- Instantly covers discolorations, fine lines and wrinkles, while helping to improve skin tone over time
- A foundation focused solely on tone discoloration and age spots
- Provides beautiful even coverage
Great if you plan on not moving a muscle or adding more makeup
This product is “not ready for prime time” and shouldn’t be sold. I bought this product and tried it several times. First of all, it does glide on smoothly, and provides a sheer coverage. When you re-apply coverage to even things out, the originally applied layer peels off . The product did not cover the pores in the nose and made pore-holes (eww), when I reapplied, the holes grew. Also the product settles into wrinkles around the eye, and makes the skin around your eyes look aged and old. I tried to apply moisturizer around the eye, and the product crumbled and peeled off. Bottom line, the Cover Girl company is selling a dud. Don’t waste your money.
Flawless Face, spa-like scent, excellent color match for my skin
I have fair skin. When you look at my face you may not think that I would use such a light makeup shade, but I do. I have always had difficulty finding a drugstore color match that did not oxidize into a orange or tan shade on my jaw or chin. When selecting a new foundation or powder to purchase, I choose shades in Fair, Ivory, or Light. As we all know, every brand and product type, seems to have their own idea and interpretation of what a really *REALLY* light skin tone is named. Lucky for me, the COVERGIRL & Olay foundation and pressed powder that I was sent, seems to be a great match for me. I have a cool tone, light skin type with pink undertones.I always have dark circles under my eyes, as I have been an insomniac ever since I can remember. I also am a mommy to a happy and energetic toddler and do not get much sleep during the day to refresh my overall appearance from my lack of nightly shut eye.The Cover Girl Tone Rehab 2-in-1 foundation (110 Classic Ivory) is housed in a sleek container and the white ribbon-like Olay Serum is laced though out the product. When I first opened the product I immediately noticed the refreshing spa-like fragrant and was drawn to the scent. I used sparingly a total of 2 pumps on my entire face. I patted a few dots with my ring finger along my delicate under eye area. I suggest using the ring finger as it has lesser strength than the other fingers and you will not be putting as much weight and tugging of the eye area skin.I then applied the Cover Girl & Olay pressed powder in 310 Fair. I liked the look of the mirrored compact and it felt nice in my hand. The powder was smooth and set my foundation well.I can wear this all day, without it rubbing off and my skin stays smooth and soft. I do have naturally oily skin so I was a tiny bit shiny at the end of the day. I would suggest a touch up here and there with the powdered compact to maintain a matte, shine free face.I also might recommend a translucent powder to set it further for those with really oily skin. Perhaps Cover Girl and Olay would also do a colorless translucent powder to set the face with after using these. My overall skin condition: I do have some blemishes from time to time, but my skin is not heavy acne so I am not sure how well the coverage would do for someone who needs to camouflage a lot of blemishes. I do have large pores, these 2 items did make my face look smooth. I do not have any wrinkles so I cannot speak on how well this works for wrinkle prevention.Overall, I really like the product. I did not have any break outs from the formulations. I have used these for 3 weeks. I normally use Mineral foundations but will continue testing these out. I would love for Cover Girl and Olay to make these same 2 products in a natural pressed mineral compact and mineral foundation.
This makeup is exactly what I have been looking for… once I got the tone right it goes on oerfectly. Like velvet, but doesn’t feel like you have make-up on. I would recommend this to anyone who needs some coverage and has medium to dry skin. I don’t think I will ever switch back to my Clinique or Lancome products again. And it has nothing to do with rice, it is all about the performance!
Better than a Tinted Moisturizer – More Color Choices!
I’m a true believer in the skin care regime of “moisturize, moisturize, moisturize” and started to use moisturizers daily (at first) maybe twenty years or so ago. (Now it’s twice a day.) And I’ve been reading in “More” magazine (for women over 40) that twice daily moisturizing is the best way to slow down the inevitable. One of their suggestions this year is to use a tinted moisturizer in place of a foundation. But most tinted moisturizers have a limited range of colors (usually three — light, medium and dark) which can pose a problem.Coincidently, I recently for the first time tried using the Cover Girl/Olay concealer and discovered what a great product it was. Then it occurred to me – isn’t a foundation with moisturizer added the same thing – or at least really really similar to – a moisturizer with tinting? Hmm, it was definitely time to give the foundation a try. I did. I love it — and what I loved best was that now I’ve got more color choices with the CoverGirl line than probably any other similar product. And, better yet, there’s one that matches my skin tone much more closely than my old expensive foundation. So I went ahead and ordered the foundation (and a creme blush!). The foundation is remarkable! The first thing I noticed was that I needed to use much less of the CG/Olay foundation for the same effect. Even as little as one stroke of pump delivered more than enough foundation for me. The consistency is lighter and smoother than my old product, and even the color is a better match for my skin. This is good – but the real test is how it holds up. It’s been quite warm and humid here, but the CG/Olay foundation looks much better at the end of the day. And best of all — I save money — a LOT of money. This is truly a five star product for me!I’ve been using Lancome foundation for years, but have decided I love the CoverGirl/Olay combo much more — farewell Lancome — I’m leaving you for a new and better product!
I’ve never used this brand before. This is better than I thought. It works well with my skin. I like this foundation. Good product.
Overall: pleased with the results. Minus: did not last all day
I have used various Covergirl products for a long time. I like the products and I like the reasonable price. I have a dark spot on one of my cheeks that I always try to cover up with make up. The Covergirl & Olay foundation did a nice job lightening my problem area and making it almost invisible without a thick layer of make up. In addition to the color the foundation has ingredients that hydrate the skin, so when I removed make up at the end of the day my skin felt soft.I am attaching a collage of three photos labeled 1 through 3 under customers photos:Photo #1: The first photo shows Buff Beige foundation in my hand so you can see its color and creamy texture. When I put foundation on my face it felt nice and not greasy and spread evenly.Photo #2: As I mentioned earlier I have a dark spot on my cheek which I used to illustrate the coverage this foundation gave me. I am attaching before and after photos so you can see the more even color of my skin in the second photo.Photo #3: The foundation comes in an elegant tall skinny bottle with a smooth action pump that gave me an even amount of make up every time I used it.The only negative I can think of is that the coverage did not last all day. I needed to reapply the foundation once. My dark trouble spot is an area that I am likely to brush when I use the phone, so I suspect that caused it to come off during the day.The Covergirl & Olay foundation comes in 14 shades of color from Ivory to Soft Sable, so everyone should be able a color that works well with their skin. I used Buff Beige.Overall, I am quite pleased with this foundation and I am using it almost every day.Ali Julia review
Good Combo Product
Provides moderate coverage without looking cakey. Goes on smoothly. Good product for a reasonable price. Difficult to select the best color online but I am satisfied.
I usually wear Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging in light. I love that foundation. I decided to try this because I’m tanning and will need a bit of a darker foundation in a couple more weeks. I ordered creamy natural and it’s just one-shade darker than my normal "light" that I get. The first time I applied it I put way too much on my hand. I think I pumped it 3 times. Don’t do that. Start with one pump. I wiped the majority of it on a towel and wasted it because it is so smooth and a little goes a long way. I mixed a little of it with my existing foundation to match the color to my skin a little better, and it does a fantastic job evening out my skin tone and giving me a flawless look. I’m very happy with the way it applies and appears. I can’t wait to see how good it looks when I’m a bit darker from tanning. It looks a little heavier than Almay, but that could just be the tint not matching me perfectly. I love Olay products and this one appears to be a winner for me.
I purchased the Cover Girl & OlayTonerehab 2-in-1, Soft Sable 175 because I had been using Cover Girl Smoothers , Soft Sable, 775, for years…and "loved" it. The disappointment in the new foundation was the color. It’s nothing like the color of theSmoother. The Smoother Soft Sable had a deep, almost mauve tinge whereas this new Soft Sable has a yellowish, or camel tone. As a matter of fact, I will be calling the company to advise them of the important difference, and that they should not call the color of this new foundation "Soft Sable," since it’s misleading to long time Smoother’s users.
love this foundation
This foundation is just as nice as all the much more expensive foundations I’ve used. Goes on easily, good coverage without feeling "weighty" on my face. Blends nicely. Great product!
The texture of this foundation is awesome. My issue with it is that the colors are very off. I wear creamy natural in other CG products so purchased this in the same. It is very orange and terrible.
I am a die-hard fan of Clinique foundation and have used it for the past 10 years. I have tried random things along the way and always go back to Clinique. I have combo skin which has been becoming drier as I get older. I am 31 and have decent skin with a few fine lines starting to show. I was nervous and excited to try this. The smell is a little strong for my liking. I prefer no smell at all. The texture is a little thicker than I am used to–more like a cream. But it goes on extremely smooth. The foundation blends well and has a moderate coverage which STAYS put! I love that it is improving my skin as I wear it. I am definitely going to keep using this foundation.
COVERGIRL and Olay Tonerehab 2-In-1 Foundation
I received this foundation to try as part of group that tries new products. Olay Covergirl tone Rehab foundation is great! The price is fantastic and it has the anti-aging properties build right into the foundation! It hydrates and improves skin tone over time. It comes it 14 shades too so I was able to match my skin tone perfectly. I don’t have to put a moisturizer on my face before either. I Love the fact that while wearing foundation it is improving what’s underneath. It really does make my skin look better. Every night when I take it off my skin looks great. What a change from regular foundation! Thanks Covergirl and Olay for another fantastic product. I’m going to keep using this everyday.
I love this foundation. Is much better than I thought it would be. My skin has not been flaky since I started using this.
Cover Girl does it again!
I really like this foundation. The color matches my skin tone perfectly. It goes on smooth and doesn’t feel or look heavy. I’ve used products that were 3X as expensive but this is the best foundation I’ve found.
Great price, great foundation!
This is the best foundation for any skin type especially middle age skin. I have compared this to higher end department store foundations that cost triple the amount and they just do not measure up. It refines your skin and actually improves the texture of your skin without heavy overly made up look.
Holy Grail Foundation
I have extremely dry skin and foundation usually makes my skin flaky and looks very unnatural on my skin. I tried the cream version of this and I liked it, but didn’t love it. It was too thick. This liquid version is perfect. It blends easily and plays well with others. I use a brush to apply it that has been swirled in a bit of bronzerTarte Amazonian Clay and Annatto Body Bronzer Amazon Bronze 0.70 ozand I mix in some color correcting primerL’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Color Correcting Anti-Redness Primer, 0.68-Fluid Ounceright on the brush. Works great and I don’t use very much at all. I just use a dusting of powder on the T-zone to set it and it’s good all day long. Doesn’t feel like I’m wearing makeup at all.
Gives a smooth finish.
I always use this make up and I hope they never discontinue it, but they will because eventually they always do. I stock up.I love the pressured dispenser – you can get all of it out and waste none.
Arrived on time but the color was a little to dark. I should have ordered #105 . I like the feel of the makeup. Stays on good and amazon has a great price.
I have always been a covergirl. Even after trying department store products I still prefer covergirl. This one lasts all day. No greasy feeling. Nice complexion all day.
Too thick for me.
First, I don’t like wearing makeup. But I tried this anyway. It comes in an attractive bottle. It looks quite nice. But it is so thick that it just felt heavy. While trying it, I spilled a little down the side of the bottle. I couldn’t wash it off without scrubbing it with liquid detergent. The bottle still has some remainder of the makeup on it. I wonder how one would remove it from the face.
light yet it covers and is easy to apply. this is definitely my makeup from now on..try it for yourself
Good for dry skin.
I have dry skin and foundations that tend to get powdery after they settle they make me look older. I tend to settle for BB creams for this reason, but when I need more coverage this covergirl 2-in-1 works well.
I just received this product this week. I love the way it feels on my skin when I put it on. It gives complete coverage and it doesn’t make my face feel greasy after wearing it all day. Great price too!
66 year old granny
I am a 66 year old granny that doesn’t want to scare children so I”ve been using this make-up for awhile. The coverage is good, not greasy or packie. I have roscea and I like the coverage. A more natural coverage than alot of make-ups I’ve tried.
I’ve used this foundation for the last year or so. It goes on smoothly, provides great coverage for my blemishes, and protects my skin from the elements. I’ve found my new foundation!!!!
