thick and luxurious

I grew up watching my mother wipe off her makeup with this and always thought to be a grown up was to have this on your vanity. Over these past few days I’ve gotten chapped cheeks from the cold weather and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. It was horrible and painful. I went through loads of different face creams trying to make it go away quickly. I grabbed this at ulta for $.97 (it’s a small tin). It was the only thing that almost instantly fixed my sensitive skin. It’s thick and I love the way it smells (reminds me of my mom). Ironically, the cheapest cream was the one that worked the best! A classic!!!P.S. I have no idea what the difference is between the German, Mexican, or Asian versions of this cream are. You can buy them at target, ulta, walgreens, and probably any other drugstore.LAST THINGthe ingredients listed on the back of the tin are: water, mineral oil, petrolatum, glycerin, microcrystalline wax, lanolin alocohol, paraffin, panthenol, magnesium sulfate, decyl ocleate, octyldodecanol, aluminum stearates, fragrance, citric acid, magnesium stearate, methylcholoroisothaizolinone, methylisothiazolinone.

Ugh..made in Mexico.

I purchased this based on the other feedbacks saying it’s made in Germany.. I was trying to get a hold of the original German Nivea, because the stuff made in Mexico just isn’t the same.. What I got was made in Mexico.. Dang!It doesn’t have the same scent and it isn’t as creamy as the German kind.. It feels kind of like Crisco! I’m very disappointed. The description does not state it’s made in Germany, so I can’t fault Amazon for that.. I was hoping it was German made based on what other customers received..I’ll keep it to remove makeup, but picture using Crisco solid and try rubbing that on your legs and arms.. That’s pretty much what this spreads and feels like.. It leaves my skin feeling very greasy and that great Nivea scent is so faint, I can’t smell it after a few minutes..

The Original & The BEST!!

If you continue to offer me this German made Nivea I’ll be loyal for life.. I just returned to Amazon two bottles of their cloying ineffectual ‘oil of olay’ lotion and just had no idea what to buy for my scaling dry red skin, I purchased Nivea in the past but the walmart brand made in Mexico I am sorry but IT ISN’T THE SAME THING. It is soupy and not fit to be called creme. I only wish I can also find German made Fa. The Fa aimed to the American market is again a silly ineffectual product. I don’t get it? Why not stick to the original make with some fidelity?

heals repairs cracked dry skin. Love the Nivea creme. Great for cracked feet.

Update 2/28/2014 I had dry hands this winter and they cracked at knuckles and underneath on folds wheni used my fingers. I coated in this Nivea creme and they turned red and started to feel better. At the night I put on think with old silk opera gloves and by morning all the cracks had healed.I love the creme over the lotion. It is thick and stays on better. In the fall when my heels crack I, I pull out the Nivea creme and keep them saturated at night when I can stay off my feet. By morning they are better and healed in 2 to 3 days with frequent applications at night.

Winter Beauty

This stuff is amazingly moisturizing. I use it on my face and my hands during the cold winter months here in New England. It is very thick and creamy and a little goes a long way. This tin last the whole winter.

Wonderful product, crappy container

I love love love Nivea. This tin can container is a b!#@% to open. Do yourself a favor and buy a normal plastic container.

Terrific Tin

This is a huge tin of thick, creamy, Nivea, and the scent is wonderful, the clean, powdery scent I love. This has made me a convert from the lotion because the creme obliterates dry skin and leaves it smoothe and gleaming. Grade: A+

Best Cream Ever!

I’ve tried a lot of creams for moisture before and nothing pleases me half as much as this wonderful Nivea creme. It’s so thick and lush, and the fragrance is so wonderful I keep going back to open the tin just so I can imbibe the gorgeous scent. The price simply cannot be beat either.

Complimented on my skin today because of Nivea!

Nivea creme in the tin is a thick, white emulsion (water w/oils). I just started using it this past week on my face and hands. The cream feels really fresh on my skin. I don’t really care for the floral smell but it does not irritate my skin at all. So I put some on during my lunch break today and later on when I walked past my coworker, she asked if I touched up my makeup! She said my face looked really fresh! Nope, didn’t put any more makeup on! So I am happy to report this is the first compliment on my face/skin since who knows when! I also love using Nivea on my cuticles and hands. I keep a small tin on my bedside table and another in my purse. Now that I know how well it works I am definitely going to "super-size" up to the larger tin.
