RED ZIN is Zin-Tastick!
Love this lipstick. Have it in Red Zin, which is a rich red cranberry color. It goes on so smooth, like butter. Easy to apply, no mess. And does not transfer to your teeth! Not too creamy, but not too dry. A nice balance in between. The Red Zin color does pack a nice punch. I have blonde hair and am fair/medium skinned and it works well on me.The price is great for such a fab lipstick. Great pigmentation. Lasts long as well.
love this lip gloss!
This is such a perfect color- at least for me. Pretty, but not totally obvious. Nice smell, nice consistency. Seems to last a long time. It’s my second tube. First one lasted well over a year.
Among My Favorites! Love This One!
I absolutely love this gloss in the color Iced Coffee! I’m generally not one for gloss; however, this one gives a lovely shiny medium-neutral sheen to any color lip color I’m wearing.I just dab it on the center of my upper and lower lips (don’t smear the lips together) and pretty much every time I wear it, someone will compliment me on my lip color! I wear this over pinks, neutrals, lilacs and browns. As long as you just dab it here and there, it truly adds a beautiful sheen. It’s not sticky, has a light pleasant scent and goes in my purse wherever I go. I was in Ulta yesterday, trying this gloss, and that gloss, and I still say this is my favorite, hands down!Another must for this gal!
My Signature Color
This is my signature color that they don’t sell at the Bare Essentials store anymore. I came online to find it and ended up buying 7 of them! I wear this all the time and it never dries out my lips the way that other lip glosses do. A must buy if you can’t find the right color at the store.
Beware of the funky smell!
I am not thrilled with this lipstick. The Ripe Fig color is pretty and the staying power is okay. However, the product itself isn’t very soft, which makes it difficult to apply. You need to press hard to really see the color on your lips. That’s nothing compared to the smell, though, which is NASTY. I know these are natural products, but I am all in favor of BE adding some artificial fragrances to this stuff to make it smell better. I will not repurchase.
Hardly any pigment, but a lovely shimmer and decent wear. Why it’s called Sangria, who knows?
I dunno ’bout you, but when I think Sangria (or make it), it’s a deep red wine color with fruit in it. Yes, I know there are white sangrias and rose sangrias, and I’m assuming this one is meant to harken to white sangria or white and rose mixed with paler fruit, cause this is not a red or a plummy or a wine color. It’s a very shiny, shimmery, attractive warm “nude” sort of tone.I do think it’s an attractive gloss for those who like discreet–read “hardly pigmented”–glosses. The shine/shimmer is lovely. The color is enough to give lips the illusion of being plumper. The smell is a bakery vanilla that, while not as nice as MAC’s, is acceptable. The cupuacu butter keeps lips nicely moisturized. It contains no pthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic fragrances, syntehtic dyes, or sulfates–which is a good thing.A good product for gloss lovers. If only they could get more varieties of shades with higher pigmentation. 🙂
Keep up the new colors!
Always the best makeup.. Goes on smoothly and I love the color! Always looking for more Bare Excentuals! Best COLOR!
Bare Escentuals 100o/o Natural lipcolor Rock Candy
I have already had lipstick from Bare Minerals the color was Maple Syrup. And that was to dark for me.It is a little hard to find the right colors for me.but when you go in to the bare minerals on amazon they give you a decription of the colors. then all you have to know what looks good on.and once you know what looks good you know how to pick the colors for your self.I found another lipstick color that I like i just might get for myself.
I have med skin tone and this is the most perfect pink! It’s pigmented just enough to work for a night out as well as a nice dinner date or even for work. And it doesn’t make your lips feel sticky.
Wonderful lipstick, smooth and comfortable!
I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there’s none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I’m Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people’s lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a “bitten” look.
