ugh

I am very disappointed with this polish… I barely see the holographic effect in these…I am happy that I didn’t pay full price for this because I would have been very upset.

Not the best holo

I was dissapointed when I opened this and saw that I really couldnt see any holo in the inside light… even under a bright lamp it was VERY fant. If you are lookin for really good holos try the color club halo hues… China glaze is my favorite nail polish company but this just wasnt impressive for a holo. It is a very beautiful color though.

The color is gorgeous but the formula is tricky

Don’t use this over Seche base coat. It’ll practically bead up. This formula doesn’t seem to like any of the base coats I’ve tried it with. It’s still a little streaky on bare nails and leaves bald spots if you go over a spot more than once, so technique is very important. Nonetheless it’s a gorgeous color and one of the only holos I’d ever consider wearing in the office.

So Pretty!!

I’m loving this color so much more then I thought I would! It’s a beautiful deep plum color, and when it hits the light you see that beautiful holographic shimmer. I just love it, such a gorgeous color and very unique for a holo polish! These polishes do have a more subtle holo effect then some others, (like Color Club, which I also love!) but they are still lovely and nice if you want something less bold but still has something about it!

Subtle Holo But Still Pretty

I have 9 of the 12 colors in this collection – did not purchase from Amazon because I got the first 6 when they first came out and Amazon didn’t have them yet. The other three came from Sally’s.So far I’ve worn When Stars Collide and Not In This Galaxy. I’ll review Not In This Galaxy on that page.First off, these are not nearly as holographic as the previous OMG collection. The holo on these is very subtle and only really visible in bright sun or a natural light lamp. This one seemed to be more strongly holo than Not In This Galaxy, though. There does seem to be a duochrome effect in other lighting but, sorry, I can’t remember what this one duochromed to. It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve worn it.The formula on this one was nice. Full coverage with only 2 coats only a small bit of drag. No bubbles but then I let each coat dry completely before putting on the next.Wear was outstanding. I had very little tip wear when I took this off after two days.I would recommend a good, sticky type base coat for these – China Glaze Strong Adhesive Base Coat is what I used. Holos seem so show every imperfection so base coat is strongly recommended – can’t say that enough, actually.Bottom line, even though these are not dups for OMG, they are worth having for something different. I like strong holos but this is a nice change when I want something a little less in your face.
