BEST NAIL CARE

THIS IS DEFINITLY ONE OF THE BEST NAIL CARE BRAND E V E R BIG TIME YES FOR SURE !!

This was a bad joke

There’s an insert in the package telling me how important cuticles are to nail growth, and I get that, but every now and then, they need to be abolished from the nail for appearance sake. That’s what I thought would happen with this "minimizer." But I was wrong. Nothing happened. Nada. Talk about a waste of money, if you want to throw your hard earned cash away, buy this. If you want to simply remove/push back cuticles, use anything else. I’ve been using Sally Hansen most all of my life, and I shouldn’t have experimented. Barielle in my opinion is an overpriced line that has snob appeal but nothing else. All show, no go. Don’t waste your money.

Works well

It works really well for me and makes my finger tips much softer. However I don’t like the fact that the skin under my nails get dry and flaky so I have to watch that and scrub the skin and lotion well after. Otherwise good buy for when I don’t want to do my nails while showering.

Maybe it’s a little too strong?

I put the product into a small dish, I dip my fingers into it and let them soak for about a minute. Then one by one I carefully pulled away the loose cuticles. The product worked very well. That night I noticed that my fingertips felt very scratchy whenever I touched certain types of fabric. Not only had it removed the cuticles, but it also made for a lot of extra "loose" skin all over my fingertips and fingers. If I am to use this again I will do it one finger at a time.Carefully apply it to just my cuticle areas. When it says skin remover/cuticle remover, it really means it. My fingertips and any area that the product touched felt very dry and "scratchy" for the next week. I ended up massaging Vaseline and Aquaphor into my fingertips and cuticles for the next week or so just to bring them back to "normal". Like I said if you’re going to use this product, do one finger at a time, and use a Q-tip or small brush to carefully apply the liquid to the cuticle area only. It is not a thick cream or even a thin cream, it is runny like water, so the best bet is to put it into a little dish, and then apply from there. because if you squeeze it onto your finger you will waste a lot of it, and make a huge mess while you’re at it. This product does work, it does do what it says it is made for, but there is a little bit of a learning curve to using it properly, and a little bit of trial and error to getting it right. So if you have horrible cuticles like me this is the product for you, but please heed my warnings. When your manicure is done, your cuticles may benefit from a strong moisturizer such as Vaseline or Aquaphor.

No good for hard gel

I bought this because the hard builder gels were not adhering to my natural nails. This has not helped at all. The hard gels still are not lasting more than a few hours before they start flaking off. The soak off gels stay on fine, so I’ll probably just use this under the soak off foundation. But I wanted gels that would strengthen my nails for the winter, and I could polish over with RNP, sadly gelish is not working for me. I’ll try some of the other hard gels from other companies eventually, it just sucks I’ve wasted almost $50 (all together) on hard gels that don’t work

Bonds Harmony Hard Gel like a PRO

Rather than go to the salon to get gel (powder) nails with plastic tips or a gel manicure, I use Harmony hard gel to add thickness to my natural nail surface. I use Pro Bond to dry the natural nail surface so the hard gel will adhere. My manicures are hard and strong and last up to 2 weeks. I have experienced some lifting along the back edge after 1 week, but I apply some nail glue and press it back down and it lasts for another week.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save money and has the time and the talent to paint their own nails. An LED light is required to set the hard gel. These lamps are available on Amazon. There are lots of YouTube videos to show you how to use this product and do your own gel manicures. LOVE IT!

holds like iron!

This product is great. The hold on my gel nails is perfect. No peeling or lifting! Does not soak off as easily as the rest of the product line, which is fine, a bit of buffing takes it off. My nails did not lift at all, which was what I was looking for. Highly recommend. Use the PH bond first, then this and cure as you would the other gels.

Does what it says!

I bought and used this under the impression that I didn’t really have any dead cuticle but it couldn’t hurt anything to try. I was really surprised to see how much gunk I was able to gently scrape away! I used a little bitty spray bottle to apply it, which makes it handy to just spritz a tiny bit on each fingertip, and then while it was still wet I used my metal cuticle pusher. I think this stuff also whitened my nails slightly, or it could just be that it broke down any residue of crap that was underneath.I also tried it on my feet — wetting my feet with it thoroughly, letting it sit a few minutes and scrubbing with a Salux cloth and foot file. Naturally, my toenails all looked great, but I’m not sure that it did a better job on my dry soles than a long hot soak followed by scrubbing. Maybe the magical recipe is the long hot soak and *then* the Blue Cross Cuticle Remover. At any rate the cuticle remover method is faster when I don’t have time to soak.

Good product

I just started using this product and it seems to work o.k. It does “soften” the cuticle and makes it easier to push and remove with a cuticle pusher/remover but I’m not sure if used alone it would remove cuticle by itself…the bottle is HUGE, so I am going to have it for a long, long time…

I LOVE this product!

I have been using this product forever – close to 20 years or more! One thing I love to do before I give my self a pedicure is to get very warm water in a bowl and squirt some of the Blue Cross liquid into the water. I then soak my feet for a short amount of time and then buff my feet – heels and rough skin etc. It makes my feet so smooth. And when I want to get the cuticles off my fingers I usually soak them as above first and then take a tool to remove the cuticles. Or I take a Q-tip and soak it in the Blue Cross and rub it around each finger – one at a time and then again remove the cuticle with a cuticle tool. I have tried SO MANY OTHER cuticle removers but NONE compare to this product…you will love it too!

It’s Okay for the Price!!!!

This product cleans your cuticles. It’s a good value for the price. However, I probably need something stronger cause it only lasted two days so I guess I have really dry cuticles.

it’s ok

This does help to soften cuticals but no different then any other product. It certainly doesn’t remove and dissolve like they say. Bit disappointead.

This didn’t do anything

I’m not very familiar with cuticle removers, but I was expecting it to remove the excess cuticle at the base of my nail. It did nothing of the sort. At best it softened it, so that I could use my cuticle cutter, but I could’ve just soaked it in water and achieved the same results.

Excellent Product – Excellent Price

I’ve spent a lot of money on cuticle removers over the years and usually get about a tenth of the amount for this price. This works very well to really clean the nails (don’t forget the toenails) so that the gel nail products really adhere to the nails without peeling from the base of the nail. Also helps avoid cuticle nicks.
