Very very good if you have acne
I’ve been using it for 5 months now and after my journey of trial and errors (so many products ) , I finally settled for this moisturizer. It works best when I add a drop of rosehip, jojoba or grapeseed oil in it. I wake up with a smooth skin and no breakouts. I like the fact that it is fragrance free and very very light. I highly recommend it to those struggling with acne.
Product works well for my’s wife dry facial skin. She has been using this for a few years and is very happy with it.
My preferred moisturizer for irritated skin
I recently gave Toleriane Fluid to a friend who suffers from redness and burning sensations as well as occasional adult acne. Out of fear that a moisturizer would mess up her face even further, she hadn’t used any in years. It took some convincing to get her to apply it to her face but frankly, her skin was so miserable-looking (blotchy red) that I just made her do it.A minor miracle happened – her face not only tolerated the cream but she called me a few weeks later and told me that the Fluid had made her skin calm down and the red flareups were all but gone. This is now the no. 1 item on her wishlist for birthdays and Christmases.I myself have drier skin and use Toleriane in a different formulation, La Roche-Posay Toleriane Soothing Protective Skincare, Normal to Combination Intolerant Skin 1.35 fl but had the same positive experience. One time I used a moisturizer sample my skin reacted badly to, and the only cream that stopped the resulting burning was Toleriane.I don’t use Toleriane all the time because during the winter I prefer a thicker cream, but for the summer and in skin “emergency situations” this is definitely my go-to cream.
I love this moisturizer. It goes on so smoothly and is so light weight – almost watery – I suppose that’s why it’s called a fluid! It really hydrates the skin though and doesn’t irritate it at all, and my skin is extremely picky. It never feels heavy, it’s moisturizing while still being subtle. I never want to be without this product!
Get what you pay for… But wish there was a cheaper option
This review is on behalf of myself and my boyfriend, as he’s been stealing my lotion. I’m in my late twenties but will still break out like crazy with even cetaphil and this is the ONLY lotion I’ve tried that hasn’t had me looking like a grease monster by noon. As for my man, he’d kill me if he knew I was broadcasting to the world that he uses this, but he never goes on here anyway. He is prone to dry skin and eczema and tends to be allergic to a lot of lotions and sunscreens. So far, he hasn’t had any bad reactions, although I feel like if he were to look at the receipt, he might…
Lightweight yet effective
Like many of the other reviews I have oily, acne-prone skin and pores that get congested really easily. Most moisturizers I’ve tried manage to make my skin oily while still leaving dry patches on my face and cause my skin to break out. I started using the La Roche-Posay brand to help treat my acne (I usedLa Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel, 6.76-Ounce Tubeand theLa Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo) and decided to give this product a try since I was having great results from the brand. The moisturizer is super light-weight with a thin consistency, but it’s incredibly effective. When I first started using it I had some dry patches on my skin and within a few days they disappeared completely. My skin feels hydrated and soft, but without being oily or congested.
great for sensitive skin
I have very sensitive skin and this does well with moisturizing without being greasy. It feels light and fresh on my skin.
Great product for sensitive and oily skin.
I have acne prone oily skin and I love the light texture. But it’s pricey for me as a student. 🙁
