Good moisturizer, but makes skin shiny.
Good moisturizer, but makes skin shiny.Otherwise, it works well and is not too expensive.Anyway, it’s perfect for wearing just at night.
GREAT eye cream!
Cerave cream is a great cream for under my eyes. I have dry skin around my eyes, and nothing–from expensive skin serums to prescription medicine–has helped moisturize the skin around my eyes like this product. However, I cannot give it 5 stars because I wish it had more antioxidants, like vitamin C and vitamin E to help fight wrinkles more effectively. So I usually cocktail this with a wonderful antioxidant serum to give the skin around my eyes that benefit. Also, this product, while helping to moisturize, it hasnt 100% cured my eczema under my eye. There is no itchiness or rash, but a lingering redness persists. Nothing seems to get rid of it, but Cerave does make it feel better. It’s a superb product by all means, but it’s not a miracle.
This cream was suggested to me by my dermatologist. She provided a sample, and I was so impressed that I ordered more through Amazon.
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is one of my go-to creams when the eczema on my fingers flares up. I find that while a combination of products is best to keep the dry, thick and cracked skin under control, CeraVe has the advantage that it absorbs instantly. That’s great for using it on my hands because it enables me to continue my daily activities without having to wait for it to absorb. It also is fragrance-free and tolerated extremely well by my skin. I use it several times a day and can say that it has helped my skin tremendously. The other products I use in addition to CeraVe are:Worker B – Rescue Putty – 1.75 oz.which only contains beeswax, raw honey and olive oil as well asFirst Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream 2 oz. The rescue putty mostly for when the skin is severely cracked as it can be put on in a thick layer that just stays put, and the FAB cream mostly at night when absorption is not an issue. But CeraVe is my go-to cream during the day and it is another product I have on subscription with Amazon to ensure that I don’t run out accidentally.
I used CeraVe products because my dermatologist recommended them for my dry skin. I use both the lotion (for my body) and the moisturizing cream for my hands. The two once size is perfect for airline travel, too.
