Beautiful well made brush
This brush is well made and beautiful, especially for the price. The wood bristles are smooth and gentle on the hair. All around, this is a great brush for the money.
I really like this wooden brush. I feel like it doesn’t get stuck in snarls and I lose less hair. The wooden pegs also feel really good on my scalp.
Great brush for tangle prone hair.
I have been looking for the right brush for my tangle prone hair for years and i am thrilled by how well this brush works! The massaging bristles are awesome and I love the natural look and feel of the brush. I had read other positive reviews on amazon before purchasing and am happy to report they are all accurate.
I have other brushes but my EARTH THERAPEUTICS Brush Wooden Pin – Large always seems to disappear. it works like a comb and it doesn’t pull your hair. This is our second one.I have been satisfied with this brush for over a year. I plan to order another one! soon. I recommend this brush for short or long hair.
LOVE THIS BRUSH
MY DAUGHTER HAD ONE OF THESE AND I TRIED IT AND LOVED IT. SHE HAD GOTTEN HERS FROM A LOCAL OUTLET STORE (FOR 4.99). UNABLE TO FIND ONE AT ANY OF THOSE STORES, I CAME TO AMAZON. THIS IS A GREAT BRUSH ESPECIALLY FOR MEDIUM TO LONG HAIR. IT DOES NOT PULL ON THE HAIR AND IT FEELS GREAT. I PURCHASED TWO AND ALTHOUGH I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO GET IT AT THE CHEAPER PRICE 9.99 IS STILL A GOOD VALUE TO ME.
i used to have the macadamia brush but it broke and this one is the replacement it feels great on my scalp like a massage
Best brush I’ve ever had!
This is undoubtedly the very best brush I’ve ever owned. The handle is just the right length, and very comfortable to grip, while the wooden bristles feel simply wonderful. I have very fine, waist-length hair, that loves to tangle and this brush just takes the tangles right out without pulling. It’s light enough not to tire my arm, but heavy enough to add weight to a downward stroke through my hair. And, at least IMHO, it’s beautiful, too. I love paddle brushes, and I bought a Bass brush at the same time I bought this one. The Bass brush no longer has wooden bristles, while this one does. If you want a paddle brush, this is the one to get. My heartfelt thanks to the other reviewers!
I’ve been trying to grow my hair out and since getting this brush I experience so much less breakage! My hair is really thick and hard to get a brush through at times, usually my brushes would be covered with hair but this one gets thru it easily and with barely any hair left in the brush, my hair is becoming long shiny and healthy!
Great Big Brush for Long Locks
I love this large brush as it is probably the best I’ve had. The handle is a nice grip, well made and sturdy. The wooden pins are primarily what I wanted it for as they help distribute oils through the hair while brush and also help soak up excessive oil as well. It is soft on the scalp but no too soft that it is squishy. Like Goldilocks, it’s just right!
Wouldn’t choose anything else
I had one of these brushes for about 5 years with no problems. Loved it. It feels so nice.I recently decided to replace it purely for (possibly imagined) hygienic reasons, as I like to keep my brushes in a drawer but for a year because of living conditions it was kept out in a dusty dusty environment and gunk tends to accumulate at the base of the bristles. I bothered with only a little research and decided very quickly to buy another of these brushes. First time I used it I knew I’d made the right decision. The wood pins feel good on the scalp, the brush is the perfect size for long hair (and still lovely for short hair), it brushes easily, it’s easy to hold, and it’s pretty. And did I mention it feels nice? The only problem I ever did have was, when trying to clean it out (intensively), the bristles actually hurt my fingers. Also if your hands are oily the handle can slip. But these are minor inconveniences, because this brush feels nice. Also, it feels nice 🙂
Beware if you have a sensitive scalp
When I first started using this brush, I found it incredibly rough on my scalp. I’ve since gotten used to it after using it for a year. I don’t notice a lot of hair static, but I also try to prevent that with styling products so I can’t tell if the wooden bristles make a huge difference in terms of static. I like solid wood handles because they don’t break as easily when dropped on the bathroom floor. It’s a decent brush, but I’m looking into a different, more gentle brush.
