be handling people’s food and constantly washing your hands.Sample provided for review.
Gentle and great scent
I am a fan of this hand soap. I like being able to wash my hands in a product that contains natural and moisturizing ingredients. My hands are clean, smell great, and rinse easily. The liquid is a little thin and not as sudsy as soaps with a lot of chemicals but it works great.I love the scent, very light and pleasant. The hint of vanilla keeps the lavender from smelling as strong and old sachet as it sometimes can.One squirt really is enough to do the job, so the bottle is economical. I have the hand soap sitting in the kitchen and will be buying one for the bathrooms.Sample provided
I was thrilled to review the Puracy Home Essentials cleaning line from Puracy.com. Included was:Laundry Detergent: This is made with 4x concentration power. One bottle can wash up to 64 loads of clothes. I was thrilled that this came unscented. I enjoy the smell of clean way more than any fragrance itself. The clothes just came out of my washing machine clean and ready to wear.Dish Soap: Plant-powered, baby-safe formula works great on ceramic, crystal, glass, plastic, baby bottles, porcelain, metals, jewelry, patio furniture, toys, rubber, and any other surface that is safe for a simple soap. Oh, and it’s also great for dishes too! It is not as sudsy as regular soaps, but bubbles do not equal clean in my opinion.Multi Surface Cleaner: Safely and effectively cleans every household surface (even glass!) I have been regularly using this on my granite kitchen countertops. It is fast to spray and wipe away with a paper towel. I want the area where I prepare food to be safe and clean and this multi-surface cleaner does the job. This does have a green tea and lime smell that has a strong but pleasant aroma.Hand Soap: This is perfect for use in the bathroom. Easy to pump out and suds up quickly. My hands feel clean and I am confident when my kids use this, no artificial ingredients or chemicals are entering their bodies. Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies and can absorb whatever we put to it. Natural and non-toxic ingredients are always the best.I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free from Puracy. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I’m big on hand soap. I have a little bit of an OCD thing when it comes to washing my hands, and so my skin dries out very easily. On top of that, I work with acrylic paint and inks/dyes all day, so I’m constantly washing my hands to scrub the paint off. I know anti-bacterial skin is not good in big doses, but the idea of it comforts me, so I find myself washing with that a lot, too. As you can imagine, my skin suffers for it, and my hands sometimes really hurt from all the scrubbing. There are very few liquid soaps that actually feel like they clean skin well without completely stripping it, and considering that the Puracy is all natural, I was a bit skeptical. But I decided to give it a try.I have been using it for about a week now as the main soap and I’m really impressed. My skin feels great during and after washing, and it also gets paint off my skin really easily (including the dried up paint, which is sometimes REALLY DIFFICULT to get off hands). That’s a big deal- normally I have to scrub with a brush to get the paint off my skin, which really irritates my hands. I simply washed with a squirt of Puracy and some hot water, it lathered up nicely (big bonus points- I’m the kind of person who feels like if soap doesn’t lather, it’s not working, even though I know that’s untrue…) and within 30 seconds, my hands were super clean without feeling as if they had some sort of acid bath. And the smell of this soap- heaven! It smells so good!I usually don’t rave about hand soap because I go through so much of it and it’s just sort of there, but the Puracy is a really nice change. I love that it makes my skin feel clean without being harsh. And, like I said, the smell is icing on the cake. This is good stuff.
Wonderful all natural hand soap, rinses off well and my hands feel so clean after I use this!
Since I have itchy skin, especially on my hands and arms, what a blessing this natural hand soap has been! First, of all I noticed that it has a pleasant scent of Lavender and Vanilla, yet not overpowering! Also, I noticed that it has more of a clean scent, much like the scent outside after a rain-shower.+ Cleaning and Rinsing Abilities – What I especially like is that is throughly cleans my hands and rinses off the first time well. Most hand-soaps I used before I found they seemed to leave a very slight soapy feel even after rinsing two or three times. This soap rinses off nicely first time. And my hands feel very clean with fresh and woodsy scent I found.+ Gentle and Non Toxic Ingredients – This is my favorite feature of this soap that it is made with plant based materials for cleansers and moisturizers – this is all from plants and essential oils which are good for the hands and non toxic. My hands feel wonderful after using this soap and no more itching!Sample provided by Puracy.
Great Cleaning, Not Harsh, Lovely Scent
I love lavender but I’m not a huge fan of vanilla. However, the scent of this soap is the perfect blend. Not overpowering and subtle enough to put a smile on my face. It cleans grease and grime off and is gentle enough to keep by my kitchen sink where I wash my hands the most. No issues with drying or cracking either. The price is great considering it is all natural and comes in an easy to use pump.Highly recommended.I was provided a sample for testing and review.
Gentle moisturizing soap
This is an all natural hand soap.It only takes a small amount of this product to work, so there is no need to press the pump all the way downward. This liquid soap is not thick, it is thin. What I like about this soap is that it does not dry out my hands like my antibacterial soap does. I have sensitive skin and this product does NOT irritate my hands. What I dislike about this soap is the smell. The smell is not bad – it is just not my favorite smell. Fortunately the smell is subtle so I am not walking around smelling like lavender and vanilla perfume. I have to be careful with loud smells because of allergies – I do not have that problem with this soap.
Very nice natural hand soap
Works great and smells great too! I would order it again. We are using it in all of our bathrooms at home now.
Nice lather and a wonderful fragrance
Puracy hand soap produces a nice lather and emits a rich natural fragrance, with an immediate flood of sharp pine-like lavender followed by a sweet vanilla, very complex and enjoyable. It does a great job cleaning, rinses well, and leaves the skin soft. The bottle holds a full 12 oz., which is a good amount, especially compared to other brands in bottles that don’t even hold a full 8 oz. but which have shrunk to 7.5 oz. It has a paper label that can be removed by wiping it with olive oil and leaving it overnight. The pump dispenses just the right amount and doesn’t drip and make a mess. The ingredients, as listed on the bottle that I received:Purified water, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, aloe vera-based surfactant, glycerin, citric acid, lavender essential oil, vanilla essential oil, methylisothiazolinone. Now, even the best hand soap can’t do its job without proper handwashing technique:
• Wet hands with running water.
• Apply soap and lather well.
• Rub hands vigorously for at least 20 seconds.
• Scrub all surfaces, including the backs of hands, wrists, between fingers, and under fingernails.
• Rinse well.
• Dry hands with a clean or disposable towel or air dryer.
• If possible, use a towel to turn off the faucet and open the door.Puracy provided a sample for testing and impartial review. This is a good quality liquid soap with a delightful fragrance, so I can confidently recommend it.
Cleans well with a somewhat strong scent
The Puracy Natural Hand Soap cleans my hands very well (even greasy hands) and the scent is pleasant but somewhat strong. It’s not bad but you can really smell the scent. What I like most about the Puracy Natural Hand Soap:HypoallergenicNon-toxicBiodegradableThe hand soap contains the following ingredients according to the Puracy website:Purified Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Aloe Vera-Based Surfactant, Vegetable Glycerin, Citric Acid, Lavender Essential Oil, Vanilla Essential Oil, Methylisothiazolinone which is a preservative. The ingredients are plant-based.The Puracy website states the Puracy Natural Hand Soap will on average provide 576 hand washes.Recommend.MRThe following review was done after receiving a bottle of the hand soap from the manufacturer or their representative.
Nothing shouts pure and natural more than the design of this bottle. It is simple yet lovely. I can imagine it sitting on the sink of one of Martha Stewart’s shabby chic homes. What’s inside? Puracy, a hand soap so light and fresh, I feel clean just smelling it. Each pump will give me far more than I need. Half a pump will do it. The soap is not real thick, but it lathers up nicely.I’m not all normally about crunchy granola goodness. You couldn’t sell me on pure and natural. I just like the soap. This product was provided for review by Puracy.
Gentle with a lovely scent
Just wonderful, my wife and I agreed on this one. We love the natural smell first of all. I didn’t know that the combination of vanilla and lavender produces a very pleasant aroma. I press it very lightly, as a mere glob is enough to wash my hands. Just a little tiny pearly ball produce so much suds is quite surprising. It is gentle on your hands. You won’t feel dry, no harsh chemicals, no petroleum products and no animal by-products. Also contains aloe vera which we regularly buy fresh from the store.Made in USAA sample of this product was sent to me for review purposes.
Nice sent and works really well
After receiving a sample to try out, I found that it had a nice pleasant scent, the lavender and vanilla work well together. It is also a very good hand soap and is very gentle on my hands while getting them clean.
Cleans effectively yet safely
I’ll begin by saying that this hand soap has the genuine fragrance of lavender. A couple of years ago I went to a lavender festival out west and purchased products that were made right there on the lavender farms. This soap smells exactly like them. Such a soft and calming fragrance.I love the fact that it’s made with all natural ingredients that are specifically chosen for their earth-friendly qualities. We bring so many toxic chemicals into our homes disguised as cleaning products, and then we pump them out into our ground water or off to our water treatment plants. These chemicals never really go away. They just end up back in our lives in some other form.I’ve been reading a lot about our overuse of antibacterial agents in our soaps and the effect they are having on antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This is simply soap. It cleans effectively and thoroughly and leaves my hands feeling clean yet soft. That’s all I need or want in my hand soap.
Clean, natural, fantastic smell
In the last several years, there have been a lot of improvements in the availability of natural products that work just as well, if not better than "chemical" based products. I’ve made a marked attempt to always choose the non-chemical version of things when performance is at least equal. I’m pragmatic, but also don’t want to wastefully use chemicals on me when I can avoid it.This hand soap reminds me of the quality of natural hand soaps I’ve picked up at Whole Foods, with the fantastic fragrance of a lotion that I used to have from Bath & Body Works. The smell is apparent but not overpowering and the soap is very slick on the hands and very good at lifting and allowing hand dirt/debris to wash away. Other natural soaps I’ve had have been a bit gritty or grippy and didn’t wash as clean. The container is very nice, the shipping material wasn’t excessive and I was very pleased with this hand soap.By a lot of hard hours and days and years of time spent reviewing, I found myself in the top 10 reviewers on Amazon. This wasn’t a goal or self promotion, but by nose-down focused reviewing. I occasionally get contacted by manufacturers or sellers who appreciate my way of reviewing and ask if I’ll consider reviewing a product for them, with no obligation or cost. This is one of those products. I assure you that I review what I want, when I want, how I want, in order to share what I feel is the most accurate useful information.
