Honest reviews

good value for a lot of product

As a disclaimer, this is the first and only cream blush I’ve tried so my review is on general performance as a blush, not comparing it to other cream blushes. Secondly, when I bought this it was only 3.99, making it a great deal, although it seems ELF soon caught on and upped the price. At ELF’s current RRP of about 6.99(? I think) I’d say it’s still worth it.Now onto the review. The colour for Heartbreaker is more pink than the advertised picture. It actually looks like a very natural flush colour on light to medium skin tones. I get a tiny amount on a fingertip and dab/blend that onto my cheekbones for a subtle tint. You can easily build up for a brighter colour. It probably fades a little by the end of the day but I can’t really tell given my cheeks’ tendency to go pinkish on their own.The texture is good — not powdery, not greasy. It smells kind of like bubblegum mint, which I like, but could put off people who are sensitive to fragrances. The jar is quite bulky and heavy, which is the only downside I can think of, but if you don’t plan to carry it around, this is no big deal. I actually once dropped it and the jar was fine, but the lid casing cracked (the black square part); fortunately the lid itself was still OK after removing the black casing (and it reduced the bulkiness! unexpected win). There is a little ‘freshness sealer’ cap under the lid which I’ve always kept on because I’ve heard how cream blushes tend to dry out. So far, this hasn’t happened and I’ve owned this for about half a year already and use the blush at least several times a week.

Love it

This is a great product! It is a MUST BUY item. It’s really awesome and color is great. You can’t beat the price! Not to mention, the components is very simple and easy to use. LOVE e.l.f. products.

Excellent for fair skin!

As someone with fair skin, I find most blushes to be too overpowering for my face. However, the Studio Cream Blushes are very sheer and easy to blend making them fantastic to use! If you have darker skin I would say to layer another blush on top though, as these may not have enough pigment for you.Overall, Heartbreaker is a gorgeous warm coral and I would definitely recommend it!

Very nice!

I have these in heartbreaker and tease. Both colors work very well for my very pale complexion. This is a cream to powder formula that applies great with a stippling brush (I’ve used it with both the ELF stippling brush and the ELF small stippling brush and they both work wonderfully for that). They do faint some during the day, hence the stars, but the colors are really beautiful on the skin and you get a HUGE quantity in the jar. Great purchase!

cute pink color

Although it is cheap, it is pink good coloring and beautiful! The natural color that a cheek becomes red at time after a bath will be made!
