Leaves hair soft but…
I used Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Total Care Nourishing Conditioner and have a few pros and cons. Pros: use a small amount, good coverage, smells nice, leaves my hair soft. Cons: seems to make my hair fall out (another brand did this as well) but not sure if it’s the conditioner only or a combination of shampoo and conditioner. So, mixed reviews. I like the product but don’t like losing my hair. Since I have a lot of thick hair, it hasn’t affected me much but I don’t want to continue losing it just in case.
Not for fine hair
I found this product worked as advertised. It had a mild and unoffensive scent. A very small amount of the product goes a long way. While I noticed a reduction in breakage, I wouldn’t use this product again. After a week of use my hair never quite felt clean. It was heavier (but not greasy) and a little dull. I felt like I had product in my hair even though I no longer use any type of mousse or pomade. For my very fine hair the product was successful but not pleasing.
Worked well for me. Quite thick . . . and pink, too.
This product is pretty good. While I won’t say that my hair is suddenly superhealthy or that it has improved body because of this conditioner, I will say that the product hasn’t caused any damage that I can see. The conditioner claims to be “Total Care Nourishing” with “nutrium 10” (a “moisture complex” of vitamins), but I wouldn’t necessarily trust that claim, considering that a shampoo is designed to be used in conjunction with the conditioner. That notwithstanding, the product did a serviceable job at a decent price. It’s very thick, with something of a pink-and-lavender color. Note that the product is not specifically geared towards women or men. With regard to shipping, expect that the bottle might arrive with plastic wrap around it and some product leakage, sort of what you experience when you take toiletries on an airplane and find that they leaked due to air-pressure differentials. No big deal, but something that might figure into your buying decision.
It’s conditioner, alright.
The product itself looks luxurious, kind of iridescent and rich-looking. It doesn’t smell terribly nice. And the package opens ON THE BOTTOM which is a real nuisance, especially given that the bottle is smooth and slippery when your hands are wet. You’ll be fishing this off of the shower floor more than once. The results are acceptable but not phenomenal. I’d like to have been impressed. The weird package design is something of a deal-breaker.—This does leave your hair looking nice especially after a week or two of using it.
Love this Conditioner
I loved this conditioner, CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY Total Care Nourishing Conditioner, Despite its arrival leaking in its container, which I have mentioned before, I would definitely use this conditioner again. My dry, damaged hair, at my age of 60 years old, is long and wavy. I like to wear it down. It is still one of my best assests — I was a strawberry blonde growing up, and the color was commented on regularly. Of course it is FAKE now–I dye it, but it is still pretty when I have it well conditioned .Yes, I like to throw my hair back and shake it around like a supermodel does, and pretend I am in my twenties. I look like an idiot with short hair. Sorry if it is inappropriate in your opinion, to have long hair at my age. ;)As my husband says re my supermodel fantasy, “Sure, that and a time machine set back 40 years or so, and you will be all set!”Oh! He’s a funny, funny guy.So, at any rate, no matter if you have weather-beaten, dried out hair, over-dyed and long, which is also old and brittle, this product, CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY Total Care Nourishing Conditioner, WILL work for you, and quite possibly the 20 year old supermodels in your family as well!thanks, jean
Nice conditioner, careful if scent-sensitive
I have fine, thick hair, and this conditioner works very well. I do make sure I get it all the way through all my hair. The scent is very heavy, however. The Vine packaging did not work for this product (and for the shampoo as well). It arrived with so much leaked from the bottle that I could smell it when I picked it up. It was a real mess to clean up.But the conditioner itself does work well.
Not the Best Choice for Me
For the last several years, my previous shampoos and conditioners were mostly PH balanced and all natural. These CLEAR beauty products have a “common thread” between the shampoos/conditioners, despite have slightly different smells. They are most abundant in ingredients that may initially detangle, but are drying and irritating on my hair and skin with accumulated usage/exposure. It is clear that these products are not good for me to continue using. Not the outcome I had hoped…
Well, it’s conditioner
No complaints here in regard to how this conditioner does its job. It smells nice, and hair is more full after using. It’s pretty useful because you won’t need to use a ton to have it do the job. Performs exactly as advertised.
Pros and Cons
The “Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy Total Care” is a new product. The label calls the hair conditioner a “therapy”as it gently conditions and nourishes the scalp and hair by restoring the scalp’s natural moisture balance. The conditioner is formulated with Nutrium 10, an advanced moisture complex of vitamins and nutrients including vitamins B5, C and E, sunflower, almond, soybean, coconut oils and aloe vera to leave the hair strong from the root to the tip.My hair did feel softer and looked more silky after using the conditioner. However I needed more conditioning liquid than normal to make a lather. The manufacturer recommends using this product daily. I believe this is unnecessary for most people.
I will review this conditioner along with its shampoo, CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY Moisturizing Dry Scalp Nourishing Shampoo, 12.9 Fluid Ounce (https://www.amazon.com/gp/vine/product?ie=UTF8&asin;=B007RTR8A2). Just to let you know, I copied and pasted the review from the shampoo (which I reviewed first) and adjusted some words and the link to the shampoo.I received the shampoo, then the following week ordered the conditioner. I put up my other hair products, so as to allow these products a chance to prove themselves to me. I began using them both on Sunday; today is Wednesday. My hair has been very soft and manageable; it’s naturally curly and has been very easy to comb through after my shower. So, I would say that I was pretty happy with the results.Until this morning. Something really curious happened. When I opened the shampoo bottle and turned it upside down to pour into my hand, a liquid came out that wasn’t the shampoo. It was very watery. Yes, I’m positive that the bottle was closed yesterday and that nobody opened it. There was perhaps three tablespoons of this watery stuff before the shampoo came out.I washed my hair and reached for the conditioner – which, by the way, has its opening on the bottom of the bottle. The same thing happened! First, some type of liquid came out, then the conditioner.I’ve never had to shake a shampoo or conditioner before, so I’m not sure what happened. Either way, I won’t be using it anymore. It did a nice job, though, except for the liquid issue.
Hello Soft Beautiful Hair and Goodbye Dry, Itchy Scalp…
I have been using this conditioner for a week now and I think it works really well. My normally dry, itchy hair & scalp feels much healither & softer now. It’s summer and my hair & scalp get pretty dry and itchy this time of year but after using this conditioner for only a week, my itches are gone. My hair even looks better when I style it.The smell isn’t bad, I actually think it smells pretty decent. I haven’t cared for some of the scents from this brand but this isn’t bad at all.I really like this conditioner and I would recommend it.
does the job
My hair is long and fine textures and tangles easily. This conditioner did the job of getting out the knots without ripping the hair. It is light in smell, even though it contains coconut, there is almost no fragrance. If you have short hair, about one teaspoon full in the palm of your hand will be enough. With my shoulder length hair, I needed 3-4 squirts of produce to get full coverage.I like the shape of the container. It is narrow enough to fit on the very small shelf in my shower stall. The cap is on the bottom base, so the product squeezes out easily because of gravity. There is a very large thumb press style opener, which makes it easy to use, no lost or dropped caps. The narrow style of the bottle makes it easier to hold then some larger, heavier bottles. The smaller size will be used up quickly for me, so that is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.All in all, a good product that does the job.
A pretty good, inexpensive conditioner
This conditioner is thick, rich, and quite heavily scented. You don’t need to apply much. I doubt that the vitamins in it actually nourish the scalp–I believe you need to eat vitamins for them to have any effect on your body. I have medium-length, fine hair, and this conditioner worked as well as any I have ever used. However, I’m not very picky about conditioners. I expect that the way the bottle opens at the bottom will become convenient as time goes on. The bottle will always be turned upside down, so I won’t have to do that specifically to get out the conditioner when there isn’t much left.
My hair never felt so soft…….
I absolutely love this shampoo & conditioner…..I have long, thick wavy hair & am always trying different products to keep it soft & smooth. This stuff is great….I can’t attest to the ‘nourish your scalp’ claim, but I do know how it makes my hair feel & smell-wonderful! I usually leave my waves to dry naturally, using a leave-in conditioner, but with this-I don’t need it. I think I’ve tried just about everything on the market-from the cheap to the Salon, high-priced & I am very impressed with Clear Scalp. I will definitely be looking for it when it hits the stores.
Best Conditioner I’ve Ever Used
This is by far the best conditioner I have ever used. It outshines ever much, much more expensive brands. It leaves my hair manageable and soft. I think the most noticeable difference I have seen from this conditioner is the shine my hair has now. I am almost thru my second bottle and have been using it for about 2 months. I am completely in love. I hope that in the near future they release styling products to correspond with this hair care system.
I have the kind of hair that needs a product like this
I go dry at the first hint of winter heat and dry means sore and uncomfortable. This is a message your scalp while cleansing product that feel luxurious yet is really very beneficial. What a delight.Smells as refreshing as it feels and this winter was not a nightmare with the dry hair and dry beanie top(scalp)I like this product very much and would suggest it to friends and family.
this left my hair feeling clean and soft for more than 2 days! (yes, I waited that long to check it’s softening time…LOL) and I was very impressed at the wonderful scent it left in my hair. would use again!
Silky and smooth
I thought this product worked pretty well. Had a nice smell and left hair feeling soft and smooth after using conditioner. I do think my hair felt stronger and better after using the product. There are some other conditioners on the market that are as good but this was up there with my favorites. Contains Nutrium 10. I’d buy it. 4 stars.
An excellent conditioner that I highly recommend. It’s really wonderful. You’ll really enjoy it. Some days my hair isn’t that bouncy. This conditioner makes it more bouncy and lively.
Works Well; Doesn’t Weigh Hair Down
The Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Total Care Nourishing Conditioner works, and works well. This product goes well with the Clear Scalp’s line of dandruff shampoo (with pyrithione zinc), and has a pleasant, light scent. A little of this product goes a long way, which means it’s economical in its fashion . . . and best of all, it doesn’t weigh the hair down with repeated use.I’d definitely recommend this product to anyone in need of a good conditioner, especially as it does work with the same line’s dandruff shampoo.Five stars, highly recommended.Barb Caffrey
accidentally clicked on the conditioner when I meant to buy shampoo. I don’t use conditioner as the ones I’ve tried, and I’ve tried many, usually leave my hair limp and greasy, and they take forever to rinse out. This was a happy accident. I gave the Clear scalp and Hair beauty conditioner a try and I love it. A light pleasing scent begins the experience, the bottle is shower friendly, and the conditioner is smooth and silky. After conditioning the conditioner rinsed out easily leaving my hair feeling clean, frizz free, and shiny. I am a convert and will be using this conditioner from now on! Love it.
Does the Job
I was very impressed with the Clear Shampoo and decided to try this product in conjunction with it.It’s very nice and does the job without leaving too much coating on the hair. It has a pleasant scent that is not overpowering. My only problem is with the container. I had to wonder why the opening is on the bottom instead of the top like the shampoo. Perhaps that’s being a little picky, but you do have to make sure it’s closed properly so it doesn’t leak out.
Very nice hair conditioner. Left my hair soft, silky and smelling great. My hair is long and curly and tends towards knots. This got them all out and left my hair in great conditioner. Highly recommended.
I’ve tried a few of the “Clear” brand conditioners. Like the other ones I’ve tried, this one is lightly scented and I would have to say that I like the scent. I’m not sure exactly what the scent is but it is pleasant. The consistency of the conditioner is okay but I prefer thicker conditioners. It rinses out well enough and leaves my hair soft.I like that the spout is on the bottom because this helps the conditioner settle and makes it easier to get the last bit of conditioner out of the bottle. While I like this line of conditioners I have to say that there does not seem to be a significant difference between the various ones in this line.
Made my hair soft
This conditioner worked well on my long, thick hair. I am using it along with a non-sulfate shampoo and have no problems with it. It is pretty thick, so you don’t need to use too much. My hair comes out soft with few tangles. The bottle is smartly designed with the product coming out of the bottom. The bottle does not leak or get clogged.I took one star off because I am not that fond of the scent. Also, I wish the ingredients were easier to read. They were located in the back of a peel off label and printed backwards.
I was pleasantly surprised!
I liked the shampoo and I really liked this conditioner, as well. It did a great job moisturizing hair and scalp without being too heavy. The second time I used it I tried an experiment. My daughter had been talking about using salt water as a product to get that tousled beach wave look to your hair, but that she added conditioner to her salt water spray so it wouldn’t dry her hair out. I made a large bucket of salt water and Clear Nourishing conditioner and dunked my head in it, figured the salt water would be good for my scalp. Then I just let my hair dry. I have dry naturally curly hair and the result was fantastic! I like this conditioner very much, with or without the salt water. I recommend it!
Rather like it
This review is going to be the same for the corresponding shampoo, as I received both at the same time to try out. Since I can’t (more won’t) use each individually to see their own merits because it’ll play havoc with my hair, the review is going to be for the both of them.OK. First things first. This produces a lot of lather, which I discovered when I had to clean off the shampoo bottle that had leaked during travel. This is nice since I like lather, but I want to note that hair cleansing products do not need to produce bubbles in order to work. (Very few need to produce bubbles and bubbles/lather is actually from additional bits that have been added to make it look like it’s working. Old trivia factoid.) If you’re one of the people who dislike having a lot of lather, be prepared for this. (I know that there are people out there like this.)The shampoo and conditioner smell pretty nice, which is a bonus. I’ve smelled some shampoos that either don’t have much of a scent or they’re so overwhelming that no amount of other bonuses can make up for the perfume stench. Clear’s scent is neither under or overwhelming. You can smell it if you stick your nose into the washed hair or right after you’ve used it, but it’s not going to be smelled across the room. What I really liked was that this didn’t weight my hair down overly much. My hair feels nice and soft, without feeling heavy or greasy. I’m pretty finicky about shampoo/conditioner products since many will either undercondition (making me look like a brown haired Little Orphan Annie) or they’ll undercondition and I’ll end up with hair that looks lank and greasy. (I’ve been pretty happy with my Garnier Nutrisse products for the most part, although lately it feels like they’ve changed the formula slightly.) What I also liked is that after using the combo a few times, I don’t get a weird buildup feeling to my hair.I rather like this overall. I’m still not sure if I’d overall replace my normal shampoo and conditioner, but I’m willing to give this a longer trial period. I’ve already purchased more of this product with my own money, so I suppose that this is as good of a recommendation as any.
It Is A Good Conditioner – Recommended
This Clear “Total Care Conditioner” works well on my daughter’s hair. We have tried quite a few of the Clear hair products and this conditioner is one of the better ones. This has a light clean scent and leaves hair nicely manageable.Recommended!CFH
Despite the description, this is a pretty average conditioner. It is thick but goes a long way as you don’t need to use a lot of product to condition your hair. It left my hair soft, shiny, and clean but a lot of conditioners do that. I liked the scent, but the packaging is less than stellar. It opens at the bottom and it leaked on the shower floor.
Leaves my hair soft, less dry and not weighed down
I previously triedCLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY Damage & Color Repair Nourishing Conditionersince I routinely color and blow dry my hair. Unfortunately I didn’t see any improvements after a week of use and gave up. Knowing that each formula of a particular brand of shampoo will be different, I decided to give this a try. Again I expected to try it out for a week to really see the results, but I noticed some difference after the first day. I have naturally curly hair, so dryness/frizz is an issue and normally if I find one that conditions well, it also weighs my hair down, but this did not. It rinsed out very well and still left my hair moisturized which I can appreciate. Besides the end results, I love the scent; it reminds me of a tropical drink or island because of the coconut. Obviously it’s not necessarily important, but definitely a bonus. I’m pretty sure that when I run out of this I will buy more, either here on Amazon or locally, because the price is right for the results I received.
