Great powder to use as a cover-up and more!
When I first got this powder from Physician’s formula, I actually thought it was a mineral foundation, so I was kind of disappointed. However, the main thing I wanted to use it for was spot coverage rather than as an all-over base, and I’ve found that this product works perfectly in this capacity. I don’t use the included brush; instead, I use either a small makeup sponge (for larger areas of coverage) or the tip of my finger (for more precise spot coverage). This product has performed well for a variety of uses, from evening out red patches to covering up blemishes. Furthermore, I haven’t experienced any of the problems that the other reviewer mentioned–ie, I’ve found that this product blends well and disappears into my face. The only negative I have to say is that this particular color, natural beige, is actually a little dark for me despite the fact that I have a medium-beige skin tone; the buff beige is a better match. Other than that, I’m glad that I found an inexpensive mineral option in this product, and I’d definitely recommend it.
a wonderful product…
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Loose Talc-Free Powder is a great and inexpensive alternative to more pricey brands of cover ups and powders. The shade was perfect for my fair complexion. What’s more, it effectively covers any blemishes or imperfections, without looking too caked on or artificial. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin, who is seeking a product designed to give them a clearer looking complexion. Just great!
I like this powder. I’ve been wearing for about a week now and its very easily blendable and easy to apply. Doesn’t seem to be making my face break out either-which is always good!
Subtle powder for makeup minimalists like me
I’ve never been much of a makeup wearer, typically just lipstick, but after trying mineral powder at my sister’s house and finding it mild and understated, I decided to give this powder a try. I’ve been using it nearly every day since I discovered it. I don’t know about the formula, but it doesn’t make me break out, even when I don’t wash my face before I go to bed (my bad!). It evens out blotchy areas and keeps me matte rather than shiny. I am sold on mineral makeup and the Physicians Formula line in particular.
I like it
This product shipped very quickly. I like the powder, good product, lasts a while. I definitely would order this again.
Good product, great price
I normaly buy this product in sand beige color at the store but they never had it in stock so I looked at Amazon for it (since they sell just about everything) and voila! They had it and it was much cheaper than what it costs in stores.I love this product. Its great for skin types prone to become oily, it’s fast so you can apply it quickly even if you are late one morning, Had a great customer experience overall too. Would recommend people to try it at least!
The Perfect Powder
5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Powder, April 15, 2008By Nicole Martinez (Japan) – See all my reviews(REAL NAME)I have fallen in love with products by Physicians Formula. I don’t especially look for mineral or talc-free beauty products, just long lasting products within a decent price range that work well. I have previously used other powders by Physicians Formula and this is one of the best.I prefer loose powders which can be brushed on over packed powders or poof applicators. The case of this powder also allows a place for you to keep the little brush snugly and clean, which I love.Unlike some powder applicators, you can clearly see how much powder is on the brush and apply it to your face. The powder does a wonderful job of going on and you can clearly see the difference. It helps to reduce shine and even out skin tone very well. The brush may pick up a bit much powder for one dusting so I’d suggest tapping it to release excess makeup. Also, the container is a bit unique; you need to tap or shake it so that the powder will come up through the holes and if you have it bouncing around in a purse or bag, this will actually do the job for you very well.Overall, this is an effective product which works well, feels good on the skin, has a clear result, and even takes into consideration the storage of the applicator. I would recommend it.
This product is just right for my light but blotchy, easily irritated, skin. I can not wear sunscreens, but can wear this product, and it does have sun protection in it. It is really awesome to find a product that doesn’t break me out. I live in a hot climate, and it is great for summer, helping my face to stay dry (very absorbent). This color is perfect for light skin (especially mine, with blotchy red undertones). It covers the red in my face well, but doesn’t leave a highly unnatural look.I like the applicator and haven’t needed to switch to another brush. I like that it puts out just the right amount with one shake (it shakes through the little holes in the top). I also like that the brush can be held in the same container, and not have to be left out in the open where my husband is likely to splash it from his side of the sink.
I love physician’s formula mineral wear
After trying a handful of high-end department and specialty store mineral powders, I ended up at my local target, where I found this. I fell in love with Physician’s Formula Mineral wear – it has great coverage (I have acne, and I need full coverage) without looking cakey or thick, blends really well, and applies like a dream. The one con I have found for all of the mineral wear powders are the brushes. I do not like the brushes that come with the powder – as they are usually stiff and can be harsh. I often use them in a pinch, but I prefer to use a softer brush like bareminerals or even just e.l.f. brushes. The price point is perfect for the product you get, and it lasts a really long time! Amazon.com has the best prices anywhere!
