The magic marker tip became coated with the sunscreen I apply and stopped working so I threw it away and went back to my pencil.
Im not sure if the one I got was old and a bit dried out, but it really doesnt come out smooth, or at all. i find with eyebrow markers, if I cut a bit of the point off, that seems to help things flow. I can clearly see the liquid rising up the marker, but it never adequately goes to the tip.It is a nice shade of very light blonde though, and I do mean REALLY pale. My favorite eyebrow marker in terms of application and lasting a long time, is just too dark, so I was hoping this would be my new one. But alas, I am still on the hunt for a light colored eyebrow marker that actually works.
I like it
I have naturally med-dark blonde hair. I first purchased this eyebrow marker in Arizona at an Ulta. Since I have all the stuff to dye my eyebrows, I was really happy to find something that was way easier. It will last for 18 hours or more, unless you are really sweaty (working out, etc) and then needs to reapplied. However, it doesn’t run, smudge or flake off during normal use. There are a lot of mixed reviews and I wonder it is a quality control thing… I still have the one I originally purchased at Ulta months ago… so when it quits, I will open this one purchased through Amazon. I will update if there are any issues. Honestly, I love the color… it’s a bit dark, but I like that. It’s not too dark. the other thing is application… you literally swipe it on… in hair motions… not a "drawing" motion or it will look like a painted on line. The swiping action makes it look more like natural hair lines, even up close. Like I said, if I have any issues with this one, I will update my review!
no color in this product works for me
blonde was invisible. Medium brown was very dark. I have light brown eyebrows – does anyone else? Hard to find anything in this shade that doesn’t come off in 15 minutes.
This does look a lot like liquid liner, so I was glad that I got the color brown, rather than black.
This BrowMarker is part of my daily routine and I love it!
I love this BrowMarker! I have been using this product from the past four months since I dyed my hair from blonde to red. I was struggling to find an eyebrow pencil that had a reddish hue and not just brown. I found this at my local Ulta for $19.95 and it has lasted me 4 months when used daily. I just got another marker this week as I noticed the other one was finally dying. While this product is touted as a ‘marker’ it does remove easily with normal make-up remover. I found it easy to correct the marks if I messed up as long as I did so within a minute of application. The marker is very ‘blend-able’ and I am able to use it in conjunction with a powder-based eyebrow pencil if I choose.I noticed the other person who reviewed the product complained of it clogging up with sunscreen. This product is a marker and much like you couldn’t write on a wet/oily surface, the same is true here. I did have some minor problems applying the product if I was sweating or humidity was really high. This was easily fixed by patting the area dry and applying a very light dusting of powder. Periodically, I have had to clean the marker tip with a tissue or make-up wipe if I found that my other make-up/moisturizer was clogging the tip.One suggestion I have for this BrowMarker is that near the end of its lifecycle, store the unit upside down. The device is essentially a felt tipped marker and this will draw the dye to the tip for easy use. And if you want to prolong the usage even more, gingerly wet the tip of the marker as needed.
NOT AS EXPECTED !!!!
I THOUGHT THE BROWMARKERS WERE ALL THE SAME, BUT THIS ONE WAS NOT. THE COLOR COMES OUT WAY TOO FAST TO TRY AND APPLY CORRECTLY. AND I DID NOT LIKE THE TIP OF THE PEN; WHICH, I THOUGHT, WAS WAY TOO THICK. WILL NOT PURCHASE THIS, AGAIN.
A little disappointed
This brow marker worked well at first, but after using it a handful of times, it seems to not dispense the liquid unless you hold it tip down. Try applying this to your eyebrows that way, just imagine it! I had ordered two of these and wish I had tried out one before. Oh well! I’m back to my old Eyebrow powder with the little brush.
