Basic face cream.
I bought this on sale and it looked natural and good. Well I have combination dry skin and for the first 2 weeks it irritated my skin which was fine because sometimes that happens. Well after the 2 weeks it stopped irritating but I noticed it was only hydrating when applied. My face was so dry in the dry spots like I put nothing on a few hours later. yet my oily tzone was like an oil slick. so It didnt help either problem at all. I finished the jar and noticed nothing different. Disappointing. I will not try anything els from this line as they have all been misses for me so far.
Having normal skin I may not be the best client for this beauty product. Now at nearly 70 years I think my face could use a wrinkle preventer using a mystical ‘Swiss apple stem cell’ therapy (chuckle).I followed the instructions by doing a thorough face wash I then applied the goopy, thick cream.I was please to notice it is not highly perfumed. I was not pleased to notice that it does not blend into the skin.To begin, I applied Eclos Cream in the morning before going into the garden to work. Not only does it block the skin from perspiring, my face had small bits of grass and whatever else was floating around during the weeding project.I went inside to wash my face thoroughly only to discover that it still felt sealed in oil after washing. But, at night I tried again to give Eclos a fair trial. This time I applied a teeny, tiny mount before bedtime. The general feeling was the same. The skin does not breathe properly. I no longer feel like ‘regenerating’ my skin in this way. Sorry Eclos is not for me. Sorry I feel I must give it only two stars. The very best ‘regenerating’ cream I have tried and can recommend is “Am/Pm Anti-wrinkle Complex.” You might try this if you find Eclos less than helpful. I got it from Amazon as well.
Excellent product but beware of price
I agree with all the positive reviews, this product really works! It might not erase 20 years of damage completely but it certainly smoothes fine wrinkles and makes the skin look and feel clean, velvety and radiant. Beware of prices though; brick-and-mortar stores (like Target and Walgreen) carry Eclos products 50% cheaper than some sellers on Amazon.
Immediate *Hydration* & Non-Greasy!
I like the ECLOS MOISTURE THERAPY FACE CREAM. I have combination oily/dry skin and I occasionally breakout, and my skin tends to become overly dry from certain acne products. This happened recently and I had a dry patch that was flaking on my cheek and so I applied the ECLOS CREAM and instantly my skin was moisturized and soft feeling without being greasy. Of course it went back to dry and flaky after I washed my face before bed, but I put it on my face the next day and night and within a few days the dry patch was gone. There’s a nice fresh scent to it and it doesn’t cause me to breakout or clog my pores. The reason I only give 4-Stars is because you still need to put on an SPF on top of it if you’re going to be outside in the sun since ECLOS doesn’t contain a sunscreen — otherwise it would be 5-stars!
Skin Therapy with Plant Stem Cells
Even before I ordered this product, I was excited about it. This skin moisturizer is made with stem cells from a very interesting apple called the Uttwiler Spatlauber apple. After reading about the specific apple and the general concept of plant stem cell products, I was ready to try it.I cannot say that I have noticed a significant change in my skin over the past 3 weeks of using this cream. The only thing I have noticed is a slight change in skin texture on my forehead when comparing my own “before” photos of my face. Once or twice I used the creme under my eyes, but it was a little too strong for my sensitive, under eye area. The cream has a very pleasant, mild smell. This may not be a plus for those with sensitive noses. It is rich in texture, but does not sit heavy on the face. I did not notice it after it was applied in the morning. It also did well with my night application. Prior to using this product, I was using very basic oils on my skin to decrease the amount of toxins that might be absorbed into the skin. This product has done very well in my skin care regimen.I might consider using it again depending on how my skin responds after I return to my previous regimen of simple olive oil, rose water, and jojoba oil. We shall see…
I am astonished. It really works – helped reduce appearance of scars
The Eclos moisture theraphy regenerative cream has blown me away with the results. I use to have a terrible itching/scratching problem all over my body. Sweat and itching around the joints is a nightmare for itchy people. I’ve since stopped scratching, but I now have scars I’ve acculmauted over the years. Just for your reference, I’m 24, male.My experience with the Eclos cream:I use them on my chest, the elbow pit (Not sure how else to describe), and legs. The reduction of inflammation and dark spots is noticeable. My skin feels tighter and smoother. I really don’t know how the apple stem cells work, but it has done wonders in a short period of time. I’ve used it for two weeks daily before I sleep. The little jar actually has a generous amount. You only need a little pinch to cover an area of skin. It’s not like body lotion, which requires a lot to sink into the skin. A little bit of Eclos absorbs and goes a long way.Amazing. At this price, and if you have skin problems or just looking to tighten your skin, I highly recommend this.
Nice Face Cream
I do like this moisturizer. When I read that is clinically proven by 100% of the people tested to visibly reduce lines and wrinkles, I was like heck yeah, I’m picking this up. You have to use it for a few weeks to see any results so I will have to update this review after my trial period with it but I can tell you what my pros and cons are after using this product for a couple days:PROS:1. Clinically proven to reduce wrinkles. (awesome news, hope it works)2. It has a thick and creamy texture and leaves my skin feeling baby soft.3. It has a warm tingling feeling after you apply it. I like it; others may be bothered by it but I like to think of it as a sign it’s working.CONS:1. It stinks something awful. The smell will stay with you even after you have put on make-up. It has a perfume-like odor and it is bothersome. It will take some getting used to if I am going to continue to use this.2. It does not like my make-up or my make-up does not like it. If you wear foundation, the foundation will not blend in well after applying the moisturizer. It looks sort of blotchy or uneven afterwards. Normally I use Olay Total Effects 7-1 Anti-aging moisturizer. It works well with my make-up and I have never had a problem. It may just depend on what type of foundation you use whether this moisturizer will work well with it.UPDATE: I applied this moisturizer again today but used a smaller amount. It blended in better than it did yesterday and actually worked better with my make-up. That old saying less is more definitely applies here.
Nice, fresh-smelling cream
I have been using this as a night cream, since for me, it feels a little too heavy for a day cream. This is a great, fresh-smelling cream without the harsh, scary chemicals that are in so many skin creams. It is also reasonably priced. It definitely hydrates dry skin and softens the appearance of wrinkles. I am now curious to try some of the other skin products from Eclos.
eclos regenerative cream
ONLY USE IF YOU WANT HEALTHY YOUNGER LOOKING SKIN INSTANTLY!!!!! Seriously, if you smear it on, it acts like a peel. Pretty gross, but the dead skin pours off. Just smear it on, massaging it in, wait alittle while and massage off the dead skin! Will be warming to the skin and alittle redness no more than a healthy glow! At 58 this is my kinda cream! BEST UNDER EYE CREAM OUT THERE.This works better than their eye cream!
Long Lasting Hydration for Mature Complexions
Have very dry skin and for reference have used everything from Lancome’s Nutrix, various Clinique moisturizers, L’Oreal, Nivea and extra virgin olive oil for my very dry complexion. This cream is slow absorbing and very emollient. The resulting hydration has a noticeably long duration and is quite an effective defense against the look of dry and patchy skin. Nothing looks more aging than skin that’s thirsty for hydration, because this will emphasize any and all wrinkles on that mug of yours (or mine). Like another reviewer commented, the scent may be an issue for some, and especially so because it’s on your face. Any scented product that close to your nose is intrusive if it lingers, and this does. The fragrance is lavender/apple and it’s not strong but it’s not light either, and would have liked it better had it been unscented. Having facial hives currently, so my skin is in a reactive state and felt a slight reaction upon application (but no redness). As far as the ingredients, this is mostly composed of various fruit oils and an extract from a rare Swiss apple. Oils are all the buzz now, and that’s for good reason. Oils are the most hydrating substance that you can use for your skin and hair. If you are ultra dry like me, oils are your constant companion. For the money, this really is an excellent value. You get a full two ounces and many comparable creams, costing twice as much or more, even give you less product. The cream comes in a cute, although plastic jar, and it’s a souffle formula. One star off because the scent can or could be a bother.
Good for the money
I like this product because it contains natural ingredients, feels light, and does not leave a thick residue. It is non greasy and leaves me feeling refreshed and my skin soft. Overall a good cream.
Wonderful texture, fresh scent. organic! My new everyday moisturizer!
This moisturizer is wonderful and soothing, even on my very acne prone skin. I’ve been using it for a month now, and not only have I had no breakouts, my skin has seriously looked fresh and moisturized. It has a light scent that is a little unusual, very green and clean smelling, and even my husband likes the smell! Also, it is a generously sized jar- while I will definitely be re-ordering this, to use as my new go-to product, I won’t have to order for a while- a little goes a long way, without stinting, and absorbs beautifully into the skin.
creamy and moisturizing
The Eclos Moisture Therapy cream is super thick, rich, and creamy. At first it was too heavy for my oily skin because the weather was still warm. Within the last week or so, the weather has dropped dramatically, so my face started to get super dry and flaky. I started to use this cream again, and it moisturized my face superbly. My face feels very soft and super moist. I will definitely use this cream as my winter go-to.
Worth Trying, I like it
I haven’t been using this on my face every day because my skin has enough natural oil. I have been using it on my arms (where I have some excema) and my chest area almost nightly. My excema would normally be getting worse this time of year (Fall) because of the dry weather. It is actually doing fairly well, its a bit better actually. My chest’s skin is very smooth and firm feeling.I enjoy this cream because it doesn’t leave my feeling greasy or oily (even on my face) after I’ve put it on. I also really like the smell. Not only is it different than the weird old-lady chemical baby power smell that so many facial creams have, but its rather pleasant. It has a refreshing ginger sent–and it isn’t one that lingers around too long. Which I also really like about it, as I don’t like smelling like a bouquet all day
Pretty Good for the Price
While Eclos regenerative cream is not organic the cream is loaded with lots of essential oils such as rosemary, chamomile, ginkgo biloba extract and lots of other goodies which I like. There is none of the toxic ingredients commonly found (cheap) in most moisturizers like parabens, mineral oil, and sulfates. The cream is nice and rich and goes on smoothly and left my skin feeling moist throughout the day, but then in the evening my skin felt a bit on the dry side but nothing lasts all day. I think it’s important to really like the scent of any cream you’re gong to put on your face and I found the scent subtle and fresh but not something that particularly appealed to me. All and all I think its a good reasonably priced moisturizer.
I have been wanting a good moisturizer for a long time and found it in Eclos! To make a good thing even better still, this is an all natural product. As others have noted, this is a DAMN GOOD product! It is gentle without being oily and it is light without being devoid of sensation. Just apply a few dots on your skin (target areas being face and neck) and you will be DELIGHTED at how soft your skin will feel! It will keep you feeling moist all day!
Definitely Leaves Skin softer and moisturized
This cream first off is a little heavy. You definitely do not need a lot but it smoothes into the skin easily. Heavy but a very nice silky texture.I put it on in the mornings and evenings after doing a facial exfoliation scrubbing (usually I only do this harsher scrub three times a week) and truly believe it has made a huge difference in the lines around my smile and between my eyebrows. What I especially like about it is all the things that aren’t in it and that it uses plant stem cell for the regenerative therapy rather than anything else chemically created. Someone mentioned the smell and I really don’t notice an overpowering one at all. However, I do use quite a bit of different lotions all with differing smells so maybe I’ve built up a resistance to odd smells. The price is extremely good for a regenerative lotion. I pay more for my night and daily cream that I use every night.
A review about the smell
I’ve only used this twice so I will come back and update once I’ve used it for a few days or a week to review if it does indeed make the skin look better, but I wanted to say something about the smell. I have found many creams like this have a very strong headache inducing perfume smell. This does have a strong smell but it does NOT give me a headache, it reminds me of cucumbers or something. I can’t quiet place it. The smell does not bother me at all and I am a person who is very bothered by smells. I’ve stopped using many skin creams and shampoo’s due to smell alone. It’s a kind of natural fresh smell. Reminds me of cucumbers. So far so good.
My wife has been using this moisturizer for about 3 weeks now and really likes it. It is a creamy moisturizer with a pleasant, herbal scent. It absorbs easily into the skin (face, neck) without being sticky or oily. She is planning to continue using the Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerating Cream because her skin appears brighter and smoother. Even though the label says “AM + PM” she uses it only at night because it does not have sunscreen. I think she looks great so if you want the same results, give it a try.
This is a new brand for me and it arrived at a great time. I just completed a skin peel and no matter what I used on my skin it felt dry and cakey. This was instant delight. It’s very creamy and goes on smoothly. I loved the ingredients (natural, natural, natural). No petroleaum based anything! The only thing I could ask for is something that lets me know exactly what kind of Vitamin E is in it. My husband is allergic to the tocopherol acetates so he can’t use it until I know.I’ll try to drop in and let you all know about longer term benefits, but immediate benefits under the worst of conditions are spectacular!
lightweight.. doesn’t break out my sensitive skin.. overall satisfied.. not oily, and moisturizes well.. the smell is ok. price seems reasonable for what you get
Tightens and Makes Your Skin Feel Amazing
Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerrative Cream is one of my favorite out of all of the creams that I have tried. I have very sensitive skin that is mostly oily with slightly dry areas around the t-zone. Therefore, I am very sensitive to creams. Some of them irritate my skin, some of them turn my face into a greasy mess. This Eclos cream did not. It is a thick, white cream that is best applied lightly. It makes my skin feel super soft and moist without it being greasy. I have also noticed a tightening in the skin on my neck (which has started feeling looser in the past year or so).As for the scent…I really like it. It is supposed to smell like apple, but I find it more of a faint lemon scent. It is a little strong when you first put the cream on, but the scent fades after wearing it for a little bit.I also love that this is an am and pm cream. I have been applying it mostly before bed after washing my face. I occasionally apply it in the morning too when my skin feels dry. This cream is sold in a small round 2oz container. It lasts for awhile though since you only need a little bit of the cream at a time. Here are the claims of this cream and my opinion on whether or not it lives up to the claims:-Hydrates and Brightens: Yes! It definitely hydrates the skin and my skin appears brightened and healthy when I am wearing it-Helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles: I can not attest to this officially since I don’t have wrinkles yet. I am using this cream for prophylaxis.-Promotes smoother, more even texture: I’m not sure exactly what they mean by “even texture”, but it definitely makes my skin smooth and soft. For the current price of $18.24 I will definitely be buying more of this cream. I highly recommend it.
I have older, dry but sensitive skin, and often the products for dry skin cause me to break out. This cream was light and non-greasy, and gave me soft skin without making me break out. I used it morning and evening without any negative side effects. Worked well. I’m going to look for it after I finish this sample. The only negative is the scent which is sort of citrus/medicinal. Not terrible, but it’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
So Far So Good
I’ve only had the opportunity to try this cream out once so far. So far so good I’d say.I started out using a small amount and was surprised how smoothly it went on, and how much coverage I got with just a little.Only downside is that it has a peculiar smell. Not bad, just odd. I could smell it for many hours after application. This product is supposed make use of plant stem cells. Sounds promising, but I guess I’d have to use it a while to see real results. Stay tuned. The price on amazon seems pretty reasonable for a product of this type. If the product works well, then it will be a real bargain.
Eclos Regenerative Cream
I have never heard of this brand. I have extremely odd and problematic skin. Rosacea, fine lines, sun damage and wacky dry spots. I have to be extremely picky about what goes on my skin. Atfter researching it and finding that this is made by Freeman (had a good experiences with their hair care products), I thought what the heck?I started this on a Sunday morning and used it for a few days (about ten days) The first thing you notice is the smell. It isn’t unpleasant but it lingers. My skin did not get smooth but kind of sticky. I did see some pore shrinkage and some sun damage (broken capillaries) on my cheeks fade. I have not noticed the fine lines reduced. Time will tell.Pros:Helped with pore shrinkage, sun damage and rosaceaPrice is very good considering other brandsMy sensitive skin tolerated it.ConsSmellNot so much with skin smoothing
An Apple a Day . . .
After using Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream for about a month, I have decided that this relatively inexpensive cream will definitely become a part of my daily regime. While I cannot say that I have a lot of wrinkles and therefore cannot testify to any before and after miracles with regard to diminishing lines, I will say that this cream is a dream to put on day and night. That may not seem like much to say, but for me it is a big deal. I also useL’Occitane Immortelle Precious Cream, 1.7 oz.and another product calledSea Chi Creme 4.17oz/125ml, both of which are almost three times the price of this Eclos product. During the month that I used the Eclos Regenerative cream, I did NOT find the need to use the two other products that I usually use. The Eclos product performed just as well!I am allergic to heavily scented creams and lotions. The Eclos Regenerative Cream does have a scent, but it is benign to my overly sensitive nose. This is a good thing because I would not be able to even try out this product if its scent was overpowering. The product contains apple stem cells and the packaging claims that they have been clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and stem cells in two weeks. I will say that this product did promote a smoother, more even texture to my skin just like the product literature claims.Bottom line? The Eclos Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream is a good product at a good price. I have used it day and night for a month and have enjoyed fresh feeling skin with no allergic reaction. I would buy this product regularly. Recommended.Diana Faillace Von Behren”reneofc”
lose one star for the scent..
New cream for me but it seems already to work nicely. I gave it four stars rather than five because of the lemony smell. Yuck. It smells like a household cleaner. Already though, it doesn’t clog my pores like the Reviva Organic Antioxidant and Texturizing Day Cream.I did read plenty of rave reviews for this before I made the purchase. So far so good.Just really don’t like the smell for a face cream. Thankfully, it doesn’t linger.
a medium-weight moisturizer
Paraben & sulfate-free; no synthetic fragrances or dyes; no mineral oil or petroleum. I applied a good amount every evening after washing my face and my skin truly was feeling less dry.Formulated with extract from Uttwiler Spätlauber, a Swiss Apple harvested since the 1800s and characteristic for looking newly harvested 4 months after picking. Search the name on the internet for all sorts of articles going back to 2009/2010. Oddly I couldn’t find the apple in the list of ingredients:Water,Glycerin,Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil,Dimethicone,Cyclopentasiloxane,Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter),Ethylhexyl Palmitate,Glyceryl Stearate,Polysilicone-11,Palmitoyl Glycine,PEG-100 Stearate,Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract,Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract,Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract,Centella Asiatica Extract,Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract,Curcuma Zedoaria Leaf Extract,Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract,Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract,Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract,Symphytum Officinale Leaf Extract,Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract,Tocopheryl Acetate,Amyris Barsamifera Bark Oil,Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Wood Oil,Cananga Odorata Flower Oil,Cymbopogon Martini Oil,Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Oil,Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil,Sorbitan Stearate,Nylon-12,Silica,PEG-10 Dimethicone,Polysorbate 40,Isohexadecane,Ammonium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate,Polyacrylamide,C13-14 Isoparaffin,Laureth-7,Xanthan Gum,Lecithin,Magnesium Aluminum Silicate,Disodium EDTA,Carbomer,Phenoxyethanol,Caprylyl Glycol,Sorbic Acid,Sodium Hydroxide
Older Skin? Not Anymore!
I’m closing in on 60, and in all this time never found a moisturizer like this. Only have had it for about a week, and already see big changes in pore size reduction and decrease in lines and wrinkles, along with a brighter look. It does smell of the essential oils – mostly chamomile, but that evaporates in about 20 minutes. For a cream that is supposed to tighten skin up, it doesn’t have the nasty drawstring pull that I’ve always gotten from products making that claim. It’s economical, too, as tiny dots of it in about 5 places on the face, and 1 or 2 on the neck are all you need.I’m truly astounded at the results because they are actual changes to my skin, not just fake cover-ups, stick-ups, or artificial moisture that rubs off. No, my skin is actually changing in less than a week of use. Amazing. Totally.
Pleasant moisture cream
This cream is very smooth, pleasantly scented (I can’t stand strong scents) and doesn’t leave a greasy feel. I don’t know that it has made much of difference with my lines and wrinkles, but they haven’t gotten worse!
