it doesn’t work!

The first time I put this product on my face, I thought I would really like it. The thin lotion goes on smoothly and isn’t greasy at all. However, I kept noticing that my face looked a little redder than it should.I decided to put this product to the test, and applied it to my entire body before going to the beach. We spent 3 hours at Lake Michigan on a sunny day. I did not go in the water-way too cold this early in the summer. Later that night, I noticed redness on my skin all over my body. My husband, who had it on his face also had a red face. This product I’m sure provides some sun protection, but certainly not a 60 spf. I think my skin would have fared the same had I used a copperton 8 spf.Very unreliable product-do not recommend!

I have arrived at the only facial sunscreen I will ever use

Believe me, I have tried chemical, physical block, a combination of those….all brands you can imagine….this is THE ONE. I apply after my morning serum routines (Vit C usually) have had a couple minutes to sink in. VERY smooth, absorbs right into skin and even when used immediately after an at-home chemical peel…it does NOT sting! A little goes a long way so it is also a great value.

YAY!

I absolutely LOVE this sunscreen. I had no problems with putting makeup over it – even though i saw that it clumped on my finger that I use to apply makeup, it didn’t mess up anything on my face. I’m so excited to have finally found a great sunscreen with a high SPF that does not have the typical sunscreen smell and also mattifies and smooths out your skin and makes your skin feel velvety. Also, it did nothing to upset or break out my sensitive skin. It may seem like a little but for the cost, but you only need a little bit of the product to begin with to cover your entire face. I switch between theCetaphil Dermacontrol Moisturizer SPF 30, 4 Fluid Ounce- which I use on a daily basis, and this one if I think I’ll be outside more and need a higher SPF. And I love how it is conveniently small enough so that it can fit in your purse – it has a small screw-cap so there is no accidental leakage too 😛

Alright product

I chose to give this a 4 out of 5 stars because I bought this after reading an article about skin care in your 20s and it recommended this as an everyday moisturizer. I like it because it is very think and rubs in easily, doesn’t cause breakouts on my sensitive skin, but I feel it doesn’t moisturize at all, otherwise the product is great.

No ZO, Pure PABA + Oxybenzone…

They were selling this for over thirty dollar and I could not believe the selling price since after reading the ingredients with no ZO in the mix, I checked to see the reviews on Amazon which were more misleading. They sell less chemicals in 16oz for much less money, much much less money.Active Ingredients: Avobenzone (3%, Sunscreen), Homosalate (15%, Sunscreen), Octisalate (5%, Sunscreen), Octocrylene (5%, Sunscreen), Oxybenzone (6%, Sunscreen)Inactive Ingredients: Water, Styrene Acrylates Copolymer, Silica, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Alcohol Denatured, Poly C10 30 Alkyl Acrylate, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Caprylyl Methicone, Trisiloxane, Acrylates/Dimethicone Copolymer, PEG 100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Caprylyl Glycol, Methylparaben, Acrylates (C10 30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer), Chlorphenesin, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Triethanolamine, Ethylparaben, Xanthan Gum, Ethylhexl Glycerin, Disodium EDTA, Cassia Alata (Candle Tree) Leaf Extract, Maltodextrin. These are pure chemicals that dry out the skin from alcohol to Methylparaben, Triethanolamine to active ingredients of Oxybenzone, which are top contenders on the list of EWG’s overall hazard list. I make my own sunscreen but for times when I do not, I need the same formula as I use in my organic sunscreen mix with fewer ingredients. ZO is what you see surfers put on their nose for protection. A good sunscreen formula should not have more than a handful of 90% plus certified organic ingredients and FREE OF; fragrances, perfumes, additives, softeners, thickening agents, gums, alcohol, biologically harmful chemicals like Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, UV Chemical absorbers, paraben, phthalates, PABA and 1,4 dioxane. BABO has 22% ZO with conventional not organic ingredients which is a higher amount of ZO than an organic brand like BADGER with 18.5% ZO. But ZO is not the only ingredient in BABO so there are few issues with BABO formula. For a small investment, sunscreens may offer the possibility of sun burn, pain, cancer, medical bills, pain killers, etc. that come with skin exposure to the sun.

MATTE-SEMI MATTE SUNSCREEN FINALLY!

I HATE greasy feeling sunscreens, in fact I just don’t like how sunscreen feels ! This one may at first, feel mildly slick on fingers(be sure to shake it 1st B4 application), but it absorbs very well to clean skin with a matte to semi matte finish. I have combo skin, & more Oily in warmer months. This sunscreen doesn’t make my face ‘shine’ like most do. I choose prevention, though bare skin is my favorite. I hate wrinkes more, so sunscreen is my #1 option. Also, note my skin likes to breakout=acne 🙁 and is sensitive at times to some products..BUT, this one doesn’t cause me any new acne or rashes. Yeah!!! Repeat Buyer!

Best protection on the market!

I’m a cosmetics junkie and journalist, so I do my homework before using a product. This line offers the key ingredient – Mexoryl – that is known to protect against harmful UVA rays. I used to order this through Canada. So glad it’s available here. It’s expensive, but worth it. A little bit goes a long way. I use it on my face, neck and back of my hands. I highly recommend this.

Awesome for oily skin.

I’ve been searching for a everyday spf that does not leave my skin shiny, as I have pretty oily skin, and I found it! It protects your skin really well and it looks matte after applying it. I’m glad I bought it!

Why did they change this?

It works but not as well as it’s predecessor – Fluide Extreme. Fluide Extreme was so good it actually kept my sensitive, oily, acne-prone skin clear. This stuff is just sunblock and, at this price point, not really worth it. And it leaves a rather odd powdery finish on your skin. Somewhat drying as well.

Okay sunscreen.. makes my face lighter and white

This sunscreen is okay. It makes my face white and look pasty, so I have to rub it in awhile to get it to blend in. It goes on very smoothly and does not make me too oily.

It’s okay

Not as matt as I wanted. Feels oily and is kind of shiny. Nia24 has a good face sunblock that is more matt and does not feel so oily.

Amazing Sunscreen

I have naturally oily, acne prone skin and this product didn’t irritate my skin or cause breakouts. It absorbed pretty quickly so I end up using more product than I thought I would need but I certainly felt it lasted a long time. Some people complain that it goes on pretty white but if you spend an extra few seconds rubbing it in you can’t even tell.I will definitely keep using this product and recommend it to anyone.

this stuff is great

I began using this because I was using a rather strong glycol product and was afraid my face would not remain protected from the sun. this product is non-greasy and very effective. you can wear it alone or under makeup with no problem. I am on my second bottle, even though I no longer use the glycol.

Very happy

I liked this product. It goes right in your skin. The 60 SPF a plus considering that I struggle with brown spouts. I I’ll buy it again.

Lightweight, great for t-zone combination sensitive skin

A coworker recommended this product to me and I’m so happy I listened to her. I have combination to oily skin, especially oily in my T-zones. I also have sensitive skin and am diligent about using sunscreen since I live in Hawaii and the sun here can get blazing hot. I have been using this sunscreen for almost 4 weeks now and love it. There is not much of scent and it glides on smoothly and quickly since it is liquidly and not thick. A little bit of it goes a long way.

Great for my skin

I don’t wear a lot of make up and my skincare regimen is pretty simple. I wasn’t wearing pure sunscreen before – only products with SPF in it. My esthetician warned me that I should be taking better care of my skin especially since I live in a very warm, sunny area. I was weary to try this sunscreen, because of other reviews explaining that it was thick. However, I find it to be light when used sparingly – I also mix it with my usual moisturizer – and it goes on very smooth and not greasy. I’m glad I am taking better care of my skin!

My Dermatologist told me to buy this

My Dermatologist told me to buy this Sunscreen because I have Malasma. For those of you who don’t know what Malasma is, it’s dark brownish spots/areas on the face. More commonly known as Hyperpigmentation. Usually from oral contraceptives, sunlight, or even indoor light from light bulbs, AND Hormonal changes, which I am going through right now. This sunscreen goes on and dries extremely fast and leaves your skin feeling very soft, moisturized and silky. I LOVE IT. I wish I had known about this sunscreen before. I’m supposed to use it every day, even if I’m in the house. Who ever buys this sunscreen will LOVE IT!!!!! It has EXTREME PROTECTION which I need right now for the Malasma. I will continue to use it on my face. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE!!!!

No grey nor white film left behind.

I like this sunscreen. It doesn’t irritate my skin or my eyes. I do find that it is not mositurizing enough on it own so I mix it with my daily moisturizer. This is also the best away to avoid a gray cast on the skin if you have a darker complexion. On its own, a film may be left behind but doesn’t stay for long. While this sunscreen is good, I prefer something more natural, ingredients wise. I will only repurchase if I can’t find what I truly want in a sunscreen.

My favorite sunscreen for the face

This product absolutely works. In college I was always sporting a tan. As I wised up, I haven’t tanned in about a decade. So I am very fair. I travel quite often to the Caribbean. With this product, absolutely no burning at all. It’s very liquidy so a little goes a very long way. It’s great for the face (I use on face, neck, chest and hands – I use a spray for the rest of my body when needed) as it absorbs very quickly and doesn’t conflict with cosmetics. No “white” to rub in. The skin will just soak it right up. My esthetician said it’s great for oily skin. I have dry skin so I combine with a moisturizer.Love this product. And right now it’s marked down on Amazon, so super great!!

It is really good for oily skins

I bought this product, because I heard it is good option for oily skins. My own skin is quite dry but for a reason that I dont know it breaks out if I wear any oily cream. I am very happy that this product is not oily and doesn’t seem shiny on my skin. The only cons is that for very very fair skins (like mine) it might not be an strong protection in sunny days. For near the beach I use an stronger sunscreen.

Good sunscreen

I bought this sunscreen after a lot of research. The consistency is very watery and make sure you shake the bottle enough to mix up all the ingredients. It lasts a long time and protected my face from any sun burns in Jamaica.

Great but pricey

This product is really lightweight, non greasy, and leaves your skin feeling great. But it is only 1.5 OZ and it’s a little pricey for me, so I won’t buy it again. Too bad.
