- Reduces risk of split ends; ultra-lightweight and gentle on hair and skin; comfortable and easy to wear

Doesn’t completely cover my hair. Works well to keep hair out of shower or protect from dirt outside. Might do better if the closure were velcro and not a button.

Good turban for wet hair! My other turban is getting old and I can’t find that one anymore so thought this would be close to the old towel. It is small so better for people with a smaller head size and not a lot of long thick hair. I have small head and shorter thin hair and it is a bit snug for me, the elastic is snug. Seems like a good product it does absorb a lot if water because when I take it off the ycloth seems a lot wetter then my other regular towel turban. I like the button and loop feature stays in place real well.i I just hope after time the elastic loosens a bit.I haven’t washed yet, need to remember do not use bleach or fabric softner on these.

I am very happy with this hair wrap. I don’t know if it actually reduces my hair drying time. I just like the way it stays on my head so tight. I can get so much more done with wet hair than ever before. I can run up and down the stairs to the laundry room, brush my teeth, put on my makeup, drink my coffee. Could not do that with a regular towel wrapped around my head, that is for sure. I squirt some of my leave in conditioner into my hair before I wrap it (if I remember) and I like the way it feels when I finally take off the wrap. I might have to make this my standard girlfriend gift this holiday season.

Here is what to do: Tip head forward, put on the turban, place hair into the turban, twist twist twist as much as needed, flip the end over, button and go…. Buy several of them to minimize shipping cost. This way you can use each once or twice then wash. This microfiber textile can withstand hundreds of washes, unlike cotton. You will enjoy your hair turban for years without having to replace them, and by ordering several at a time, you will never run out. Care instructions: Hand or machine wash in warm water with mild detergent. Tumble dry low heat setting. Do not use bleach or fabric softener as it would reduce the efficacy of the microfiber. Do not iron and do not dry clean.
- One size fits all
- Highly absorbent microfiber
- Gently dries hair, less blow drying
- Just twist, flip and button
- Easy to use
I’m the kind of person who gets out of the shower and lounges about for a few hours before getting dressed. I love that I can wear this hair towel, lay down on the couch, brush my teeth, eat breakfast and do makeup without worrying about my towel falling off my head! It dries my hair well too and cuts down on blow drier time.

Awful. I usually use the turbie twist but needed another and got thus instead. Yuck. It’s way too loose and feels so rough, especially after a few washes.

I’ve always used the original turbie towels and wanted to try something different. The turbie towels wear thin after many washings and the elastic stretches out. This style stays on much better. Downside, I had to wash several times to get rid of a strong chemical odor. I like the feel of 100% cotton better.

The Hair Towel that’s specially designed for wrapping wet or dry hair. Simply slip over hair…then twist, loop and it’s there to stay! Turbie Twist’s tapered design fits on any head and is lightweight. This Microfiber Hair Towel is attractive, functional and so comfortable! One size fits all. You’ll never use a bath towel again!
- One Size Fits All
- Machine Washable
- Twist & Loop System
Use these again and again in place of a big bath towel. Design allows you to squeeze the water out of your hair instead of all the rubbing and fluffing with a towel. Very pleased.

My mother-in-law spent a lot more on QVC to buy these for my 3 year old and her 7 year old cousin. I know that I love them. She loves having her hair wrapped after the bath, it keeps it up so that I can dry her and lotion her up! We travelled with it and it was great. I’m not excited about the way the material feels, especially out of the wash, but it works so well that we use it. I’m buying some for myself today from Amazon as they are A LOT cheaper than on QVC.

Works well. I like the ability to tie it place. I really notice a difference when I do not use.

This hair wrap is such a great invention. It’s basically a headscarf with compartments that provide a place for gel pack inserts so that you can deep condition your hair without being tied to a bulky hairdryer. I purchased this product because it was suggested on a natural hair blog and because, as a student, I didn’t have time to sit under a dryer all day. I had to study! This product was definitely the solution. To use this hair wrap, all you have to do is microwave the gel packs per the instructions written on each pack and then put them into the the wrap’s compartments. Then you fasten it on your head and you are free to go about your business for about 30 minutes of deep conditioning. After 30 minutes, the heat is gone. I prefer to boil water and place the gel packs in it for 5 minutes rather than using the microwave because I have heard that the inserts can burst if heated too long in the microwave. I have never had a problem with boiled water method. When using this method, I even find that the wrap is often too hot to put on my head so I have to let it cool a bit before wearing it.I have two reasons for giving this product 4 stars instead of 5. The first is that when you put the wrap on your head, part of your head will not come into contact with the heat. You have to reheat the gel packs and then turn the wrap around to condition your entire head and that’s just annoying. The second reason is because the material is really abrasive for your hair. You definitely can’t just put the wrap on your hair without some sort ofElastic Plastic Processing Capto protect your hair. Even when just the edges of my hair touch the wrap, I notice some breakage. I just have to be extra careful to make sure that my entire hairline is under the plastic cap when I use this hair wrap. That said, I would suggest this product because it has made my life easier and served its intended purpose. Just make sure that you carefully heat the gel packs and wear a processing cap this hair wrap. Happy conditioning!

Love this hair wrap. I used it in the microwave the first time but I later discovered that putting it in boiling water makes the heat last longer. No more sitting under a stationary bonnet for hot hair treatments!! Love it!

I bought this cap from another site and although it works well, it cannot get as warm as you’d need it to be for deep conditioning nor does it stay warm for a long time. I used this product ACCORDING TO THE DIRECTIONS and the packs burst and the gel hardened. I called the place I got it from and they do not sell refill packs. I have yet to find any place that does. So now, this product is basically a towel. It was okay while it lasted though but if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn’t have bought it.

Diva Dryer is made of Aquitex. Aquitex is a super-absorbent microfiber material that dries a girl’s hair quicker than an ordinary hair towel. Dry your hair in half the time!
- Stays on your head (with 1 brilliant little button!)
- Real microfiber (a fancy word for super-absorbent)
- Dries hair fast (less blow drying!)
- Packaged in a vinyl bag
I bought this towel with the intention of using it turban style to “plop” my curly hair and dry it faster. The turban style is hard to accomplish (it took me several tries to figure out how to make the little rubber band go around the button to make a turban) and not good for plopping. I use it sideways so I can plop and encourage curl formation. So for curly heads, if you want a microfiber towel, stick with the regular ones. The turbans smush your hair and won’t really work for plopping unless you use them just as you would a regular t-shirt or microfiber towel. The Diva Dryer does not dry my hair faster, as advertised. I don’t notice any difference when using the Diva Dryer compared to using a plain old men’s t-shirt. Both will absorb excess water (the t-shirt will feel wetter) and my hair will not be discernably drier after using the Diva Dryer. Thus, I don’t think this costly towel is worth the money.

This is a nice idea that doesnt work at all. I bought this to have a small, light, neat way to keep my hair out of the way while using facial masks, bubble baths etc… but the thing wont stay on your head, it rides up so your hair is exposed, it pulls uncomfortably at the front of your hairline– it’s pretty useless.Stick to using a towel and save your money.

Maybe it’s just me but I feel $12 is a bit much for one hair towel (I’d like to see 3 in a pack but who wouldn’t?) Anyways, price point aside, I think this is a great find. One of my girlfriends was wearing this turban at the spa on the last cruise we went on and I really liked it – especially the button to hold it in place! I usually use a regular bath towel in the morning but it is really heavy and I think the pulling from all that weight is probably not so great for my hair either. This is very light, absorbs well (though no better then a bath towel, it’s still impressive for being just a fraction of the size) and it is sorta cute :). I bought mine in pink and now that I know I like it, I’ll probably buy at least 2 more. I do wish they had different colors or prints to choose from instead of just the white/pink.TIP: I read a few reviews where people struggled with getting the loop to reach the button. I too had the same problem but found that there is a trick to getting this turban to work (even with my big noggin). Before you start twisting the fabric, draw the length of the turban so that the elastic is somewhat ‘taut’. Once fully extended, then twist and you should now find that you have just enough fabric length to attach the loop to the button in the back. I found that if you start twisting first (prior to lengthening the elasticized fabric) you simply won’t have enough length or ‘give’ to reach that button in the back. Hope this helps!

Increase the efficacy of your hair treatments with this reusable, heated hair turban from Hair Therapy Wrap. The removable, microwaveable, gel heat packs offer cord-free heating that works with the durable insulation for maximized product penetration. A plastic cap seals in product and a layer of washable, terrycloth further insulates. Oil and reconstructive treatments are activated by the warmth to do their work, as the hair follicle of each strand is relaxed and open for diffusion.
- May be heated in the microwave or on the stove top
- Helps products to penetrate more deeply
- Heat opens hair follicle for better treatment
- Increases efficacy of hair treatments
I have only use it like 3 times. Its okay a waste of money though because its difficult to heat the packs and stuff it into the tarp

I just got done using this for the first time, and, while I like it overall, it definitely is hard to get it to fit to your head and stay in place. It comes with three sets of gel packs that you insert into the hood. Then you microwave the entire thing for about 45 seconds to heat up the gel packs. After placing a disposable shower cap on your head, you place this on top to do your deep conditioning treatments. As the previous reviewer said, this does an excellent job of retaining heat and it covers your entire head. However, the turban twist that you use to secure it doesn’t tighten the wrap at all, so on my (rather large) head, it sort of floated around, without staying tightly in place. I used it to do two twenty-minute treatments and just read on the couch, but any time I got up to walk around, it bobbled and I had to hold it in place. It still beats sitting in one place under a hard-hat dryer for the same amount of time, though, and for that I give it a good rating. It’s portable, easy-to-use, and does a nice job of heating up.It also comes with two disposable shower caps to get you started with your deep treatments, but the elastic bands weren’t tight enough to keep my hair on the top of my head, so I went with another disposable cap that I picked up at my local beauty supply.

I originally thought this was a plug in device and it warmed your head, so I was a little disappointed when I got it and it was microwaveable, but I should have read the product description better. However, it works really well. My deep conditioner says deep condition with heat and so I was literally sticking a hair dryer to my head, which was not easy, so this provided a great alternate. I have used it over 20 times and I love it!
