Curel Daily over the Years…..
I’ve used Curel lotion for years now and am sticking with it. Oh, I have tried other products throughout the years, but always come back to Curel. It doesn’t leave a residue on my skin, but it sure soothes and moisturizes so nicely. My search is over…..Curel wins with satisfaction.
Fantastic stuff, a little goes a long way!
I love lotion. I buy lotion by the truckload, usually because my stuff gets quickly swiped by my friends & family. (Or because I dry out faster during the summer & winter.) This is one of the 3-4 brands that I’ll regularly use when I’m at home, although I’ll admit that my usage depends greatly on what is on sale at the time & how much I’m willing to spend. Curel normally isn’t that expensive, so I use it quite frequently when I’m looking for something that isn’t a perfume lotion. (In my experience, lotions for specific perfumes usually aren’t that great at long-term moisturizing.)The original formula of Curel does have a nice light fragrance to it, so if you are sensitive to fragrances for whatever reason or just want something fragrance-free, there is one made without the fragrance. The lotion pretty much does exactly what it says. It moisturizes well & lasts a pretty long time. It isn’t quite 24 hours for me, but then I’m prone to drier skin than most people I know. I will say though, that a little bit of this stuff goes a long way & depending on how much you slather on, you will want to give it a little time to dry before going about doing what needs done. (Or wait at getting dressed if you use it on your legs or body.)Overall, this is a product that works. Regardless of how many times I’ve purchased it, it works each time & has won a spot in my “buy regularly” column for lotions.
Does a good job but not for extremely dry skin
My mother swears by this stuff but quite honestly, it just isn’t enough for my dry skin. Hers is like mine and this stuff helps her hands, but for me, Gold Bond is the ONLY thing that totally relieves my dry skin AND heals it. Isn’t that the goal – healing? Anyway, it’s great for me in the summer months to use this version of Curel, but during the winter, forget it. I’m definitely a Gold Bond gal now! Recommend!
The Best Moisturizer
This is the most effective moisturizer! It is non-greasy and very healing. I’ve been using it for about 10 years and out-performs every other moisturizer I’ve tried. From head to toe, it is the best!
Curel Daily Moisture Original Lotion
Very good product. Curel Daily Moisture Original Lotion, 20 Ounce, impressed as more than our regular Vaseline product line. Seems to have the right amount of ingredients to provide a gentle, yet effective moisturizing effect on areas were used. Nice product, glad that I heard about it here in Amazon. 4 Stars.
My Favorite Dry Skin Lotion
I love this lotion for a lot of reasons. I like that it is not greasy and goes in quickly. I like that it is not too overly fragranced. It is just an easy lotion to apply, doesn’t sting on really dry skin, and does a great job.It is not for super cracked or deep dry patches, although with a lot of application, I’m sure it would do a good job. This particular size is great for keeping on your nightstand or in your bathroom. It lasts a long time. My feet and elbows are always screaming for a little moisture, especially in the winter.I have tried other lotions and always come back to Curel.
Great moisturizer without the grease
I love this hand (and foot and elbow) lotion because it moisturizes deeply, lasts all day, and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling on my hands. Seems to me that’s exactly what a lotion should be, but others brands just don’t aren’t able to accomplish the job. Curel does, so it’s a great value.
LOVE! My new favorite, go-to moisturizer.
I had been using Alba Botanicals body lotion forever, it seemed, as it helped my KP to disappear but then Alba changed the formula – a formula I didn’t much care for. I tried several lotions thereafter (LOTS of money down the drain) but found this.Yes, it’s been around awhile; no, I’d never tried it before. The first time I tried it I was in love with how soft it made my skin feel. Well, after a few weeks I noticed my KP was started to go away, as well. It didn’t work nearly as quickly as the Alba did in that respect, but it has worked none the less. This is my new go-to lotion. It leaves my dry, Colorado skin nice an moisturized and has made my “skin bumps” go away!
