Finally! This Stuff Is Freakin’ Awesome!

This shampoo is magnificent. Use a little, suds up a lot. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and my hair loves it. I used to use Grandpa’s Bar Soap to clean my big beard, and it worked wonderfully. When I discovered there is a Grandpa’s shampoo I was quite pleased. It is everything I suspected it would be. Plus I love the scent.

Love it.

My husband and I both get flakes from time to time, this product gets rid of it fast! I like better than selsun blue and head and shoulders. We used both alternating since they have different ingredients and seen way better results with this shampoo. I get pimples on my scalp sometimes too, weird I know, but this help that problem too.

Very soft and inoffensive

Somewhat unintuitively, tar shampoos are very soft and do not dehydrate your skin as much as everything else. This one is that way too. The price is good, cleaning effect perfect, so I’m going to use it for a while. About the smell: it does smell, and not so much like pine, but more like some plastic. This is not this product’s strong point, I must say, but otoh, the smell, while not quite pleasant, is not repulsive either, and more imporantly, it doesn’t last. Half a hour after you used it, nothing’s left of its smell, so I can live with it. I would say that Neutrogena T/Gel smells better (but it’s coal tar, rather than pine, which, I think, is a bit noxious to your health). All in all, I’m glad I tried it out and I will stick to it for a while. I’ve been trying a lot of shampoos starting about a year ago, and so far I’ve found nothing better than this one — mainly because they all parch your scalp. This one doesn’t.

Funky but effective!

This stuff stinks. lmao It does seem to control my scalp issues though. I haven’t been using it too long but so far so good.
