Want to smell like you just left the salon? This product has an amazing “salon” smell (with hints of mint)-it is a great smelling product! This is also a “light” conditioner, it is not heavy like some conditioners that weight your hair down or feel greasy once you have dried your hair. This leaves your hair soft and manageable-again, NOT weighted down. I have a lot of hair, but it’s fine and coarse. This works great with leaving my hair feeling softer than usual (not so coarse) and my hair strands are thin-which I want to add volume too-this works great…and did I mention the smell?
Great Scent, So-So Volume
On first use, noticed product has a great scent. Very invigorating, also refreshing with hints of mint and fruits. This conditioner is infused with Citrus Extract and Ginseng. The Mint/Ginseng really came through. Also smelled good for awhile after the shower. As far as volume, it worked adequately, is pretty good. Definitely worked as a conditioner and left the hair softer and tamer than before. Not sure if it would be my first go-to for volume but overall it’s a good conditioner and worked good enough in all areas to satisfy me. This worked better as a conditioner for adding softness than for volume. A bit pricey but a good brand overall..
Definitely more volume, but stiff texture
My hair has been a bit abused lately and it’s been noticeably more flat. This sounded like the perfect conditioner to try, "full blown volume!" It did improve the volume of my hair and gave it more bounce, but it feels almost sticky and more stiff as well. The smell is pleasant, not overwhelming, with some citrus. It is pretty thin conditioner, so I felt like I was using much more than I normally would with other products. I have long hair, down to my lower back, and this bottle lasted three weeks of fairly regular use. I switched to my usual conditioner a few times when I felt the texture of my hair was getting too sticky, for lack of a better term.I think this would be a good one for every other shower or one week on, one week off use. The extra volume is nice, but my hair doesn’t feel very soft after use.
Smoothness and Manageability
Hmmm, I really like this conditioner because it makes my hair incredibly soft and manageable and even seems to help tame my frizziness. I have lots of baby fine hair, it’s very healthy but with waviness that turns to curly frizz in humidity it has a mind of its own. This conditioner gives me swingy commercial hair! Even my husband has noticed and commented on it, and how often does that happen? But volume, which is the whole premise this product is sold on? Not so much. In fact if you use too much or put it too close to your roots I find it makes my hair a bit limp. Buy like I said I have baby fine hair so maybe I’m a bit of a freak. But anytime you want to build volume you need to get lift at your root, at least that’s my understanding. And this shouldn’t go near your roots, it says that on the back of it.

I used this conditioner after having used the volume shampoo by the same manufacturer and the two of these products together gave me a fuller head of hair than products I’d previously tried. The conditioner went on easily and although I found the scent to be a bit too strong, I’d rather have a citrus scent than a flowery one. As I said with regard to the shampoo, it is a bit pricy, but I probably would buy it again.
Detangles my long hair
But when used with the coordinating shampoo, it makes my hair too fluffy. Like the shampoo, the scent of this conditioner is amazing, and it provides fluff to hair, which, I suppose, is ‘volume’. However, my hair is too soft to contain successfully for my job. My husband and daughter like it, but I will stick with my Beach Babe products.

The company’s description of their product has be giggling. Lavish and luxurious are not the words I’d use to describe this so so conditioner. Other that the very pleasant scent, it’s a heavy conditioner that does very little to increase the volume of my medium fine hair. It’s not at all greasy but it’s nothing special to command such a high price. Just okay.
Great conditoning and scent
The Full Blown Volume conditioner does a great job of conditioning and rinses out cleanly so my hair soft and shiny but it doesn’t leave a build-up to make my hair limp. Because of that I found my styling products work better when I use this conditioner. I also love the love the refreshing citrus, herb and fruit scent. The packaging is great, just the right diameter to easily fit in my hand, has a press to open cap and has a matte finish that isn’t slippery when wet.
Really Adds Volume
I have been using the Full Bown shampoo and conditioner together for several weeks. It is amazing how much more volume I get in my hair after use. It leaves my hair soft, shiny and manageable. I also love the subtle herbal fragrance. The conditioner rinses easily. I will definitely be buying more of this product and recommending it to friends.
Love the scent!
The Fekkai Full Blown Volume Conditioner has the most amazing lemony scent. The texture of the conditioner is creamy and lush. It rinses completely from your hair without leaving residue behind. I paired it with the volume shampoo. I did not use any other styling products with it. As for volume, I think it works well. I have fine, medium-length hair which I highlight. The combination of both these products created plenty of volume and shine, although it didn’t last the entire day. I think I might like to add one of the styling products from this line to my daily routine. I also think I might try the line for color-treated hair. Overall, I like this conditioner.
This conditioner doesn’t detangle as much as most conditioners I’ve used which makes sense since it’s supposed to add volume. I used it both with my regular shampoo and with the Fekkai Full Blown Volume Shampoo. I didn’t notice any change in my hair from my drugstore brand conditioners.
This left my hair very bouncy and curly
I have very fine long (a little beyond shoulder length) hair. I used this conditioner along with theFekkai Full Blown Volume Shampoo 8 Fl Oz. The conditioner smells nice with a “citrusy” fragrance slightly reminiscent of orange and grapefruit combined. However, the fragrance of the conditioner was more subtle to me than the shampoo. I then combed the conditioner through my hair and although the comb did not slide through my hair as good as when I useDove Pure Care Dry Oil Conditioner, 12 Ounce, the slight resistance was typical of what I find with most conditioners. It was easy to rinse out and no residue was left behind. After my hair was dry, it was extremely bouncy and curly almost as if I used a curl enhancing conditioner (and shampoo) combination. I never heard of this brand and based on the results I got, I would definitely consider buying this (along with the shampoo) for when I want to add full volume to my hair.
Smells Not so Great
My hair is fairly short, primarily grey, thin and fine, mostly straight, and limp. I do not like to spend a lot of time on my hair, nor do I expect miracles from hair products, only some slight improvement. For two weeks, I used three Fekkai full blown volume products together, the shampoo, conditioner, and aerosol styling whip, and no other products. I have no allegiances to shampoo or conditioner, but I have used the Paul Mitchell extra-body sculpting foam for over 15 years. The directions say to concentrate the conditioner at the ends of the hair, avoiding the scalp, so I did not massage in at all, working the very silky lotion from the middle to the ends of my hair. After applying, the instructions say to comb through hair and rinse thoroughly. Not being accustomed to keeping a comb in the shower, I did not do this. My hair really felt soft and silky afterwards. What I did notice was a somewhat unpleasant smell to the conditioner, sort of chemical, which is not nice after experiencing the great fragrance of the coordinated shampoo. In my opinion the price at around $14 for 8 ounces is too much, although with my short hair, it will probably last several months.
Doesn’t weigh down, but also doesn’t untangle
This smells wonderful, like a soft version of the original Clairol Herbal Essence shampoo of the 70s. It is light, though tinted yellow, and because of that might yellow my gray hair, but my biggest beef is that it did not untangle my hair. I comb it before washing in a gentle shower, and the top layer of my almost chin length bob has some damage on the ends. Other conditioners, including the Bumble and Bumble Thickening one untangle it, preventing further damage, but this did not. On the upside, my hair is nice and full, after using the Volume Whip and air-drying, followed by Redken Iron Shape and a light ironing to smooth and curve.
This is a great conditioner and makes up for what the shampoo lacks. I’m not sure how much volume this actually adds, but I like the consistency and clean feeling. Full Blown Volume rinses off nicely and smells wonderful. Also, you don’t need to use very much, so a bottle will last quite a long time.
First – this conditioner smells AMAZING. Not super sweet or chemically fragrant, but instead soft mint and fresh citrus blend to create a subtle scent you’ll love to have around all day.A little goes a long way with this product, which means this will last awhile!I noticed a difference between my budget conditioner and this one after just one use. Soft, manageable hair even after facing the heat of the blow drier.
Nice scent but not sulfate-free
I’ve used Fekkai products before and really liked how my hair looked after using it. And the smells of their products are always so fresh and clean. I like the Fekkai Full Blown, but I can’t honestly say that it makes my hair look any fuller than it did before. But I would buy it again just for the scent and the fact that it did make my hair clean. If you color your hair, be aware the are sulfates in this shampoo.
Nice conditioner, but don’t see much volumizing going on
Oh well, my hair is very, very fine and in my advanced years getting thinner all the time, so I guess volume is a pipe dream for me. As for the conditioning part, I thought it worked quite well for me, pour some on your hand and work it into your hair and rinse (that’s a no-brainer). I LOVE the dispenser and how easy it is to pick up, pour and close back up without any mess, and for that I’ll add on the extra star I was going to take away for no volume. There is a slight scent to the conditioner, but not overpowering. All in all a nice product, but a wee bit on the expensive side for my frugal household.
Good but not magic
I used both this and the shampoo from the same line for a week and here’s a summary of my experiences:It lathers really wellIt smells FANTASTICLeft my hear shiny, soft and manageableDidn’t weigh my hair downDid it give my very fine hair amazing body? Nope! But did I really expect it to? Once again, no. If you are born with fine hair there isn’t a magic potion you can take to change your genetics. So overall? It’s a quality conditioner that smells great and leaves my hair in nice condition but not magic, and honestly I can find conditioner to do the same for a fraction of the price, so while I like it I, personally, wouldn’t buy it.
After using this Fekkai Conditioner for about a week I noticed my hair was much healthier and well conditioned. When using the conditioner however there is no heavy feel and it rinses out easily. It seems to work well on colored hair making the hair much softer and manageable. This does however have a very unique scent which you get used to.~The Rebecca Review
Very nice conditioner
This is an excellent conditioner. This is my first Fekkai product and I am very pleased. It feels very thick and rich but does not weigh hair down. Made my hair very soft and definitely helps w/volume. Has a very nice fragrance as well.
I love this conditioner
I love this conditioner! I purchased it on a whim, because it is a lot more expensive than the conditioners I usually buy from Wal-Mart, but I wanted to treat myself. I’m so glad I did! This conditioner is thick, creamy, and has an amazing smell: lemon verbena! It makes my hair so soft and silky, and my boyfriend loves the way it makes my hair smell! I’ve decided to invest in the matching shampoo, as well. Although this item may be a bit pricey, it’s worth every penny!
Smooth, Silky Volume
A truly wonderful conditioner. Really does what it promises, with no residue or build up left on hair. When applying it is not thick or heavy but light and easy to rinse off.Smells like a herbal shampoo to me when applied but when hair is dry it just smells clean, with no heavy perfumes. My hair is very fine, dry and coloured but this leaves my hair silky smooth with lots of lift and volume.Great product, will be using again and looking for others in this line.
Yes to full volume
Full volume is what you get. Make sure you use this conditioner with the matching shampoo. I found I need a tangle free spray after using the shampoo and conditioner as it can be drying, which is where you get your volume because it is not laden with greasy things to weigh your hair down. It works really well and you should couple it with the volumizing mousse, to give you fuller hair. It smells good and I would recommend!

This conditioner worked well. It gave my hair some bounce. I have fine thin hair so nothing short of a wig will give it much volume, but as far as volume conditioners go this product was very good. It has a nice but not overpowering smell. It didn’t leave my hair oily, which I hate, although I did do as they suggested on the container, which was to put the conditioner mostly on the ends of my hair. All in all, I would buy it again and even try their other products.
I really liked the smell
I received this product free from the Amazon Vine program. I really liked the smell, texture and packaging of this conditioner. I was hoping that it really would add volume to my hair, but it did not. In fact, it left my hair more flat than many other volumizing shampoos I have tried. Unfortunately, I would not buy this product-it just didn’t work for me.
