I hate face washes that leave you skin fealing just as oily as it felt before you washed it, which is what this scrub does. I buy scrubs to clean my skin! This scrub is aweful. Maybe it does the “anti-wrinkle” job, but frankly I can’t stand to use it more than the 3 times I tried, so I will never know. If you like a CLEAN feeling after you wash your face, go with the Clinique Exfoliating Scrub. It works VERY well, and leaves your skin feelign fresh, bare, and clean. I should have known better, if it’s not broken DON’T FIX IT! 😉
clinique 7 day scrub
This product is harsh and very drying. I have very dry mature skin and have found that skin like mine needs to be polished not scrubbed. Pots need to be scrubbed, not skin.
When I cancelled it.I didnt realize that it is on the way. When i received it wow.The bottle look great. The scrub is creamy but it didnt over moisturize you skin.It leave your skin soft and fresh. So thank god this product on my hand, i will buy more from this brand.
I love this product. It is great for all ages, even mature skin like mine.It scrubs delicately and efficiently. The skin is very soft and smooth after use.It really makes the skin look healthy and livelier.Definitely highly recommended.
Great scrub and ecanomical
Really good scrubbing power and you only use a little so its not too expensive. Works which is all that really matters but I didn’t put love it because as others said it would be amazing if it was a wash too.
Gentle Enough for Every Day
I’ll be honest, my face needs a good scrub at least once a week, maybe even twice. When the Clinique specialist tried to sell me on the 7 Day Scrub, suitable for daily use, my first thought was that it wouldn’t get the job done. My second thought was that if it could get the job done, it might cause my sometimes sensitive skin to react in a very negative way. Lucky for me, I received a sample and I am now addicted to this scrub.I have combination skin–at least this is what the experts tell me. I tend toward oily. My face needs a good scrub once or twice a week.7 Day Scrub is a thick white cream with small scrubbing beads and it comes in a green tube with a flip cap–perfect for the shower shelf. It has a light, pleasant fragrance. I keep it in my shower for an easy to grab morning scrub. As with all scrubs, keep it away from your eyes and don’t use it if your skin has a breakout. Clinique suggests that you can tissue the scrub off, but it seems like this will leave a layer of the cream on your face. I rinse. It does rinse of easily. This definitely takes care of the roughness. My skin feels much smoother with daily use of Clinique’s 7 Day Scrub. I haven’t noticed the disappearance of any fine lines, but maybe my lines aren’t as fine as they need to be.More aggressive scrubs have a tendency to collect in my eyebrows and I find myself rinsing and scrubbing to get all of the little beads out. Clinique’s 7 Day Scrub rinses away easily and I don’t get those little brow beads. If you like a good scrub, I’d definitely recommend that you give Clinique’s 7 Day Scrub a try. It’s a great addition to my daily routine.
soft, especially after using harsh zit cream
I have random breakouts, after using drying medicine, i need to get the dead skin flakes off! This did just the trick, there is A LOT of tiny scubbers in here, most other creams just have big chunks or granules that do nothing. This is like the finest sand mixed with a lotion. After you need to use toner, as this is a SCRUB ladies! not a cleanser, so I don’t get why people gave it 1 star! you don’t know how to use it, do some research!
Love it! Exfoliates without being harsh
Love it! Exfoliates without being harsh, and so creamy it leaves my face soft and moisturized. My favorite face wash! BTW, it’s only $17 if you buy it from clinique directly.
For All Skin Types
Clinique’s 7-Day Scrub Cream gives you soft, smooth skin that looks and feels amazing. The name implies that you use it 7 days a week, but really should only be used about 2-3 times a week. The exfoliating grit is pretty gentle, but still gets the job done. I use my my hands to massage it in, rather than a washcloth or sponge, but you can use whatever works best for you. Make sure to avoid acne or any open wounds, as major pain will occur (as well as contaminating healthy areas of the skin with bad bacteria as you move the scrub around your face). This is great for any skin type, although oilier skins might want something harsher and skins with ailments (like rosacea) wouldn’t want to use this product (to avoid irritating the skin).
use it before a cleanser
There are a lot of grains so it is not as liquidy as other scrubs (like Philosophy), so it stays on your face and you don’t have to scrub as much (or else it will hurt when you risen it off). Because the scrub are tiny beads, they don’t hurt or scratch your face like the nut shells in St. Ive’s Apricot scrubs. The downside, it is meant to be used before a cleanser because the scrub leaves a slightly oily feeling in the skin and skin may look a little flaky before moisturizer. I tried this scrub with different cleansers, not as good. It has to be this scrub + clinique 3 step cleanser and toner according to your skin type, so it washes off the oily layer and wipes off the dead skin from the face. The moisturizer can be anything. I can see a noticeable difference after using it 2-3 times. My skin is brighter, smoother, and have more of a glow.It is the best scrub out of Biore, L’oreal and some other drugstore brands I’ve tried so far. Only con is it’s not a scrub+cleanser so you can’t skip the cleanser when using this, but the effect is worth it.
