I was very disappointed in this product. I did like the color and it applied smoothly and evenly. Initially I was pleased. The color was pretty and added some natural polish and it felt good. However, once I removed it, my lips were terribly dry. I tried it for a week to my detriment. My lips just got drier and drier. It does last as long as you don’t eat or drink.
Not what I expected
This is not a lip balm or anything! it leaves chucks of the colors in my lips and it looks very bad. I am not sure what to think of it, I throw it out!
Love this in Fresh Plum color!
I’m addicted to lip balms, and this new one from Neutrogena has fast become one of my favorites. The shape of it is very odd (it’s oblong, instead of the usual circular shape that most lip balms come in), but it glides on easily, feels soft and smooth, and stays on. It has just enough tackiness to it to keep it in place, but not so much that it doesn’t glide. The Fresh Plum color also adds a lovely hint of color. I could see this shade working for a variety of skin tones since it’s very light and versatile. I’m very fair, and it adds just a touch of color. It’s also great that this has SPF in it for the summer. I may pick up one or two more in other colors.
Absolutely worth the price!
Some reviews say this is expensive. But, c’mon, it’s completely worth it. After finding this, I cannot get anything else. This balm is like magic on your lips, preventing dryness and adding a nice touch of color. The feeling of the balm is very pleasant and never sticky. I recommend it to anyone, especially in cold or windy weather.
Makes your lips look good!!!!
I’m happy with this product. It moistures and the color is perfect. It’s pricey but worth every penny. I highly recommend over NYX lip butter
Product goes on smooth with a hint of color. On the neutral side with a slight shimmer. Not sticky and does not taste funny.
Not worth the price
This lip balm does everything is says it does. It’s very moisturizing and adds a little tint. Also, it smells fantastic. But 8 dollars? Neutrogena must be insane. This is a drug store item, not a makeup luxury. This doesn’t moisturize as much as the Baby Lips brand, which is a little cheaper and you get more product. Also, this product is not for those with sensitive lips.. it has a slight tingly feeling that my sister hates. She ended up being allergic and handed it off to me. I can’t believe she spent 8 dollars on this. Totally not worth it, there are cheaper, more effective balms out there. ELF makes a VERY similar balm, with similar packaging for a dollar.
good but expensive
the product seems good, but for its price? its just too expensive for this very tiny thing..i need to be very careful using this.. i hope i can see the change it says it would.. will edit my review soon.
Fixed dry, itchy, burning lips in one day!
Between my dry mouth, the sun, and a few random foods, my lips have itched and burned off and on for years. It’s been awful the last few weeks. Burt’s Bees and Trader Joe’s were two I used. They wore off quickly whether I licked or rubbed my lips or not. So, I was always putting it on. Not cool. I got the Neut. Revitalizing Lip Balm today and put it on at 2:00 pm. I didn’t think much about it. A slight itch later meant reapplication. I just now realized it’s 11:30 pm. I haven’t thought about my lips for hours! I put more on, but my lips are soft with no itch or burning. I am astonished. Yep, it’s expensive, but it’s the most effective balm I’ve found. I need a whole bunch of these.
Looks like lip gloss, is really a balm.
I started using this because of the sunscreen factor, which I need, living in Florida. My lips have always been dry and I need to keep something on them at all times, or they actually feel like they’re burning from the dryness. This is a really nice lip balm. My preferred way to use it is to take a little off the top and apply it to my lips with my fingertip, the same way I apply Vaseline at bedtime. There’s no taste nor fragrance, just soft, sheer color. I use the Fresh Plum, which looks soft and natural while providing color.
But is not the quality Neutrogena have , the color is ok nothing to impressive about thislip balm I dont buy it again and make my lips itchy for a while after use this
This is one my favorite product to wear on my lips. I usually use this brand for when I want some color and the Nivea Lip Butter for when I don’t. After trying all the colors on this brand I picked Petal Glow. I love the subtle shine and color it gives. Has a nice clean scent without the flavor. Keeps my lips moist and lasts for hours.
I love this! Great color payoff. Creamy. Love the berry smell. Just wish they did not test on animals. 🙁
The product is very good; unfortunately
The product is very good; unfortunately, the oval shape is user-unfriendly. It wears down unevenly and is a pain to apply.
Love the colors and the texture of this balm..Also love the way its shaped to curve over my lips. It does last on lips too. Great product,,But it is hard to find..Thats why I love amazon
Feels so good on your lips
This is the 3rd time I have bought this lip balm is this same color. It goes on so smooth with just a touch of color for those times when you don’t want/need to look all made up. This is my everyday, go-to lip product. Highly recommend.
The perfect hint of color
I bought my lip balm at Bed, Bath & Beyond. My lips are naturally full and it’s been hard to find a lip balm with the right shade of color and moisturizing properties, this has both for me although more moisturizing would benefit the balm. The color is a nice hint of pink which I never really thought was a good color for me but it compliments my skin tone nicely. For skin color reference I wearL’Oreal Paris True Match in Classic Tan. The only downside is a have to apply it at least 2-3 times daily if I want to keep the hint of color, ultimately I would purchase this again.
