MISLEADING!

This is really just a silicone based (dimethicone) product, similar to “Frizz-ease” and others. Don’t get me wrong, I like silicone products, but naming this product “Argan Oil Treatment” is deceptive. Argan oil comes AFTER fragrance on the ingredient list. How much fragrance does it take to scent a 3.4oz bottle? A drop or two? Or even less? And since ingredients are listed in order of how much is in there, that means there’s hardly any actual Argan oil in this product. And by the time you dispense a single application in your hand you probably have a minuscule amount of Argan oil in that application. Certainly not enough to do anything for your hair. Shame on you One ‘N Only for your misleading label! As far as how good this product is, it’s not really any different than any of the other silicone products I’ve used. My favorite silicone product (mainly because I like it’s scent) isBiosilk Silk Therapy Serum, Packaging May Vary, 5.64 Ouncesand it’s a lot less expensive. Other brands are even cheaper. Ten dollars for a 3.4 oz bottle of this “Argan oil” is really expensive by comparison.I bought my product from Sally’s and I’m taking it back for a refund. If you want to really see what argan oil will do for your hair, I would recommend buying a product that contains 100% Pure Argan oil. It will be more expensive, but at least you’re getting what you pay for.Update: I’ve tried 100% pure Argan oil and I honestly don’t see what the hype is all about. It doesn’t do anything for my hair. It was an expensive failure. I love what silicone products do and it seems that when people rave about Argan oil, it’s most likely the “fillers” (silicone) that they like. I don’t think there’s anything special about Argan oil over any other oil (for effects on the hair).

“Never Used It”

Just like the title says I never used it since I have another hair product that I’m using right now which kind of serves the same purpose.

Good Product

Even though this is a mainly silicone based product I believe it is a good product for someone on a budget. It smells very nice and keeps your hair hydrated. My only complete is that it is very oily (greasy) and tough to get off your hands or anywhere else it gets. I probably will not buy it again, and will continue to look for another argan oil.

Used sparingly

Keeps hair non frizzy, shiny, and smelling great. Not as strong smelling as the CVS stocked brand. Just use a tiny amound on dry areas. I don’t use it around my face or top of my hair because it can make it look greasy. Works well with a flat iron.

Hair Control in a Bottle

I have fine, super curly hair that never does what I want it to, unless I slap a glob of this stuff into it. It leaves it feeling fantastic and looking sleek and shiny.

For this price point-a good substitute for the Moroccan Oil

Note: For now my hair is being straighten without chemicals.Usage on wet hair: This product kept my hair moist for 3 days. It felt really good. I had to test out the amount of oil to put on my hair. Too much it is an oily mess and too little my hair was a little dry. This product does not contribute to a sleek professional blow dry like the Moroccan Oil for my hair.Usage on dry hair: The product adds moisture to my hair. I experience some straight hair turning curly on some parts of my hair. I tried this dry method again a to make sure it wasn’t caused by the product but it happened again. This product is alcohol-free, paraben-free, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol-free.Made in the USA

Save your money – very little argan here!

First of all I will preface this by saying that this product caused a massive rash all over my head and shoulders (where ever my hair touched skin).Second, this product has virtually no argan oil in it. Upon developing my rash, I took a in depth look at the ingredients, and argan is dead last, even after fragrance. Knowing what I know from a labelling perspective, there is likely less than 1% argan in this product. It is mostly greasy silicones. It did worse than nothing for my fine, straight hair. It left it limp and greasy looking. If you do decide you want to try it, you can get a sample size bottle at Sally’s for just over a dollar.

Affordable but Limited Uses

The One N’ Only Argan oil works on your hair but is limited to that usage. I add this to my deep conditioner and use it on my hair a few times a week. I don’t like using it straight as I have fine hair and it weighs it down a bit. If you are looking for a more natural product I can recommend:Pura D’or Pure & Organic Argan Oil (4 fl. oz.). This is an oil you can use on your face, body and hair. This argan oil is less expensive but you get what you pay for. I like using both oils but for different uses.~The Rebecca Review

Very handy for hair

This One ‘n Only Argan Oil Treatment, which is not a 100% argan formula, has come in handy and I notice results on my hair. It is good for providing softness, shortening drying time and it smells really, really nice (softly sweet fragrance)! I also used it mixed with my semi-permanent color treatment (gray cover) and it has definitely contributed to that treatment taking better and lasting longer than it has before for me. It also is reasonably priced. I will definitely use it with my color treatments from now on. I even gave some to a friend for use in her hair after conditioning because it does really cut down on drying time. It’s a very handy product to have in your bathroom.

don’t bother

I should have done my research and read the “ingredients”, where argan is listed at the bottomThis product is basically a drug-store frizz ease labelled as Argan Oil. Yes it’s cheap, but Frizz Ease is cheaper.Even the tiniest amount made my hair greasy. I’ll pay more and buy the real argan oil next time.

Basic hair oil…

Just recieved the product about a week ago, so far so good pretty much your standard hair oil, its nothing great to rave about but it does the job of keeping my hair pretty well moisturized and soft, gave it a three because with the way they advertise their product they make it seem like its all pure argan oil but in actuality its just verrrry little argan oil in the whole product… so yea if your looking for something thats decent and cheap then i would reccommend but if you have the money for something good then i say pure argan oil everytime.:-)

Not for my hair

I received a sample of this product and, since I was using a flat iron for the first time, decided to try it out one night. I used a very small amount and was it did indeed shorten the time I spent blow drying my hair. I used the flat iron and was happy with the results. My hair was very shiny and bouncy. The next morning, however, my hair was incredibly flat and full of static. I tried it a 2nd time with the same results. I have a lot of fine hair that tends to get too soft even when I use conditioner. I guess this product works better on course, dry and/or frizzy hair. All I know is that it doesn’t work well with my hair.

Smells heavenly and works wonders on wavy, curly, dry hair

Absolutely love it. Have been using it for years and couldn’t live without anymore. I have very long, wavy, rebellious, weather-dependent, defiant, dry locks, but I use it on damp hair and it works wonders. It leaves my hair shiny and soft, with my curls becoming somewhat manageable and delicate (vs. curling every way possible and looking like haywire). And the smell alone is worth the price… delicate and fragrant, without being too overpowering, sweet or with a hint of alcohol.

I like it

This is definitely a cheaper alternative to Moroccan Oil, which I love but I must face it, I have a lot of hair and $64 bucks for a 6.8 oz bottle really hurts. This smells the same -and it works. I like to use it as a sealer

good if you know what you’re getting….

After reading the reviews, most of us have discovered that this formula contains a significant amount of a frizz-ease type silicone ingredient and is not a pure oil argan product. I happen to find that the combination of ingredients works well for my hair and would continue to use it even though I wish they’d market it as a “best of both worlds” combo ingredient product.I usually wear my hair curly/natural but when I flat iron my hair I use this One ‘n Only Argan Oil as a styling aid. Helps the flat iron glide through my hair a little easier. It is very light, and doesn’t weigh my fine hair down. It helps keep the my hair from reverting to curly even in medium humidity. Adds shine. A good value price-wise compared to silicone only based products as well.

I love this stuff..

I am a big fan of argan oil. This particular one I do not use on dry hair or when setting my hair with rollers. I only use this on my hair if it’s wet (for the wet look. I never use hairspray or gel). I feel it’s a bit heavy for dry hair (moroccanoil is great for dry hair or hair in the process of blow drying). I honesty use this more on my body than on my hair. I know it is marketed for hair but I cannot help it!! After a shower it just absorbs in the skin and feels and smells amazing. I literally buy it for that reason. So yea.. I love it. 🙂

Really amazing for frizz control.

I love this! I tried it first because when I bought my new flat iron I had a really small sample and absolutely loved it. I bought it and it makes my hair so much better. I have really thin frizzy and wavy hair and live in a really humid place so most of the times my hair is more like my nightmare this controls the frizz like nothing else I have ever used. Definitely loved it.

Works wonders on my hair

I’ve read the negative reviews about this product. I never paid attention to what is in it (what a dope, huh?). All I can say is that I love what it does for my hair.I am Caucasian. I have baby fine, thin, wavy hair. It takes only a dab, but that dab does wonders on the ends of my hair. It gets rid of frizzy ends, smooths the hair and makes it shine.Whatever the heck is in this product works great on my hair. I love it.

Works well with dry hair

I discovered this product in a hair color kit. I liked it so much, I ordered it from amazon. It does mositurize your hair well but the downside.. It is quite heavy on the hair. I have very straight hair with thick strands. It makes my hair even more flat and harder to style. That being said, it is better used at night while you sleep.

Just a Dab Smoothes Out The Frizz

Yes, it’s true that this is not pure Argan Oil. But, it works! I literally put a dab in my palm & smooth through damp hair (but not my roots/scalp) & it’s all I need. I don’t have a lot of frizz; some sections of my hair just need a bit of help. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or limp. The heat of the blow dryer seems to make it even better.I got a .25 oz. sample of this with a flat iron months ago & I still have 3/4 of it left. Just start with a dab; you can always add more. The scent is very light & nutty; doesn’t make your hair stink.I only use this on my hair. If you plan to use Argan oil on your skin, you should probably buy pure Argan oil.
