A good green
I didn’t plan to purchase this color but my husband surprised me so I’m game.
I laugh at the names, but the polish itself is fabulous!
OPI makes a really nice product. In general, the colors are fun (and the names funnier!), they apply well (2 coats) and they last A Really Long Time even with the abuse I dish out. The Gargantuan Green Grape certainly fits these criteria. It’s a very pretty and fun shade of lighter green, great for summer toes. I’m very happy with this color, and I’m very happy with the OPI quality.HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDJTG(don’t worry, I don’t put it on my dog’s toenails, just my own).
soooo in right now
I bought this color for summer 2012. I absolutely loved it! It goes great with my turquoise rings without being too matchy-matchy. I also tried the new trend with this new shade of painting my one ring finger a different color. I used an orange-type shade to off-set this tone and make it look Western. I have been doing my own nails for years and I swear by OPI because it stays on longer without chipping than any other brand I’ve tried. I also LOVE the cool names they come up with.
Looks blue indoors?
It’s pretty weird, but I kept forgetting this polish was green! On my nails, for some odd reason, it appeared light blue in the house. Poor lighting, I guess. But yes, it’s very obviously a mint green outdoors. I chose this polish over Essie’s Mint Candy Apple as Gargantuan Green Grape appeared darker in color (and I got to see it on the hands of a girl who works at Ulta lol). While it is bright, it actually looks just fine on medium length nails. It’s a color that works very well on brown skin but seems to clash a little with strong yellow undertones. It looks fine on me now, but by the end of August I’m sure I’ll be able to wear this color a lot better!Unfortunately, there seems to be a new 3 coats trend on the market today, and this polish was no exception. Yes, you’ll need 3 coats to get full coverage. Otherwise, it’s just fine.
Finally the mint green I have been searching for!!
I have been searching high and low for the perfect shade of mint green for this season. I saw this color on a girlfriend and was excited when she told me it was OPI. I placed my order and waited patiently for my delivery. It is the exact shade of mint green I have been searching for and wasting money on other colors and brands. Finally I can stop searching and enjoy me mint green nails! I love OPI and this polish did not let me down either.
IT’S NOT GARGANTUAN GREEN GRAPE!
This is a sheer pale blue color. Not what I saw at target, which was a green Color and not as it appears in this picture. My fault though. I should’ve read the reviews.
Paler and more Aqua
Color is a little different than expected but quick ship thanks to seller. It seems to go with the aqua colors much better. The formula is nice and goes on very smooth.
