Perfect for the office
Slide these in the desk drawer at the office and bam, instant face wash. These work great and dont dry you all out. I love them for a 6o clock refresh after leaving the office. Just make sure to seal them up well, they can dry out easy if you dont.
LOVE THESE TOWELETTES
I love everything about these towelettes — the convenience, the scent, the effectiveness. I tried them after reading a favorable review in a magazine and was immediately impressed, so much that I included them as stocking stuffers in all of the girl’s stockings at our family Christmas. They’re super convenient to just grab and wipe, and they do an effective job of removing grime and makeup — although I don’t know that they could tackle heavy mascara, they leave my face feeling very clean and fresh in the morning. I feel like my skin is so fresh and glowing after using these in the morning that I have cut back on using foundation, and often just use a little sunscreen and blush. I also really like the scent, which is clean and pleasant, not perfumey — but if you’re sensitive to scent, you might want to give these a pass. Overall, I would recommend these highly — and the Amazon price is great.
Lovely scent, unpleasant texture to the cloths
I’ve used several moist make up remover wipes over the years, and recently tried this one. I really like the scent – refreshing and lovely. But the wipes are small, and the exfoliating side, while not too rough, wasn’t complemented buy the reverse. The plain side was to thin and they were hard to use. I much prefer the size and texture of Olay Regenerist Micro-Exfoliating Wet Cleansing Cloths and so I’ve gone back to them. See what you think.
Smell bad and less fluid than other Pond’s wipes
For starters, there is much more fluid on the original wipes. These feel a good bit drier long before all the surface (both sides) is used. There’s not much in the way of exfoliation…not enough to justify a higher cost than the regular. They smell. I don’t detect any citrus or cucumber. What they remind me of, though, is the floor cleaner that the janitors used in my elementary schools. That memory is decades old…and may not be precise…but that’s the identification that came to mind.I’ll use them up but can’t wait to go back to the originals.
great for sensitive skin
I have used all types if the Ponds make up remove cloths. THey are all great and i find switching the type I am using every few months works well with my skin. Getting these in a 2 or 3 pack is perfect and they don’t dry out before you get to use them.
Not as good as other Ponds towelettes. Disappointed
I’m an active user of Pond’s Towelettes and usually purchasePOND’S Evening Soothe Wet Cleansing Towelettes. However, I noticed that these ones were slightly cheaper when I went to purchase more and I figured I’d give them a try. I really wish I would not have bought two/four total because I don’t like them nearly as much as the other Pond’s Towelettes I’ve used. One of my favorite things about Pond’s towelette is that there are these raised quilted texture that I feel really gets the dirt and make-up off my skin and out of my pores. However, the exfoliating towelettes as these small little yellow dots and it does not feel the same and I don’t feel like they are doing anything to really exfoliate my face. Additionally, my least favorite thing about the product, which may be a personal thing, is the scent. I’ve tried several kinds of towelettes before I found I liked Pond’s, so I’ve tried various scents and this product’s scent is by far the worst. For some reason the fake citrus scent gave me an immediate negative reaction to the product, almost to the point I felt nauseous. I may end up just giving them to a friend and buying the Pond’s I know I like. Lesson learned; when you find something that you like, don’t try to save a buck, just stick with what you know you love.
Nice wipes to leave you feeling fresh and clean without drying or residue
I’ve tried a lot of different wipes… theAveeno Ultra Calming Makeup Removing Wipes, 25 Count(left too much of a residue), thePhilosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleansing Cloths 30 Cloths(too expensive and left a bit of residue),Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, 25 Count (Pack of 2)(burned my face)… to name a few.And these are my favorites. They do actually clean my face, aren’t overly drying, don’t burn, don’t leave too much of a residue, and the scent is not too strong. I use these wipes to clean my face during they day if I’m feeling grimy, for a quick cleanse after the gym or a run, and while I’m traveling (my face just feels… YUCK… after a flight, and I fly a lot).I only wish the closing mechanism was something more robust than a sticker. Since I don’t use these every day, the packaging can dry out. So I keep the whole thing in a Ziplock bag.
These towelettes are a 3 in one product. They clean make-up and dirt off your face, dead skin remover and moistener.
