Leaves your skin looking flawless!
I just started using Laura Mercier products and in my transition I was looking for makeup that resembled my old makeup, but was better quality. I used to use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and I traded it in for this product. This product is a little creamier than the mousse, but it spread much easier too. If you use a foundation brush to blend it into your skin (after using a primer) it makes your skin look flawless. I have old acne scars that I used to pile makeup on to cover up, but you don’t have to do that with this makeup. I recommend following up with LM powder and blush.
You only need a tiny dab of it.
I looked around a lot before I finally decided to buy this foundation. I had Revlon Colorstay before this one and it was just horrible for my severely dry skin. I love the texture of this foundation-I’ve never really been a fan of liquid foundations. The mousse-y feeling is nice. I just apply it with my fingers and it feels nice on my skin all day. The coverage is pretty good and it doesn’t make my dry skin worse although the driest part of my face (between and a little above my eyebrows) will still show a couple flakes this time. Yes it’s super expensive but you only need the tiniest dot of it to cover your entire face. If this ever runs out I’ll probably repurchase it unless I can find something similar but cruelty free.
Not for my dry skin
I bought this based on reviews that it was for dry skin, so why should it cling to dry patches? Well, it certainly did mine. I have found a way to mix this with some of my other foundations to actually use it and I make sure it doesn’t go on those dry areas but am certainly disappointed. My advice is to get a sample before purchasing.
Great Product – Wrong Color
I must say that the product is very good, but beware of the colors. I purchased it about two weeks ago but just starting using it. The color appeared to be a perfect match, but once applied it was much lighter than my skin tone. I will be returning this product for a different color. Overall, goes on smooth.
was exoecting more
from almost a 50 $$ foundation but it actually makes my skin look flakey which is surprising cause its a crème and expensive! but found worst so ill give it 2 stars
