Color red depends on the color of your hair

I bought this one as it was one of the only red’s I could find that was temporary wash out. My daughter wanted to try dying her hair and so I found this one to give it a shot. Her hair is a light brown so going bright red ended up being a nice auburn color. Definitely had the red in it which is what she wanted. I would buy this again however the dye did not come with any gloves, which is why I left off a star. The description did not say it did but as someone who has purchased other hair dye’s, I kinda took it as a given.

Gets the Red Out

This is a wonderful product that can be used for a toner. It doesn’t contain or require the use of ammonia or peroxide. It leaves lovely shine and body to the hair.It gives you the option of being a wash out color, temporary enough to be removed with next shampoo or semi-permanent, which will last through eight washes. For semi-permanent you keep it on with a cap and heat up to thirty minutes. It helps eliminate yellow and red tones from bleached hair. This particular color is subtle and gives a sheer pale brown tint.Very satisfied with the results,

Eh.

I knew it was temporary, but it hardly showed up at all and lasted a day. Maybe on blonde hair it would last and show up longer, but anything beyond a light brown and you really will need Manic Panic or something.

Love this stuff

Can’t use hair color products anymore that have "PPD" in them. Them chemical name is too long to write or remember. But I break out in hives blisters when in the last year having my hair colored. Colorist suggested this and it works. Doesn’t last but through maybe 5 shampoos but when you are desperate for gray coverage, this is it. Need to stay under heat for at least an hour to make it work. I bought an inexpensive old fashioned bonnet hair dryer on Ebay to make it easy. But the first two times I purchased a bonnet style hair thingie that you can hook to a blow dryer. It works but a bit of a pain- find it at Sally’s or here on Amazon. I am very gray on top and I apply this with the color "coffee bean", and color is perfect. Also makes hair unbelievably soft afterwards. Couldn’t get by without it and buy several when I run out.

Horrible. Does not Color

I have light brown hair, bought both Coffee Bean and Mocha to darken my hair. NEITHER worked. I followed all instructions, left it on 30 minutes, it just does not stick. Waste of money.

Good Product Easy to Use

I used this without applying heat and it lasted for several weeks. Color was very natural. I want to try it again with heat to see if it lasts longer. You must use plastic gloves and keep from getting on skin around your hairline.

Not good for grey

I forgot how old I was when I got this to keep me without roots in between coloring. It turned the grey a nice pink color! LOL. This stuff does work, but just doesn’t do the deed for the greys.
