:))))

Ok, yeah, I’m sure that title is really helpful… I bought this for my dyed red hair and I think this conditioner is pretty nice. It smells really nice and leaves my hair very soft and tangle-free. I’ve only used it a handful of times, so I’m not entirely sure if it’s protecting my color yet or not, but it seems to be as bright as when I first dyed it…

Didn’t Really Work for Color Protection

I bought this conditioner originally to help keep my red hair red. Unfortunately it didn’t really do anything for color protection. However I will still continue to use this because I love the smell and it makes my hair really soft. As far as keeping my hair red, the best solution I’ve found is to mix a little bit of temporary hair dye, I use Alfaparf "Chili Red", with my conditioner and it keeps my hair continuously red and a lot less of a hassle that way because this brand of temporary dye is similar to a conditioner texture as it is.

Shiny!

I’ve been using the John Frieda Radiant Red Colour Protecting Conditioner for six months in combination with the shampoo, with one exception, see below. I like, don’t love both of them, and here’s why:The products do make hair very shiny and healthy looking, and seems to add depth and dimension to the color. It does make the color last longer. I left these products at home when I went to the beach for two weeks, and used a good drugstore shampoo/conditioner while away. On returning home, I was shocked at how my color had faded in those two weeks. Some of it was due to sun, chlorine and salt, but since I always wore a hat, and spent little time in the water, I’m attributing most of the fading to the shampoo/conditioner I was using. Yay, John Frieda! On the negative side, I have two issues. I don’t love the products’ fragrance. It’s a bit medicinal. I also have very long hair, and my other issue is that the conditioner isn’t all that effective on the dryer, more damaged ends. If you don’t mind a slightly sulfurish fragrance, and you have red hair of a reasonable length, you’ll LOVE this product. I just like it a lot.

My hair’s stlll red.

Well, my head’s still red so I’m still happy. Nothing much more to say, it’s cheap and it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. I died my hair months ago.

Love how my hair feels and looks

I’m a natural redhead, but my hair can look dull sometimes. This shampoo and conditioner really make the color of my hair look more vibrant. My hair feels soft and smooth.
