Needs more holo.

The color itself is great. It’s nice to see someone do a holo polish that’s not a pastel. It only took me two coats to get good coverage, and it dried quickly – this would be a great choice if you’re the sort of person that likes to do their nails just before heading out the door. It also wears well. The bummer is that the holo aspect of it doesn’t really show up well. I have a couple other colors of this series and found the holo was a bit stronger in this one, but it still isn’t the party on my nails I was hoping for. At least using Seche Vite on top didn’t dull the effect.Note to those who do nail stamping – it is possible to stamp with this, if you use a plate with a bold design (no fine lines) and work super extra fast.

I love China Glaze polish it’s one of my favorite brands. I actually have more China Glaze then any other brand. This polish is a beautiful pink-red but the holographic is not like I had hoped. It’s a dulled down version of what I think a holographic polish should be. The old China Glaze Holographic polishes were the BOMB! I wish they would bring them back or do like OPI and re-name them and bring them back in a new collection lol. Sorry OPI you tend to recycle polish colors. I still love you! ;)This polish also chips faster even with a top coat so I don’t know if it’s the formula or what. I am still happy to have it and I might even by some more colors but not for the Holographic pay off but for the colors. Happy Polish Hunting! 🙂

Not impressed.

While it is a very pretty color there isnt much holo too it… You cant see it at all inside even under bright lights. There are better holos out there. I love china glaze but these dissapoint.

Beautiful Color!

The China Glaze Hologlam collection may not be as holographic as some of their previous holo lines, or even as some other brands out their right now, But there is still some beautiful colors available. I have Astro Hot, Sci Fly By, Cosmic Dust, and just received this one Infra Red, (and will soon have When Stars Collide). This is a beautiful deep Magenta shade, goes on really nice. Though as with most holographic polishes it does not hide perfections, I use a ridge filling base coat, and that works really great and makes the polish look even better. When I want a subtler holo effect I wear the hologlam shades and love them.

I love holo polishes & wanted to love this line. What a disappointment. Really looked more like a frosted / pearl finish and I expected much better. When I do holo, I want BAM, in your face holo! Much prefer Color Club holos, they never disappoint.

My favorite shade from the collection.

This is definitely my favorite shade from the Hologlam collection. The sheen is great and I love how it looks glittery without the grit or hassle of actually using glitter. In the sun this color is beautiful and i love looking at it. My friends love it and have gone out and purchased their own bottle for their collections at home.
