Good On The Hair But Not On The Skin/ Not Good For Eczema
I’d been eyeing this product waiting for our Cetaphil to run out. We finally bought this product and I’m not a fan of it .On the skin it left our 11 month old daughter’s legs very ashy and this hadn’t happened since we stopped using Johnson and Johnson. She and I battle with eczema on and off and it did not help or feel gentle. Instead, our skin was dried out a bit.It seems pretty good on the hair, though, leaves it soft and shiny. We will be going back to Cetaphil to use to clean our skin with and use the Aquaphor Baby as a shampoo for her.
Love it for sensitive skin
I used Aveeno baby wash with my first baby and it worked great but for my 2nd baby’s skin is more sensitive and seemed dry and redish with Aveeno so I tried this Aquaphor wash on baby #2 followed by Aquaphor Baby Healing ointment and it keeps baby’s skin nice and soft. Came to Amazon to order some more!
Great for babies with sensitive skin
My son had moderate eczema as an infant, and we started using this instead of the Johnson and Johnson varieties of bath wash we had. This does not irritate his skin at all, and gets it clean without over drying it. Our son also has a ton of hair and we use it for his hair too. It works great. We have been using this for his bath followed by Cedaphil after for the last 10 mo., and it’s been great. Highly recommend it.
Good cleanser for my baby’s skin
I have spent countless hours researching and trying fragrance- and dye-free products for my baby. I bought this as an alternative to the Cetaphil Restoraderm Body Wash, which works wonderfully but is ridiculously expensive. My baby has dry skin and mild eczema, partly from our lousy family history and also the dry air in California. It lathers nicely on the baby’s skin but is not as moisturizing as Cetaphil. I wash her with the Aquaphor, then use the Aveeno bath oil, and then lastly slather on Cetaphil Restoraderm Skin Moisturizer. I am not finding the results to be much different than the Cetaphil Body Wash.
This product is so gentle, yet effective! I love this product, and no longer buy shampoo, this is my shampoo and I am 46 years old. There are no harmful chemicals in this product and it is marketed for babies but it is great for anybody at any age.I also got a great price with free shipping buying it from Amazon!
GREAT PRODUCT !!!
This is fabulous we have bought others in the past and none has lived up to our expectations other than this and I would recommend to anyone our son has no allergic reactions to this
