Lasts all day and doesn’t wear off
I have been using this for about 4 years, and haven’t felt a need to switch to anything else. It is a thin formula, but don’t let that fool you, the coverage is supreme. I place about one pump in my hand and spread it on with my fingers in little sections at a time. It isn’t oily, so it washes away easily with soap and water. A little bit goes a long way. I love how it doesn’t cake or settle heavily into the fine lines.Other foundation that I have worn will come off on clothes when I remove my shirt, but this doesn’t. Also, when I scratch my face, it stays in place. I can sleep with this makeup on, and even though some does rub off on my pillow, I wake up with most of it still in place. It also doesn’t run off with sweat, unless I sweat excessively like if I am exercising or hiking. It would take an incredible upgrade to make me switch from this foundation. I am glad they continue to make it, and that there are many shades available, as I change colors depending on if I am tanning or not.
Good but the 16 hour sent
I LOVE THE PRODUCT BUT INSTEAD OF THE NEWER 18 HOUR MAKEUP, THE OLDER VERSION 16 HOUR WAS RECEIVED. CONSIDERING THE COST, I CAN’T COMPLAIN. THIS MAKE-UP IS OUTSTANDING!
Maybe I’m using it wrong…
Normally I love L’Oreal products, so I’m hesitant to believe that this isn’t my fault… Maybe I’m applying it wrong or something (though I’m not sure how that would be). However, this doesn’t seem to ever go on smoothly or lightly – even if I use it to just tint primer. It always looks a little chalky and is hard to blend.I’m not willing to write it off completely because it does provide nice coverage for some occasions, but I’m not sure this is an "everyday" kind of base.
Perfect all day wear
I’m a big fan of L’Oreal products. This Infallible foundation formula truly does last all day without fading and requiring touch ups. It doesn’t feel heavy, and it doesn’t make my face dry out which is wonderful since I tend to have dry sensitive skin. The color I chose matches my skin tone perfectly, which is sometimes difficult since I have very fair skin. I will be a repeat buyer of this all day wear foundation.
i bought it for my friend,, its a good foundation ,, not at all oily,, stays intact all day long.. just a drop of it goes a long way… 🙂 thank you
Excellent color but does not rub in well
I finally found my exact skin color, unfortunately the formula must be slightly different for the lighter foundations, causing them to not rub in as well. It really is unfortunate because these are great foundations !
My go to
Its great, I’ve been using this product for 6+ years. Goes on really easily and stays on. Its super expensive in the store (over $14!) but for $10 with some change, I bought 2!!
Works great and perfect tone for my skin .Covers smoothly and evenly and hides my Rosacea .Best of all it lasts all day long and does not smear
Stays on long and does not shine, Been wearing it for years. Great for the price. You only have to use a little..
I have used foundation by L’Oreal and have always had good luck with it. This is another good foundation by L’Oreal and I plan on buying this again.
Best I have used
Does what it says. It looks the same at 6pm as it did when applied at 6am. Very fluid application unlike my last long lasting that although liquid, was hard to apply and never lasted more than 2 hours even tho claiming to be long lasting. Excellent coverage.
The WORST foundation I’ve ever used
I cannot think of a more ironically named foundation that this. This foundation is definitely NOT infallable in my opinion. In fact, I would say this is THE WORST foundation I have ever used. I am trying to find a drugstore foundation that will get me through the next week or so until I can purchase the MAC Matchmaster, which is currently out of stock in my shade. After a major disaster with Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, I decided to give this foundation a try. I’d read online that it was good for people with oily skin. I also had a coupon for Ulta for $3.50 off a $10 purchase. So I used (or should I say wasted) it on this foundation. I purchased this in Shade 613 True Beige. I usually need more of a natural beige, but this foundation seems to run light. I could tell just by looking at it that the Natural Beige was going to be way too light. The lady at Ulta suggested the True Beige and I agreed. With my coupon, I paid 9.96 for this foundation. I tried it for the first time this morning.I like the pump. That’s pretty much the only thing I liked about this foundation. This foundation is very thick. The first time I tried to squirt some out, the only thing that came out was some light brown water. So I shook it and tried it again. Still really runny and watery. I shook it again and it finally came out decent. This definitely is NOT a lightweight foundation. If you are looking for a liquid foundation that will give you a natural look, this is definitely not it. It is thick and heavy even when it is wet, even more so when it dries. This is not a makeup that you apply and forget its on. You can definitely feel it on your face. If you have any flaws at all, this makeup will do nothing except magnify them. I remember wearing clown makeup as a kid for Halloween one year. That is pretty much what this makeup feels like on your face. It is also very cakey. It is difficult to spread and blend. It is also not at all buildable. This is a case of you cannot win no matter what you do. If you apply a thin layer, the coverage is very sheer. If you try to build it up, it looks cakey, unnatural, and pretty much awful. At first, I thought I had a good color match. When the foundation was wet, it seemed fine. But once it dried and was on awhile, it turned very orange. I cannot really comment on the staying power of this makeup, because I could only stand to have it on my face for a little over an hour. I could not wait to take it off. I really had to scrub to get it off. After I completely removed this foundation, my face felt sticky. I tried using water to get rid of it, but that didn’t work. I ended up using my Clinique Foaming Face wash before applying different makeup. The bottom line is this: Don’t waste your time or money on this foundation. For drugstore foundations, I recommend Boots No 7 Beautifully Matte. For high end, I recommend MAC Matchmaster or Makeup Forever Mat Velvet.
Make up that lasts
I highly recommend this makeup for people whose makeup just doesn’t hold up. It lasts all day like it says and powder is not required on top as it isn’t greasy/shiny. It does not irritate the dry spots on my face, in fact they seem to be clearing up easier than when I was using a different product. I will be getting this again.
I’ve been using this make-up for 2-3 years. It lasts a very long time, holds up throughout the day and looks natural. I get compliments a lot about how it looks like I don’t have much make-up on. I do dilute slightly with a facial moisturizer because I have a tendency for dry skin. The only complaint I have is that the dispenser gets clogged and if not careful will splatter and make a mess. I am now using Amazon subscribe and save to keep in stock and its great!
I’ve been using this foundation for YEARS. I have tried a couple other brands in that time just to see my other options but I always come straight back to Loreal Infallible. It is a full coverage foundation that lasts all day, what more could a girl ask for?I’m also prone to break outs from certain products. I’ve had trouble with MAC foundations before causing break outs, but this foundation is great and no break outs at all.I would recommend going to a store to see the shades in person so you can get to know what shade your skin is as the pictures on amazon aren’t all that true to the exact shades. I once bought a slightly different shade in error as the picture looked to be the right one. So make sure you remember the name of the shade that is right for you and try not to judge entirely on the amazon pictures! The only down side to this product I’ve found is that even with daily use the pump can become clogged with dried foundation at the tip. If you aren’t paying attention it can cause the foundation to spurt out and fly across the room! I am constantly finding spots of it on the walls or carpet (no, I never learn my lesson to check the pump!) and it can stain fabric if you get a splodge on there, so be careful! Some reviews have mentioned a watery texture. This does happen at first. You need to give the foundation a really good shake before you first use it. After that initial shake though I’ve never had a watery issue before. The foundation always pumps thick and creamy. I use one pump for a fairly even and light coverage all over or two pumps for a fuller coverage. I dust a little powder over before contouring and it’s always perfect all day coverage. I even use it as a base for eyeshadows as it helps it to stay in place. I have used it both on its own and with a face primer and setting spray and I honestly can’t tell a difference. The foundation stays put just as well without the primer and spray as it does with.
I look it
This is very good to cover of the dark spots. The application itself is great the only thing I should’ve bought it a shade lighter. I wear it and I look like I have a really bad dark tan. Overall I really like it
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Advanced Never Fail Makeup, Cocoa, 1–Fluid Ounce
This product is a great buy for those who wear liquid makeup. It matches my skin perfectly and I highly recommend using this product as a base on the face and then sealing it in with the L’Oreal powder cappuccino for a flawless finish. Great buy!
